Fluttershy was running.

Running away from... Well, she just knew it wanted to hurt her.

She was wildly gasping for breath as she dashed down the long corridor.

"Where is she?" said a frightening voice from behind her.

Breathe, Fluttershy told herself.

"I see her!" growled the voice.

Fluttershy ran faster and faster, until she couldn't go any faster. She stole a quick glance behind her to see -

Nightmare Moon.

Run! You have to run faster! Fluttershy said to herself.

But Nightmare Moon was catching up...

Fluttershy's knees gave way and she tumbled to the stone floor. Nightmare Moon came up to her and gave an evil smile.

P-please... gasped Fluttershy.

"Fluttershy," Nightmare Moon cackled.

The pegasus in question whimpered.

"Fluttershy?"

It seemed like the voice was softer now, with care and compassion.

"Wake up," said the calm voice.

Fluttershy opened her eyes wearily to see -

Discord!

"Good morning, Discord..." croaked Fluttershy.

"Good morning, beautiful! Do you remember what day it is?"

"No..." Fluttershy yawned.

"It's your birthday! I have something for you!" Her boyfriend grinned.

"What is it?"

"You'll have to get up and see!"

Fluttershy groaned and slid out of bed, bending her wing on the way.

She combed her hair in the bathroom and smiled at herself in the mirror.

She then went out to greet Discord.

"Are you ready, sleepyhead?"

Fluttershy blushed and said, "Yes!"
