Last Farewell

Applejack walked into Nurse Redheart's office and sat down in one of the two wooden chairs. The nurse stepped out from the back room and sat in her rolling chair, shuffled some papers, and spoke in the softest voice. "Applejack, I know this must be hard for you to understand, but Applebloom...she's..." Redheart drifted off, knowing that the words she was about to say would only crush her heart more. Applejack knew what she was going to say and her eyes widened. "No. No, she can't! She can't be! NO! NO!" "I'm sorry, Applejack. There's nothing we can do. Except one thing." Applejack understood what she needed to do. After she left the office, the poor orange mare walked into Applebloom's room, and, with a tearful heart and sunken feelings, kissed her on the head. "I'm sorry," she whispered. She then stepped back from her bed as the nurse pulled the plug of the machine. The beeping stopped. The machine ceased to work. Now all that was left was the sleeping body of Applebloom.

Dear Celestia,
I just got back from the funeral. I have never felt so much pain before in my life ever since my parents died. I was so saddened that I almost cried myself to sleep. Rainbow Dash cradled me in her hooves, cryin' as well. I don't know what to do now. My life has now turned into a complete disaster. I've lost my dearest sister and now I'm thinkin' that I should just end it all. Please, help me. I don't know what to do! Please take care of Applebloom, also. I love her more than life itself. Please... Sincerely, Applejack(The letter was speckled with tear drops)

After sending her letter to Spike, which he did by burning it so that turned it into a magical mist, Applejack went back to her Sweet Apple Acres, went up to her room, and slept on her bed for a good 6 hours, knowing that Applebloom was now somewhere happy and joyful. After she had woken up, she just laid there, silently crying to herself as she stares at the book that contained the most recent memories of her dearest sister. It was then that her life was changed forever.
