Chapters Author's Note
Welcome to the very first episode. Today we have three wacky challenges and our mystery guest! (I can't tell you who she is. Oh no! I've said to much!) We also get a surprise appearance from Princess Celestia. Enjoy this episode and stay tuned for the next episode on Monday!!!
Episode One
The anthem of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic plays on the screen and the Equestria symbol appears. Twilight sits down in a nice read chair while our mystery ponie sits on the couch. A scowl is on the mares face but she smiles when the camera starts to roll, even though she is covered by a dark curtain.
“Welcome everypony! Are you ready for the first episode of Random Events? Well I hope so because today our mystery pony is…..”
The black curtain lifts up to reveal Nightmare Moon, the pony Princess Luna became when she turned from her sister.
“Hello Equestria! Are you ready to be trapped in eternal darkness?” She said menacingly.
Twilight shot her a deadly glance but went back to smiling.
“So, Nightmare Moon, how does it feel to be free again?”
“The same, except now there’s sunlight and gravity.”
A loud ding echoed around the room and a small screen popped up. It showed one musical note on it.
“Looks like it’s time for the first random event challenge, the musical of a thousand mice.” Twilight cheered.
Nightmare Moon gave her a confused look. Twilight sighed and decided to explain better.
“You have to sing a song while walking through a thousand mouse traps with mice crawling around the place. There is no out a pitch notes aloud or a pause in the song except for breathing, otherwise you will lose your chance at winning the grand prize.”
She nodded. The stage went black, then lit up again with everything removed except for mouse traps and mice. Nightmare Moon stood on one end, looking at the magic proof music player that she had to turn off to win. The music started to play and she walked forward.
“Even though I’m not the best singer, I’m gonna work on winning that prize. And if you try to linger on it, I’ll turn you into some fries. La la la la la la!”
She took in a deep breath to avoid screaming as a mouse trap snapped on her hoof.
“I don’t care what pain comes, because I want to win! And if I hear the drums, I think I’m gonna spin. La la la la la la!”
She made it to the other side and turned off the music player. Nightmare Moon screamed as she ripped off the the mouse traps. She had several bites on her legs but other than that and the cuts from the traps she was fine. The stage went black again, then lit up onto the beginning set. Twilight was trying hard not to laugh.
“Congratulations, you’ve passed the first random event!”
“Are you laughing at me? How dare you! I’ll banish you to the moon forever!” She screamed.
Another ding came and she groaned. The screen came up to show a fish swimming in a muddy lake. It appeared to have little brown worms clinging to it.
“Time for the next challenge. All you have to do in this one is stay underwater for thirty seconds while leeches crawl all over you. If you come up for air too early you will get the same punishment as before and a dive in the spider infested pit.”
Nightmare Moon wanted to tell her that she didn’t want to do it but it was too late. A tank of water came up next to the stage and she was ejected out of her chair and into the water. She took a big gulp of air just before she fell in. The timer started. Nightmare Moon wanted to scream as the leeches crawled over her but didn’t want to risk losing the big prize. She tried to look through the muddy water but it stung her eyes, causing her to lose her breath and swim up for air. When she came up the timer was at five seconds. Twilight smiled and lifted her out of the tank, making sure to leave the leeches behind.
“I could’ve won that prize too!” Nightmare Moon said crossly.
“Well it looks like you’ve lost your chance at the big prize and gotten yourself a dip in the spider pit. Be careful!” Twilight warned. “There’s some poisonous ones in there!”
Her eyes widened. “I didn’t sign up for this!”
“Yes you did. Try reading the fine print.”
Twilight used her magic again to lift her into a small pit full of cobwebs and spiders. She screamed really loud as one crawled up her face. She was in there for only a few seconds but she got bit at least three times. Nightmare Moon grabbed a broom and tried to clean herself off but instead got covered in green paint.
“What is the meaning of this?”
The ding came and a squirrel came on the screen.
“You’re gonna be attacked by squirrels. The way to win is to stay still and act like a bush so they won’t attack you” Twilight said with a sly smile on her face.
The screen went black, then lit up again to show Nightmare Moon crouching down. Squirrels were surrounding her, they all had a rock in their hands. She looked up at a squirrel and shrieked. All the squirrels started to throw their rocks at her. She ran only to run into a brick wall covered in glue. She yelped as rocks hit her back and teeth met her legs. The screen quickly flashed and went back to its original setting. Twilight was laughing as hard as she could while Nightmare Moon glared at her.
“That is it! I’m going to bring eternal darkness onto Equestria! But first I’m gonna deal with you!” She screamed.
Celestia ran onto the stage and cast a spell on Nightmare Moon, causing her to be imprisoned again. Twilight looked at her and gasped in mock horror.
“Now we lost our special guest. Well I guess that’s it for this episode. Join us next time for a new pony and a new episode! And before I forget the special prize will now go to Celestia.”
The alicorn smiled.
“The prize is…….one hundred bits!!!”
The anthem played again as the curtain covered the stage.
Author's Note
In this episode we have a great mystery pony, awesome challenges, and in some pony's opinion, an awesome prize. And don't worry there's not any interruptions in there. Oh who am I kidding? We lost some cash in the budget so we have to put in the scariest thing: a commercial. No please don't kill me it's not my fault. Just watch the episode, a commercial won't kill you will it? (Hopefully, we don't want to be sued)
Episode Two
The starting song played and the curtain lifted. Twilight was in her red chair while our mystery guest was on the sofa, covered by a curtain. The camera rolled and she smiled.
“Hi everypony. It’s time for the second episode of Random Events! Are mystery pony today is…..”
The curtain lifted up to reveal Derpy, the cross eyed pegasus.
“Hello.” She said loudly.
“So Derpy, are you excited?”
“Ya, I can’t wait for the challenges! I wanna win!”
A ding sounded and the screen came out. It had the picture of a bubble on it. Derpy smiled and clapped her hooves.
“Yay bubbles!”
Twilight giggled. “Okay Derpy, in this challenge you have to roll around in a giant bubble without popping it. There will be a small path that you follow to get to the end.”
Derpy nodded quickly and the screen went black. It lit up again to show her in a giant bubble with nails all over the floor. She stuck out her tongue in concentration and started forward. She weaved around the nails with such accuracy she couldn’t believe it. Everypony thought she wasn’t very smart or good at anything but she knew this would prove them wrong. Derpy stopped when she saw the ramp up ahead. She backed up a few steps, then ran as hard as she could. She cheered as she made it to the other side and won the challenge. The screen quickly faded then went back to the other set.
“Good job Derpy! You’ve won the first challenge and kept yourself in the running for the grand prize.”
“That was fun. Can I do it again.”
“Sorry, but you can only do the same challenge once.”
A ding came and the screen showed the same picture. Derpy cheered but Twilight hit the screen repeatedly until the sign changed to a pyramid.
“Okay, in this challenge you have to stack random objects on top of each other to form a tower to win. If you don’t you win then you will lose your chance at the grand prize and get a dip in our spider pit.”
Suddenly Rainbowdash came on the set, a worried look on her face. She walked over to Twilight and whispered in her ear. Twilight gave a sigh and turned back to Derpy.
“So there’s no more spider pit. We ran out of money, so we have to do a commercial.”
The screen turned to a commercial. It had a spinning hamburger in it with rainbows everywhere. Two words popped up on the screen it pink letters.
“Eat Hamburgers!” It said.
That was the end of the commercial. Derpy appeared with a bunch of random objects around her. She started to stack them, but paused when she ran into a rubber band ball. She smiled when she saw a crate. When Derpy was all done Twilight cheered and the screen went back to the first scene.
“Derpy you’re doing great, but now it’s time for the next challenge.”
The ding sounded and a sword appeared on the screen. Derpy cocked her head, trying to guess what it would be,
“Your challenge is sword fighting.” Twilight began. “You will fight against a professional sword fighter. If you win you will do the the final super prize challenge!”
Derpy nodded as the screen went black. When it lit back up there was a fighter ring, a black colt on one side and the cross eyed pegasus on the other. They started the fight. When she hit the colt he bleeded rainbows. Then she stuck his heart and the pony exploded into glitter and rainbows. She noticed that the sword was made out of streamers. The screen flashed back to the other set.
“You’ve won the third challenge Derpy, now it’s time for the ultimate challenge.”
“What wrong with that sparkly pony?” Derpy asked quickly.
“Oh, Pinkie was in charge of getting him so I have no idea.”
Pinkie poked her head out from behind Derpy’s couch.
“You said getting? I thought you said making. Getting makes much more sense, silly me.” She said with a giggle.
Twilight and Derpy looked surprised but Pinkie just smiled and left the stage. Derpy thought over it for a second but ended up just thinking about muffins. Twilight looked back over to her. She smiled and started to use her magic to grab three boxes. Each one had a number on it.
“Derpy, choose a number.”
“Okey dokey lokey. Number two.”
Twilight lifted up box number three to reveal a picture of a clapboard. She put her hoof over her mouth so she wouldn’t laugh.
“Okay Derpy, you’re gonna do a one pony show for three judges. I’ll introduce them to you. Come on out guys!”
Three mares came onto the stage. They each sat on a foldable chair.
“Welcome Rarity, Applejack, and Fluttershy.” Said Twilight.
The three ponies waved to the camera. Rarity flipped her mane while Fluttershy smiled shyly. The screen faded and then brightened to show Derpy standing under the spotlights. She started her one pony show instantly.
“Hello Derpy. Why hi Mr. Bubbles, how are you doing today? Great how are you doing? Very good thanks. So what do you think of the weather? It’s great Mr. Bubbles.”
And that was the end of the show. The judges looked confused and huddled together. After a couple minutes of talking they turned around, each of them giving her and eight. Derpy cheered really loud and a happy tune played.
“Congratulations. You have won the grand prize.” Twilight said.
A curtain covered cabinet flashed in and Derpy opened it. Inside was a life supply of muffins. She cheered again while Twilight turned to the screen. She used her magic to flash a larger picture of the fabulous prize. Derpy grabbed one of the muffins and took a giant bite out of it. She smiled real wide.
“This is amazing!” She exclaimed.
Twilight ignored her. “That’s it for this episode. Tune in next time for more fun, more action, and hopefully a better budget.”
The anthem played and the screen went black.

Welcome to a new episode of Random Events, where you have to eat frog warts and pickled gumdrops! NO! DON'T RUN AWAY, I WAS JUST KIDDING! Today we're going to have a celebrity special guest. Wait, all of them are celebrities? Okay well this is a super celebrity then. It's not a princess though, that's for sure. Make sure to have fun watching this episode of Random Events.
Note: On the next episode we will be having a new host, since Twilight will be in the hospital for at least one and a half weeks due to injury. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Episode Three
The usually intro came, followed by Twilight Sparkle sitting in a green chair, not the usual red. Another pony sat in a green love seat. A black curtain was covering the pony, but you could still see the edge of her black dress. Twilight smiled and turned to face the screen.
"Hi, everypony! Are you ready for a new episode of Random Events?"
A random cheering came from nowhere. It had the voice of a bunch of fillies.
"That's right, we have one of those things that make crowd noise for our show now. Turns out that stupid commercial got us enough cash to bring back the spider pit and add some extra things. So back to the point. Our mystery pony today is....."
The black curtain lifted up to reveal Photo Finish. Again the fake crowd cheered and she smiled.
"It's a pleasure to be here!" She said excitedly.
A ding sounded throughout the room, cutting off Twilight's response. The screen came out to show a picture of a ripped up dress. Photo Finish gave a small gasp.
"It's time for your first challenge. The hall of nightmares! Aooooooooooo!"
The screen turned black, then lit up to show a stage full of ripped up dresses. Photo Finish gasped in horror when she saw a replica of her dress all ripped up. She looked to her left to see a coffee stain on a beautiful silk dress. She started to cry when she saw it was made of vintage silk. Ahead of her was a mirror. She walked up to it and screamed, seeing her own reflection. It was disoriented, making her look absolutely ugly. She had warts everywhere and her dress was make of cobwebs and spiders. The fake crowd roared with laughter. A voice came form the speakers.
"To win this challenge, you have to tell yourself that you're beautiful. And you have to mean it." Twilight called through the speakers.
Photo Finish took a deep gulp, wishing for the sight in the mirror to disappear. She sighed, knowing that this wasn't her true self. She looked in the mirror again and focused on her eyes.
"I'm very beautiful."
The screen blacked out, switching back to its original setting. Twilight was smiling. Photo Finish looked at herself and sighed, relieved to find herself normal again.
"Congratulations, you've won the first challenge."
Another ding sounded, causing Photo Finish to jump in fear. The screen popped out again, showing a picture of Pinkie Pie. She cocked her head in confusion. Twilight smiled and used her magic to press a small button on her chair. Pinkie Pie appeared on the stage.
"All you have to do in this challenge is survive Pinkie's annoying song. If you don't you'll lose your chance at the big prize and receive a dip in our new and improved spider pit, now complete with snakes."
Pinkie opened up her mouth and began her song.
"Oh.....when your feeling really sad, I can help you feel glad, by getting you some cupcakes! Because we are always best friends, and we'll stick together till the end, because that's how we'll avoid the snakes!"
Photo Finish took a deep breath, forcing herself to brace for the next set of lyrics.
"And don't forget I won't let you fell down, because I don't want to see you froooooown....., oh never forget thaaaaat! The end!" She exclaimed.
The screen was covered by smoke that quickly cleared. Pinkie was nowhere insight, but Photo Finish was still bracing herself in case she was hidden somewhere. Twilight clapped her hooves, apparently happy with the results of Pinkie's song. Rarity ran onto the stage towards her.
"Twilight, dear, we have to put on another commercial."
"Is it as bad as the last one?"
"Nope, it's actually a lot better!" The white unicorn said happily.
Twilight sighed and used her magic to bring up the commercial. It had a box of cookies on it, though the box had the picture of a muffin on it.
"Buy Muffin Cookies, they're delicious! Muffin Cookies are not responsible for any sudden sickness or allergic reactions such as: bloating, puffiness, chicken pox, cutie pox, or sudden rashes. Muffin Cookies are made of raw muffin batter."
Derpy appeared on the screen with a big smile on her face.
"They're muffalicious!" She said.
The screen faded and went back to the main set. Twilight was shaking her head while Photo Finish laughed.
"What a dumb word to use, don't you think Photo Finish?"
"She would make a great model for my new line." The fashion pony said, clearly not listening to her.
A loud ding sounded. The screen popped up and showed the picture of a dog howling at the moon.
"Time for the final challenge, singing with the dogs. If you pass you'll get to do the prize challenge, but if you fail.....well you know what happens then."
A moon came down on a string and Applejack's dog, Winona, came out. She started howling at it, so Photo Finish joined in. At first it was easy, starting with simple beats, but then it started to speed up. Finally the dog stopped, leaving her out of breath. Twilight giggled and sent Winona backstage.
"You've won the final challenge, but now it's time for the super challenge. It's all or nothing now." She said with a smile.
Three ponies came onto the stage and set up some chairs. Once they all took a seat Twilight turned to Photo Finish.
"You have to make a dress in ten minutes, and our three judges: Rarity, Fluttershy, and Applejack, will judge it. If you get at least three eights then you'll get the ultimate prize."
Photo Finish looked over to her right to see fabric and a plastic model. She got straight to work, sewing things together and shaping the dress. She smiled when she found a sheet of glittery rainbow fabric. Once she was done she showed the fabric to the judges. They all studied the dress with criticizing eyes. When they were done they each held up a number: eight, nine, and eight. A puff of smoke covered the judges and they disappeared.
"You've won the special prize! And your prize is.....,"
Twilight lifted up a curtain to reveal one bit. Photo Finish help back a growl of anger. She gave the unicorn a death stare.
"I did all this, for one measly bit?"
"Yep, that's the what you get for not reading the contract fully. Ponies should really read that section on prize possibilities. Well I'll see you all next time on Random Events!"
The anthem played and the screen went black, though you could hear the two ponies fighting in the background and the smack of a hoof against someones skull.

Welcome to a new episode of Random Events. There is a slight pause in the episode for it is a shorter one, due to haste because of an upcoming vacation. We do apologize for the short episode, but soon we will be back on track. Today's mystery guest is a humorous girl with a big attitude. We hope you enjoy this episode of Random Events!
Note: Twilight Sparkle is not here due to injury, so Pinkie will be the host this episode. Also the video intervention is owned by our producer (me) so it has full permission to be used in this episode.
Episode Four
Bright lights flash, and a symbol of Equestria appears on the screen. Black curtains open up to reveal a green chair and a purple sofa. Pinkie Pie sat in the chair, while our mystery guest was hidden by a curtain. Pinkie smiled as the screen and a fake applause came.
"Good day everypony! Are you ready for another episode of Random Events? Our mystery guest today is....."
The curtain lifts up to reveal Gilda the griffin. She had her usual scowl on her face as she glared at the pink earth pony.
"Ya, hi."
"So how's it feel to be back in Ponyville, Gilda?"
"Oh, just swell," She said with a note of sarcasm, "Where's Twilight?"
"She had an injury in the last episode, so she had to sit this one out."
A ding sounded and a large screen appeared. It had the picture of a single song note, though this one had a chat box around it. Pinkie gave a large smile at the sight and turned to face Gilda. The griffin bit her tongue, not wanting to do a loud roar on television with so many people watching.
"For your first challenge, you have to hold a conversation with me."
"That doesn't sound so hard."
"But every time you speak, you have to sing the words."
"Ugh, fine!"
"Great, let's begin. How are you?"
"Good."
Gilda had a rusty voice, probably because she never sang.
"What do you want to do today?"
"Punch you in the face!"
"Oh isn't that nice."
"I wish you would just shut up you pink nuisance!" She finished, not even bothering to finish the rest.
The fake crowd booed her so loud, nothing else could be heard. Pinkie turned it off and shook her head in disappointment. Gilda just gave her a death glare.
"You cracked at the first challenge silly. Now you can't win the grand prize."
Another ding sounded and the screen popped up. It had the picture of a cat fighting a dog. Gilda felt confused, but it was just like Pinkie to explain everything.''
"You have to fight a rabid dog to win!"
"But I lost the first challenge."
"It doesn't matter," She said with a laugh.
The screen flashed white, then cleared up to reveal Gilda facing a crazy looking pooch. She gave a quick hiss at it, but it ignored her and leaped. She clawed it with her talons, but barely hit it's side. It barked and went to bite her on the leg, but she dodged it just in time. She saw a kennel on one side of the stage. She leaped for it, attracting the dog with her. It ended up running into the kennel. Gilda shut it quickly and the screen flashed. It went back to it's original setting.
"Okay Gilda, now you can have a break since we need to put up a commercial."
A giant cat appeared on the screen and meowed. It was looking at a fish floating in the air.
"Don't give me chicken, or even liver. Just get me some fish for dinner!" Sang the cat.
That was the end of the commercial. Gilda was astonished, not believing that was the whole commercial. Pinkie just giggled and bounced around, singing the annoying tune. She stopped for a second and grabbed a clock out of nowhere.
"Oh wow, this is a short episode. Time we took a break to do something extra. Please stand by as we play this video."
"That was, uh....." Gilda began, lost for words.
A ding sounded, signalling the final event. The screen appeared, showing the picture of a toxic sign. The fake crowd did a laugh is the griffin fell over.
"It's time for you to take a jump in the toxic waste!"
"No, no please! I, I'll do anything!"
Pinkie ignored her and ejected the seat. Gilda fell into the toxic waste at top speed. She screamed as it took off all her feathers, making it burn like fire. She was only in there for a few minutes, but she was already totally balled. Pinkie laughed, and so did the fake crowd. The griffin did her lion roar so loud that it cracked the screen.
"That's it for today folks." Said Pinkie.
The screen faded black, the anthem playing in the background.

Episode Five
The curtains pull back, while the anthem of Ponyville plays in the background. Sitting in the green chair is non other than.....Twilight Sparkle. The mystery guest is sitting on a purple love seat, a black curtain covering their face. Twilight smiles at the screen while the fake crowd cheers in the background.
"Welcome back to a new episode of Random Events. Our mystery guest today is....."
The curtain lifts up to reveal a red pegasus. She had silver in her mane, at the end of her muzzle, and at the tip of her wings. She had a quill and ink as her cutie mark. On the ink bottle was an hourglass. She seemed a bit on edge, but Twilight just ignored it.
"Quill Master! So, how are you doing today?"
"Fine, though I suppose I won't be for long."
Twilight flinched a bit, but tried to get back on track.
"So how does it feel to be on TV?"
"I don't really care about....."
A loud ding sounded and a screen popped out. It had the picture of a cat on there. Of course, Quill Master was confused, but Twilight was prepared.
"Well, Quill Master, or Quill. Mind if I call ya Quill? Of course not. So you have to act like a cat, and get through all the cat related tests we have for you."
"That doesn't seem so hard."
The purple unicorn's horn glowed. Suddenly, Quill Master was in a cat suit, with a purple collar around her neck saying; Quill. The first test was for her to meow until she got food. The pegasus rolled her eyes, but went along so she could win the prize.
"Meow, meow, meow."
A can of tuna appeared, and she guessed what she had to do next. She walked over to the can and gave it a small sniff, recoiling at the stench. Reluctantly, she started to eat it. After lots of gagging and hold her breath, she ate the last bite. The next challenge was for her to play with a ball of yarn. When she was done playing like a five year old, the fake crowd clapped and the screen faded. When it lit up again, she was back to her normal self.
Quill Master had a scowl on her face, clearly unhappy with the challenge. Twilight had a big smile on her face. Another ding sounded and the screen popped out. It had the picture of a snake on it.
"Oh my gosh! I hate snakes!" screamed the pegasus.
"Well, then this is gonna suck for you! In this challenge, you have to walk through the hall of snakes. If you fail this challenge, then you have to go into the spider pit."
The screen flashed white. When it cleared up, Quill Master was in a long corridor. Snakes were everywhere, some trying to slither up the walls and others coiling up. She started to walk forward, seeing door on the far end. A snake started to slither towards her. She screamed and flapped her wings, lifting off into the air. She flew towards the door and reached it in a matter of seconds. The handle had a snake on it. She used the edge of her hoof to open the door, a disgusted look on her face. As it opened, a bucket of spiders fell on her. She screamed and ran onto the stage, shaking her mane of any leftover arachnids.
"Nice, you won this challenge!"
"I…..hate…..you!"
"Well, since we don't have time for another contest, this is it! So, since you've won, you've won the prize! The prize is…………a pet snake!"
Quill Master screamed again, punched Twilight, and ran offstage. The ending them plays, the curtain covers the stage, and the show ends.
Will the show come back after all, will it get a new budget to work with? We all know we hate Crazy Events, so if you want it back, leave comments so the show will return to once a week, every week!
