A Diamond Dog Tale

Okay Let's see where fetch use to live before the caves. Also when i have more then two ponies in a conversation I'll be using colors so you can recognize who is speaking. Recommend you read this in dark setting then light. It hurt my eyes trying to pre-read this.

Chapter 9

Fetch's OLD home

"So where are we going Fetch?"

"It's somewhere I've always wanted to go for a while, since I lived in that cave."

"Can you give me a hint."

"Yeah it's my old house."

"*giggle* That's not a hint Fetch."

"Yeah I know but I just wanted you to know where I was taking you."

They walked down the streets of Ponyville get some hello's and hi's as they passed by, even a mare said 'Look at the cute couple.' making Fluttershy blush, and Fetch chuckle. They walked to SugarCube Corner to get some treats for the walk there. They entered and were surprised when Pinkie popped out in front of the two, scaring Fluttershy.

"Oh hi you two, how are you two doing today?!"

"Oh you scared me Pinkie."

"We're doing good Pinkie." Fetch said grabbing Fluttershy and bringing her close to his side which she nuzzled his chest.

"Real good."

Pinkie got excited and started hopping around the couple making Fluttershy hide her face in his chest from the embarrassment. Making Fetch laugh as Pinkie started making a song about the two. Pinkie hopped next to Fluttershy and grabbed her head to face her. Pinkie had her signature grin on going from ear to ear.

"Oh Fluttershy I'm so happy you finally found your special somepony or would it be special somedog but then that wouldn't make any sense I need to find out what Diamond dogs call it."

"Pinkie!"

"Yeah Fetch."

"We call them, The One."

"Well that makes more sense then special somedog, so Flutters is he, The One?"

"Yes Pinkie." she replied kissing him on the lips in front of her friend making her 'Awww' . "He is."

"Well I'm glad to hear that I can't wait to tell our friends."

"No Pinkie." Fluttershy interjected. "I think we can do that on our own...if that's alright with you."

"Okie Dokie Loki anyway why are you two here?"

"We came to get something to take with us on our trip to my old house."

"Oh okay give me a sec." Pinkie disappeared and re-appeared in a blink of an eye with a box on her back. "Here you go a bakers dozen of the best cupcakes we have to offer."

"Thanks Pikine what do we owe you."

"Oh it's on the house, now you two love birds have fun now."

"Oh we will thanks Pinkie."

The two left the bakery and seen three little fillies running towards them They came to a screeching hault when they saw Fetch.

"Hey Fluttershy who's your friend, or is a friend?"

"Oh hi Scootaloo, Sweetiebell, Applebloom I want you to meet my special someone. Fetch." she said pointing towards Fetch.

"Hey girls nice to meet you."

"Hey I know you, You were in my sister's shop yesterday."

"Yes I was, so you must be Rarity's little sister." he said messing up Sweetiebell's hair making her giggle.

"Wait, yer goin' out wit a Diman'd Dog."

"Yes I am Applebloom. He is the most nicest one I've ever meet."

"So what are you three doing?"

"We'r tryin' tha find ar cutiemarks."

"Well how's the search coming."

"Not very well, we tried like ten different things, but none of them were are special talent."

"Well I'm sorry to hear that, but it's just like my mother always said. 'Never give up because there is always a way to get to your goal no matter what it maybe."

"Thanks Fetch."

"You know what your one pretty cool Dog."

"Come on girls let's go to tha club house."

"OKAY!"

The three fillies gave Fetch's legs a quick hug and ran off to their club house

"Well that was very nice of you to give them that information."

"Hey what can you do, I like kids, I always wanted some but never got the chance to have any."

"You...you always wanted to have a child?"

"Yeah. Its just that...I never got around to doing it, you know."

"Wow he always wanted to have a child and so have I, but...we can't have any. He's a whole other species...*Sigh* I guess we both won't get what we want.*"

"So Shy. You ready to go?"

"Yeah Fetch I'm ready."

The two left for their destination not knowing there was somepony Listening to their conversation.

"So he's going to his old house, will I think I should pay it a 'Quick' visit."

At Sweet Apple Acres

"So Fluttershy found her ah special somepony who a'nit no pony at'all?"

"Yup sis and he's very nice too."

"Well i'm glad fer her. Come on Granny is makin her apple pies right now."

Carousel Boutique

"She's dating WHO?!"

"She dating Fetch."

"Fluttershy is dating HIM!"

"Yeah isn't that great."

*FAINT, THUD*

"Rarity are you alright?"

A Hour Later

"So Fetch how long do you think it'll take till we get there?"

"We should be their in a few more minute...Is that ...Smoke."

"Yeah it seems to be coming that direction." Fluttershy said pointing North West

"OH FUCK THAT'S THE SAME DIRECTION AS MY OLD HOUSE!"

Fetch ran down the dirt road hoping and repeating to himself "Please don't be on fire." He finally arrived to the source of the smoke. His old home...it was on fire. He dropped down to floor as the he watched his Childhood home burn down in front of him the ashes falling down like rain. Time seemed to slow down as everything around him moved in slow motion all the ponies that live in that area tried to douse the fire with storm clouds and buckets of water.

Flutteshy finally caught up with Fetch and saw a house burning down and Fetch on the floor. She walked up to him and seen tears falling from his face, his expression not changing. He stared blankly at the house as all his childhood memories ran through his mind. All the good times he had there now going up in flames.

"Hey. Did anypony catch who ever did this."

"Yeah we have him right over here."

Fetch's attention turned to the one who started the fire. It was somepony he'd hoped he'd never see again. It was Dumbbell trying to fight his way from the ponies that were holding him. Fetch's eye started twitching, nose flaring, arms shaking,  teeth showing, and fist clutched.

He lets out a howl so loud that everypony had to stop what they were doing cover there ears. Fetch sprinted towards Dumbbell who was holding his ears from the loud howl only to open his eyes to see Fetch tackle him into a near by building breaking his wings from the sudden impact.

Dumbbell tried to scream in pain but was hit in the face numerous times. Fetch was releasing all of his anger out on him not caring what may happen to himself. Some ponies regained the composer to see Fetch beating the life out of Dumbbell. They all ran over to pull Fetch off and drag Dumbbell some where safe. Fetch was a good thirty feet from him.

Before he broke free from all the ponies that were holding him and ran back over to Dumbbell wrapping his paws around his neck choking the life out of him. More ponies came to get Fetch off him which cause him to start attacking other ponies that were keeping him away from Dumbbell.

The struggle lasted for a whole thirty minutes. Fifteen ponies were harmed and injured, before the royal guards came. They had their swords unsheathe and pointed towards Fetch. He was covered in blood his shirt had three long cuts on it. One of the Guards was covered in steel amour instead of the regular gold. The unicorn stepped out in front of all the guards and faced the raged filled Diamond dog.

"I am Shinning Amour, captain of the royal guard, cease and desist at once."

Fetch lowered his head and started to laugh maniacally raising his head towards the unicorn smiling like a psycho.

"Well Shinning Amour have you ever dreamed of what is was like to take a life or what its like to die."

"No I haven't. I would never take the life from anypony, even if its from somepony like you."

"Well looks like I have and advantaged over you. You see, I have lived both of those all ready, so neither of them scare me. I could kill you with out blinking"

Fetch walked closer to Shinning Amour who raised his sword towards Fetch.

"Tss tss tss. Didn't your mom tell you it isn't safe to be playing with swords."

Fetch grabbed the edge of the blade, laughing as he slowly drew his paw back leaving a small trail of blood on it.

"You, Me, and your men know, you don't have what it takes to kill me, but we all know I have what it takes to kill you."

"No...Your wrong...I do have what it takes."

"Then prove me wrong." Fetch grabbed the sword and moved it right at his throat. "Do it...If you can." Fetch put his paws behind him bringing his claws out.

Shinning Amour hesitated to thrust the blade into Fetch. "No then I would be doing you a favor."

"Just as I expected." Fetch threw one fatal swipe across Shinning Amour's throat letting the blood shoot out like a fountain. Fetch drank his blood as he dropped down to the ground picking up his sword and cutting off his head.

Fetch took in a deep breath as he came back to reality as his house was no longer on fire. Everypony that was there had left, Fetch was in a trance for what seemed to like thirty minutes Fluttershy holding him in a tight hug.

"Fetch what happened to you. You didn't respond to me when I was calling you."

"How long have I been here?"

"About a whole forty-five minutes. I was scared you would of done something really drastic."

"What was the cause of the fire?"

"An old gas stove. Apparently it was leaking and it must of reached a candle in the house."

"Let's go home I have nothing here anymore."

"But, Fetch we came all this way don't you think we should..."

"I don't want to talk about it."

"But maybe you can.."

"I said No."

"But Fetch."

"I said, LET'S GO!"

Fluttershy winced at his outburst he never yelled at her.

"Fetch are you sure you don't want to talk about it."

Fetch looked at her a look of disgust on his face. He shook his head in disapproval and walked back to her house.

"Why is he acting like this I mean yeah his house burned down but yelling at me isn't going to solve anything. I should just give him his space."

The two walked home not saying a word to each other. Once they arrived home Fetch laid on the couch with his back turned to her. She put a hoof on his shoulder but he shook it off.

"Well we can talk about when your ready."

She started to go upstairs and stopped half way to look at him.

"Good night Fetch."

"..."

"I Love you."

"..."

"*sigh* I see you in the morning."

She went up stairs and cried herself to sleep wondering why he was acting this way.

IN A DARK ROOM

"So not only is his old house burned down, but he's not talking to her now?"

"Yes that's correct."

"You've really out done yourself you two maybe you can get what you both want when this is over."

"You mean her right?"

"And a cart load of Diamonds?"

"Yes you can have what you two please."

Three shadows leaned into the light in the middle of the room. The two ponies where Hoops and Dumbbell. Laughing evilly  with the Leader of the Diamond Dogs...Rover.

OH SHIT. Now we know who these mysterious shadows are. Why are the doing this to Fetch. Well he ever talk to Fluttershy or will he leave and never be seen again Find out Next chapter 'The Dog with a Soft Side' till next time everypony.
