Celestia is dead, gone, executed. Now the ruler is known as the Empress. Nopony has ever seen her. Nopony has ever met her. Nopony has ever talked to her. But EVERYPONY knows her. Nopony knows who she really is, though. Some say she's Luna turned Nightmare. Others say it's Queen Chrysalis.
She divided up Equestria into Classes. The Earth Class, Sky Class, Night Class, Magic Class, and Special Class.
Earth Ponies are the Earth Class, Pegasi are the Sky Class, Thestrals are the Night Class, Unicorns are the Magic Class, and Alicorns are the Special Class.
She also has rules. you can only marry inside your own class. You can't even have friends in a different class. And NEVER break a rule.
Well, that is just what I did.
I woke up one morning because of a loud BANG. I jumped out of bed and noticed a young Pegasus mare about my age had crashed through my window.
"Oh!" I cried.
She looked up at me. "Hi, there! My names Flash!"
I just stared at her. She reminded me of myself and I just couldn't look away. "You shouldn't be here!" I cried. "This is the Magic Class!"
"I know!" Flash chirped, grinning.
I just gawked at her. "You do realize that you are breaking two rules right now, right?"
She rolled her eyes at me. "Of course I know that I am breaking rules. Everypony knows the only way you can have any contact with another class is if your kin is in a different class than you."
"So," I said "you're saying you have unicorn kin?"
She stared at me like I was crazy. "No, I just crashed. I mean, it isn't even a visiting day," she said. "So, you know my name, but I never caught yours."
"My name's Spark, and I don't want to get in trouble for breaking the rules, so you'd best be going." I then attempted to push her back out my window, but she held her ground.
