The Power Of Christ Compels You!!!
Rarity was incredibly stressed as she walked into The Carousel Boutique. She had ten orders to fill, half a fashion line to complete for the season, and a emergency fix for one of Sapphire Shores upcoming concert outfits.
She made her way to her insperation room to begin her long list of things to do. The fashionista started to shuffle around the tools of her trade with her magic, scissors, needles, threads, fabrics, pencil and papers, her obnoxiously large sewing machine. She levitated her work glasses to her determined face. Once the flow of work started Rarity was in the zone. Design, create, repeat. She got a rhythm and soon outfits started coming together. If she keeps this up she could be done by the end of the night. Just so long as.
" RARITY I'M HOME!!!! Guess what we got for an assignment at school today?" Sweetie Bell a burst through the door of the shop excited to be home from school.
Rarities flow came to a screeching halt. With her concentration broke her magic lost grip on what it was doing and everything fell to the floor. " Grrr. Sweetie Bell I am trying to work here. It's very important so please keep it down."
The little filly barged into the inspiration room. Her face was all smiles. " Guess what we got for an assignment!!!" She repeated.
Rarity turned around from her work desk. She sighed knowing that if she where to resume working at a constructive pace she was going to have to appease her sister just a bit.
" Well do tell dear I'm kind of in a jam right now." Rarity stated as she tried to pick up her things and get the flow of work going again.
" We have to writet a paper on different cultures. You know like Saddle Arabian, or Japony!!!" She was clearly very excited about this project.
" Well that's all very fascinating but I think the best place to get that sort of thing done is at the library. You should head over there and we can both get our work done." She smiled at her little sister with patience.
" That sounds like a great idea!" Sweetie Bell ran over to grad her saddle bag and head out. She trotted down the stairs and almost made it out the door before she saw a large figure standing by the door way looking around.
He looked at the filly and smiled. " Oh hi there. I saw the open sign so I came in my name is Father Patrick."
Sweetie Bell looked at the man and got a little scared. She had never seen a creature like that before. He wore all black clothes and a white strip in his collar where a tie would usually go. He had white hair on his head and a beard. Around his neck was a beaded necklace with a t on it. He almost looked like a minotaur only with out the head out a bull and she didn't think clover hooves would fit into shoes so goat legs where off the list.
" Rarity. There's someone weird in the shop." Sweetie Bell set down her saddle bag and backed away slowly.
Her sister made her way down to the front. She saw who Sweetie Bell was referring to and she had to admit, it was some what odd looking.
" Hello sir and Welcome to The Carousel Boutique. My name is Rarity what can I do for today." She new she had work to get back to but it would be rude of her not to see what this um.... gentleman needed.
" Why miss I have been traveling for a long while on my mission. I was wondering if you would be interested in hearing the gospel?" He asked innocently but with an alternative motive.
Rarity twirled her mane with her hoof. " Well you see dear I am very busy right now but..." Suddenly a brilliant idea came to her. She looked around the shop until she spotted her sister hiding behind a couple of mannequins. She enveloped her in magic and carried her over to where she was standing. Sweetie Bell looked at him with wide eyes.
" My sister is doing a paper on different cultures. I'm sure she would love to hear all about your gospels!" She walked backwards slowly making her way back to the inspiration room.
