Sunset Shimmer makes her return to Equestria, except it isn't the one that Twilight and her friends know!
Sunset Shimmer is revealed to have returned but is confused and not really knowing about the events of "Equestria Girls Remake". Twilight realize that this pony is from the human version and with no way to get back for 2.5 years, the new Sunset Shimmer must learn to live in the new world. Also in a sub-plot, Lorcan goes on a mission for Celestia but has some trouble along the way.
