The dark mare sighed, summoning her spear. She stepped into an extremely shallow puddle, swinging the weapon fiercely. The water splashed up to the base of her tail as she leapt about in an imaginary battle. "Now, now," a voice sounded from behind her, "It's no fun to fight like that." Her head whipped around to see a tall, muscular alicorn. His white coat and multi-colored mane were silky but scars parted the fur. Prince Diamond Shield. The princess blew her now drooping mane out of her face, "Oh, it's just you. And I'm fine the way I am." The stallion laughed, making his twin halberds appear out of thin air. Without warning he snapped into action. He swung, barely missing her mane. A translucent lock dropped onto the ground but her mane fixed itself instantly. "Armor," he said creating his own platinum covering. Dreamscape panicked and summoned silver armor while swinging her spear. Diamond kicked out his legs, knocking over her and she recoiled with a sweep of her spear. The alicorn mare did a backflip over the other alicorn. She bucked the stallion's large but handsome face, not caring is she hurt his looks or not. He rubbed it for a split second then swung his halberds at her on either side. They clanged off of her armor but a thin cut was left at the base of her right wing. She winced but continued the fight. The stick of her spear was laid across the stallion's knees and she punched the side of his chin. He was stunned for a moment, long enough for her to knock him over. The deep blue pony pinned Diamond with the spear levitating at his neck. He stayed silent, still as a rock. "Looks like I win~" Dreamscape chimed, "I beat the head of the g-" She was cut of by axes on her neck. Her sparring partner chuckled, flipped her over with a sudden rush of his wings and bucking hind legs. The hook of his weapons were hooked on the mare's wings. She hissed, spinning around to latch her fangs onto his leg. A yell escaped Diamond's throat when blood began welling up on his flank. Both of them were now panting. The princess swung the spear at his face, leaving a large bloody gash. In recoil he swung the axes along her left legs. They paused for a moment but Dreamscape shot into his belly with a snarl. He kicked her back in the same spot then smashed her head against the ground with a hit of the end of his halberd. The blade rested on his armored shoulder. His other axe sat on the mare's unarmored leg. Just as a smirk appeared on his face the alicorn princess put her spearhead on his neck. Diamond relaxed so his partner could get back up. The stallion now had a bruise on the left side of his chin, a tiny slit on the side of his neck, bites on his flank, a thick cut on his cheek, and another cut on the front of his neck. On the other hoof, Dreamscape had many bruises, a cut on her wing, tiny slits on either side of her neck, gashes all over her legs, a bloodied mark on the side of her head, gashes on the tops of her wings, and a thin cut on her belly, not doing much. Diamond could see a concerned look on the princesses' face and responded, "Don't worry. I can fix it. If you want you can talk to Casa." A friendly nod was given by Dreamscape. They crossed horns, removing the other's armor and weapon. Said items were teleported to the owner's storage. The royalty backed away, each bowing before flying away.
