An outlaw named Ruffback has been terrorizing the good folks of Appleloosa and Sheriff Silverstar is determined to stop him before more ponies get hurt. Little does the sheriff know that Princess Luna has already dispatched two of her powerful and mysterious shadow ponies to apprehend the villainous bandit. But unknown to everyone, a great evil has come from the far south. One the shadow ponies know all too well, and threatens to destroy all life in Appleloosa, unless it is stopped.
