Roxanna, a young mermaid princess from the kingdom of Mertropolis, is sent to the oceans in the dimension of Equestria for refuge. Though, as she stays, her desire to reunite land and sea grows stronger. This is strictly forbidden among merkind.

Then, one night, when she saves the Mane 6 from a shipwreck, she unknowingly fulfils a prophecy for a new Element of Harmony.

After a risky trade with the sea witch, Medulla, Roxanna gets a chance to prove she's worthy of being the new element.

But how can she do that when only one of them vaguely remembers her? And, more importantly, how can she do it without the one thing that made her stand out…

…her voice?

(Also, this takes place a little while after the Mane 6 gave up their elements to the Tree of Harmony. The reason why is because I started writing this around the time S4 started, and I never bothered changing it to the current time.)
