When Equestria is attacked by the griffon and minotaur nations, Princess Twilight is charged with finding a solution. She turns to the two most gifted unicorn mages in Equestria. Sunset Shimmer and Trixie Lulamoon, together they cast a spell that will call champions to assist them in fighting for their embattled nation.

The ones they get are a human from a magically rich world and an alien from another universe.
