Derpy Hooves is known throughout Ponyville. If asked, everyone in the town could tell about her name, among one or two other things.

And yet, details about her past are relatively blurry to most. She came here that same dreadful night, during which the elements of harmony vanquished the terrifying monster known as Nightmare Moon. Anything, which happened before that remains an enigma.

The clumsy mailmare's life has never been easy. Same goes for the ponies, who are - or were, rather - linked to most of her life.
