Zombie Apocalypse: Equestria

"We have reports of the outbreak being worse in the cities. The source of the outbreak is still unknown but scientist are working hard to find a cure to this. Infected individuals show higher signs of hostility and should not be confronted." The news pony said on the television on Raging Bullets kitchen counter.

"Please all this is crap. I am sure this will all blow over in a couple days or so." Raging Bullet said as he drank some coffee and put his suit on. He holstered his Colt 1911 in his concealed carry holster and walked out the door to his car. He started the engine of his car and headed of to work.

Raging Bullet turned on the radio, only to hear an emergency broadcast from the Equestria Broadcast Channel . "...I will now read off a list of cities and their current catastrophe level. Canterlot level 9, Fillydelphia level 8, Las Pegasus level 8, Baltimare level 7..." Raging Bullet turned off his radio. "Wow. maybe this wont blow over soon." Raging said to himself as he looked at his phone. When he looked back up there was a pony walking in the road.

"Oh shit!" Raging Bullet yelled as he turned hard left on the wheel. The car swerved off the road into a tree. Raging Bullet woke up to see the pony slowly trot to to his car and start banging on the glass, blood was hanging from his mouth and there was blood sticking to the glass where the pony started hitting it. His clothing was tattered and covered in blood. Raging Bullet unholstered his Colt 1911 and put two shots through the glass of his side window into the ponies skull.

"Oh shit! I just shot somepony. Okay calm down Raging you did it in self defense." Raging Bullet told himself. Raging Bullet opened the door to the car to look at who he shot. When he looked at the body it was all decayed and hard to make out who it was. "I better find out where I am." Raging Bullet looked around and saw a sign that read "Ponyville- 2 Miles" and under the word were "Under Military Quarantine" in white paint. "Well that looks like my only option now." and Raging Bullet walked off

Raging Bullet walked for the next two miles in complete silence while pondering what just happened in his mind. When he got to the outskirts of Ponyville there was an abandoned military checkpoint. "What the hell..." Raging Bullet said as he walked past the empty sandbags and rotting corpses. "Ugh. This is horrible." Raging Bullet said. A moaning sound came from one of the soldiers bodies on the ground. "Hello? Are you hurt?" Raging Bullet asked as he slowly approached the body. Raging Bullet slowly got down to the body, then it lunged at him. "Oh fuck!" Raging Bullet said as he quickly drew his 1911 and shot the stallion in the head.

Raging Bullet checked the body for any type of weapon. All he found was a standard issue Beretta M9 and two magazines. He holstered the M9 in his Conceal carry holster and put his Colt 1911 in his suit pocket and continued walking toward the town. He was hoping he could find somepony to tell him what is going on but the town was empty. He walked to the town hall and saw a small military camp set up with dead soldiers all over the camp.

"What the hell... This is worse than I thought." Raging Bullet said as he started to leave the area. He decided to try to find somepony, anypony who could tell him what was going on and what happened. As Raging Bullet walked past a bakery he heard "PSSST! OVER HERE, HURRY" in a loud whisper tone came from a colorful bakery.

Raging Bullet quickly ran to the sound of the call and a Pink pony opened the door to let him in. "What the hell is going on here!" Raging Bullet yelled as he got inside. "Shhh. I will tell you what happened but keep your voice down or those things will hear you. By the way I am Pinkie Pie" Pinkie said. "Okay I am sorry but what happened here? It looks like a war went on." Raging Bullet whispered.

"A war did go on." A stallion said as he appeared from the shadows. 'I am Captain SureShot I was in what is left of the military you saw out there." SureShot said.

"I am very sorry to hear that" Raging Bullet said.

"Dont worry about it, nothing could have been done, But when the bigger cities, Baltimare, Manehatten, Canterlot and so on fell to the outbreak so we started to quarantine smaller towns like this town you see here. Only 1 by 1 they all started to fall. eventually there were too many infected and not enough ponies to defend the town. soon everything went to shit and it just became every pony for themselves. I quickly ran to the nearest building and met Pinkie Pie here." SureShot said

"you were lucky to make it out of that mess. I saw all the dead bodies." Raging Bullet said

"I was, but its getting late. Lets all get some sleep. we need to work on a plan." SureShot said in a stern voice.

"Plan? Plan for what?" Raging Bullet asked.

"We need to get out of here. maybe somewhere near here that is easily defendable" SureShot said. Raging Bullet started to pace the room.

"Okay lets say we find a place to defend ourselves, then what?" Raging Bullet asked.

"We scavange supplies, find more ponies and just survive." SureShot said.

"Captain we will need fuel for any vehicles we have. Any chance you know where to get some?" Raging Bullet asked.

"Back at the town hall we had a refueling truck for our humvees. If it is quiet tomorrow like it was today we might be able to get some gas, refuel two cars and head to the Everfree." SureShot said.

"That is a good plan. What types of weapons do you have in case things aren't as quiet as they were today?" Raging Bullet asked.

"I have a military issue M4 with an Acog scope along with a Beretta M9." SureShot said. "I, uhh... took this off a dead soldier" Raging Bullet said unholstering the M9.

"How many mags do you have?" SureShot asked.

"I was only able to find two but I also have a Colt 1911 with only 5 rounds left." Raging Bullet said as he pulled out his 1911.

"Okay we will work on a plan tomorrow but for now lets get some rest. I am going to go upstairs on the balcony and keep watch over things." SureShot said.

"I can swap in with you after a little while, just wake me when you need some rest." Raging Bullet said as he walked over to a couch in Pinkies room and fell asleep.
