Coffee, something you drink in the morning. Something you drink to keep yourself awake. Pinkie has always known that but, she doesn't know what it tastes like.....

It was a day like any other for Pinkie. Wake up, get ready, eat breakfast, work, rest, play, work, sleep. While working, she wondered about coffee. She's been thinking about it lately. Wondering why ponies keep it away from her. She knows it has something in it that she will enjoy. So, why does everypony keep it away? But, today, she will find out how it tastes like and why she has to keep a distance.

"Mrs. Cake, I'm going on my break!"

"Ok, Pinkie! Don't forget to come back!"

"I won't!" Pinkie shouted back.

"Lalala!"

ZOOM!

"Dashie! Hey, Dashie! Wait up!"

"You're it!" Pinkie shouted to Dashie as they ran around Ponyville Park.

"Nope, you're it!"Dash shouted back.

"But, Dashieeeeeee!"Pinkie whined.

"Ugh, fine, I'm it." Dash rolled her eyes.

"Okay! But first," Pinkie started, "let's get something to drink! I'm tired!"

Dash flew over to Pinkie and shook her, "WHAT DID YOU DO TO THE REAL PINKIE?! REAL PINKIE NEVER GETS TIRED!"

"I AM THE REAAALLL PINKIEEEEE!"

"Prove it." Dash stared deep into Pinkie's eyes.

One hour of Pinkie related questions later...

"Ok, yeah, you're Pinkie." Dash confirmed.

"I told ya! C'mon, Rainbow, let's go!"

"...no! No coffee!"

"But, Dashieeeeeee!" Pinkie said for the second time that day.

"No! It's too much for you!"

"Why? Why is it too much for me? Why?"

"Um, uh, well..." Dash started, "I can't tell you!"

"Why not?"

"'Cuz, I dunno. I felt like saying that you can't have some!" Dash smirked.

"So, ohmigosh, do you mean.....?"

"Oh, I mean it."

"...I CAN HAVE COFFEE?!" Pinkie's mouth was agape.

"Two coffees please." Dash told the cashier.

"That'll be six bits."

Dash paid for the coffee and went over to Pinkie who was waiting for Dash outside.

"Here ya go, Pinkie."

"Thanks, Dashie! Now, I can finally find out what coffee tastes like!"

"Coffees up!" Dash said, lifting her coffee.

"Coffees up." Pinkie copied Dash.

"Now, LET'S CHUG IT DOWN!"

"OK!"

Pinkie lifted her cup to her mouth and...

"I CAN SEE EVERYTHING!" Pinkie exclaimed, bouncing up and down.

"You like it?"

"YESILOVEIT! THANKSFORBUYINGITDASHIE!"

This seems a liiitttlleee bit too much Pinkie... Dash thought.

"Um, are you ok?" Dash asked, concerned.

"OK?! I'M BETTERTHANOK!"

"Uh-huh..."

"GETYOURDANCEON! DUNDUNDUNDUNDUN! GETYOURDANCE ON! THEEEEN YOU WRIGGLE LIKE A WORM!"

"MAKE IT STOP! SWEET CELESTIA, MAKE IT STOP!" Dash shouted, covering her ears with her hooves.

Idea!

"TWILIGHT!"

"LET ME IN! PLEASE!"

"Wait, I'll be there!"

"NO, NOW! SHE'S GETTING CLOSER!"

Suddenly, the door opened and Dash fell face-first into Twilight's house.

A light blue pegasus slammed the door closed and bent down to Rainbow.

"Hey, dude, what happened?"

"Lightning Striker, Twilight, why do you keep coffee away from Pinkie?"

Lightning Striker and Twilight's eyes widened, "Rainbow don't tell us you..."

Rainbow gave an awkward smile, "Heh..."

"THE WORLD IS GONNA END! THE END IS NEAR! THE END IS NEAR!" Lightning Striker started panicking and shouting.

"No, it's not, Light."

"Really? Oh, good, for a second there I thou-"

A pink hoof crashing through the wall stopped Lightning from finishing her sentence.

"GAH!" Lightning and Dash jumped, causing them to get stuck onto the roof of the library, their fur sticking up like a cat.

"SHE'S HERE!" Lightning and Rainbow shouted and started running around the library like maniacs.

They both stopped when a hoof slapped them in the face.

"Ow!" They both said at the same time.

"You gave me an ouchie!" Lightning whined.

"Ugh, listen Dash and Light, I have an idea..."

"HEY, DASHIE, YOU IN THERE?!"

"Nope! Please leave a message after the beep! Beep!"

Lightning giggled at what Dash said but then broke out laughing.

Rainbow and Twilight slapped their hooves onto Light's mouth and she followed by putting both hooves over theirs.

Silence. That's all they heard.

"Dashieeeee....."

Gulp.

"Dashieeeeee...."

Sweet Celestia help us...

"Where are you....."

Gotta... run...

"Dashieee.... guess what...."

Crud.

"I.... I FOUND YA!"

"AHHHH!" Lightning and Dash screamed, racing to the door.

"Pinkie!"

Pinkie looked at Twilight, who was flying fast towards her.

CLANG!

Twilight tackled Pinkie to the ground and held her down with magic.

"Stay... STILL!"

"RAAAWWWWWRRRRRR!"

Pinkie struggled to get out of Twilight's grip, making sounds, kicking, and trying to spit on Twilight's horn.

"Dash! Lightning! Get me some water!"

Lightning seemed confused, "Now? At a time like this?! YOU'RE CRAY-CRAY, TWILIGHT! GO GET A CHECKUP! ALSO, HOW IS WATER SUPPOSED TO WORK?!"

"IT'LL CALM HER DOWN, (I hope...) SINCE IT HAS NO SUGAR!"

"Oh, really? I forgot!" Lightning Striker smiled.

Dash slapped Lightning and shook her, "GETTHEWATER!"

"M'hk. Fine!" Light whined and walked out the room.

A couple seconds later, she came back with a glass of water.

"Gimme!" Twilight shouted.

Lightning tossed it to Twilight, who was getting tired of holding Pinkie down.

"DRINK IT!"

"Nu." Pinkie closed her mouth shut tightly.

"Light, Dash! Hold her mouth open!"

"BUT SHE'S SCARYYYYYYYEEEEEE!!!!" whined Lightning.

"WELL, TOO BAD!"

Lightning and Dash held Pinkie's mouth open and closed their eyes tightly, due to Pinkie being really strong right now.

"DO IT NOW, TWI! DO IT... NOW!" Shouted Lightning.

Twilight poured the water into Pinkie's mouth and everypony started calming down.

Lightning Striker and Rainbow let go of Pinkie but still stayed a bit by Pinkie, in case she went hyper again.

"Ugh, Twilight?" Pinkie rubbed her eyes, now that she was free.

"Pinkie...?"

"What just happened? I can't remember anything..." Pinkie groaned.

With Lightning and Dash...

"Did Pinkie just go high?" Dash whispered to Light.

"Yup...."

Back with Twilight and Pinkie....

"Well...." Twilight started.

"Oh... it was the coffee, wasn't it?"

"Yeeeeaaah...."
