Chapter I, Meeting The 2 Sisters Again
Equestria...The land of the ponies. So beautiful, delicate but sometimes so dangerous...
I didn't even remember why i left, maybe it was all the problems caused by me.
Maybe i couldn't bare the guilt anymore.
Maybe, its because my love for her is too strong. That's right, i experienced the "Love on first sight" thing
I'll tell you who she is later, keep wondering about it.
As you know, my name is Midnight Sky, my friends call me Sky. But i don't have many friends, i just like to hangout in the night.
I watch the city as i fly swiftly in the skies at night, not worrying that i'll fall from sleepiness
My mom was Sunset Dust and my dad was Moonlit Night.
They were gossiped as the ponies of the night. My mom was a unicorn and my dad was a pegasus. they were still alive when i went through the changes of having both wings and a horn. I still remembered their face when they saw me came home with both wings and a horn because when i left, i only had wings to travel with. They were really proud of me, always asking questions of how did i even become an alicorn.
I remember seeing Twilight walking in the Everfree forest with her little dragon friend, Spike, when it was about 35 minutes to sunrise. She seems to be lost, looking a bit desperate. I landed infront of her and i seem to be a threat to her, appearing suddenly in the dark night
Spike tried to protect her but of course she put up her own defenses, her horn charged up, ready to attack me
"WAIT! I'm not going to hurt you!" I shouted, afraid that she'll take a first charge. I could use my magic, but i might overpower her.
I'd step out of the darkness, my dark blue mane swaying from the winds.
"Who are you? and how are you even an alicorn?" She asked me, her face confused
and No, she isn't the pony i'm in love with, in case you're asking
"I can't explain it now, but i can show you the way out" I smiled at her, trying to show im a friendly alicorn. although Spike didn't really trust me yet.
"Really? Please do help us" Her eyes seem to lit up, hearing that i can help them out of the forest.
I nodded and used my magic to lift them up and drop them on my back
"Hold on you two, i don't want you both getting hurt" Twilight would hold on to my mane, spike sitting behind her, his claws holding her short mane.
I stretched out my wings, and flied up, going into the skies. I took them up near the clouds, both of them can see the amazing sight of the night. I took them down near the fountain of the 2 sisters, the streets empty.
I tucked in my wings, and used my magic to help them get down.
"Thank you for helping us" Spike would say it while looking to the ground, fiddling with his claws
"Your welcome, maybe ill see you both again someday" I smiled, stretched out my wings and rushed into the air, flying across the moon.
That's when i bumped into...Princess Celestia
No, she isn't the pony i said i loved either.
Good thing both of us kept our balance so we didn't plummet down onto the ground.
"Your Highness! I am truly sorry for my mistake, i wasn't looking where i was going" My front hoof holding my head, the impact causing my head to hurt a little.
"Thank you for the apologize, what are you even doing..." Princess Celestia stopped when she held up her head and looked at me
"Princess Celestia, are you alright?" I asked, because she seemed surprise to see me again.
"Midnight...how....what...why?" She stammered, turns out she really IS surprised
"I'll explain later, now you must raise the sun, your highness". Remembering me could have made her forgot about what she is supposed to do.
"Yes, yes of course" She remembered her duties and raised the sun while she hovered, same as me
When the sun has fully risen, the town started to come alive again
"Midnight, i think you should come to the palace, you have much to catch up with, maybe even Luna..."
Hearing Luna's name, i just quickly nodded and said "Yes"
That's right, I love Luna even though she sees me as a friend.
Why wouldn't i? Why wouldn't anyone?
I followed Celestia back to the palace, landing smoothly on one of the balconies.
As we walked into the halls, Celestia started telling stories about what happened in Equestria recently.
"Well, Discord is gone, Chrysalis and Sombra have been taken care of and the rest are pretty much great"
"Well, that's nice. Your Highness, may i see Princess Luna?" I asked
"No need for formality to the royal family, Midnight. You are like our family" She smiled at me and i nodded.
"You may visit her in her quarters, just follow the blue carpets on forward and Luna's quarters will be on the end of the hall" She pointed her hoof to the path with night blue carpet.
"Thank you...Celestia" I smiled, gave a small bow then i went off, following the blue carpet.
Almost reaching the end, i can see a blue door with black corners, a moon shape on the middle of the door. Once i reached the door, i knocked, waiting for an answer.
"Come in, please" She answered. I opened the door, taking a step into the room. She was writing on a scroll.
"Hello again, Luna" i flashed a smile at her. She looked up and saw me, really surprised to see me alive and an Alicorn
"Midnight....how could you survive that blast...?" She asked, her frown turning into a relieved smile
"Its a long story, ill tell you that later"
I smiled at her then, still relieved that i survived as well.
