Boredom

Moonlight Chaos slowly walked across the room. Back and forth, back and forth. The same thing each time, lifting up one hoof seemed to take a million years. Her head faced the floor, her mane was a mess, and her eyes wanted to close. She had not been working hard at all yet she yearned for something to do. At last she finally gave up and dropped to the floor making a loud thud as she hit the ground. Then she heard a knock on her door, she knew who it was. "Come in." She said in a quiet voice. The door quickly opened and a familiar sight met with her eyes. It was Discord, he slowly walked into the room and when he got close enough to Moonlight he fell onto the floor next to her. "I take it that your bored too?" He asked in a flat voice. Moonlight nodded and closed her eyes. "There's nothing to do, and if I don't find something I'll probably just lay here until my wings and horn fall off." Discord sighed. "Too late." His wings quickly separated from his body and fell next to him. Followed by both his horns which popped off and flew into the air. Moonlight Chaos groaned. "I'm dying Discord, just dying." Discord blinked slowly. "I am too." They both sighed at the same time. "I wish they were still here." Moonlight said in a sad tone. Discord knew who she was talking about. Stellaluna, Screwball and Disharmony their son and two daughters. About a month ago Disharmony was the only one that was still with them, but he had gotten married and started his own family like his sisters. With all three of them around there was always something going on. But now it seemed that nothing was happening any more. All three of them visited often, but it wasn't the same anymore. "I do too." Discord said, then he let out a long groan. "Why don't you go look in one of your books for something?" Moonlight rolled her eyes. "I'm too bored. Besides I don't want to get up." Discord smiled slightly. "I know how you feel." Discord glanced around the room trying to find something that could end this boredom. Inside his head he was labeling everything he saw. Boring, boring, boring, SUPER BORING, no, not doing, not in a million years, boring, boring, NO, really boring, boring, I don't even want to know what THAT is..... Discord was about to give up when he found something in the corner of the room. On one of the shelves something sticking out of one of Moonlight's books. It looked like a picture, on one of the corners of the part he could see there was writing. The Revenge Game Discord became very interested. "Oh, what's this?" Moonlight turned towards him. "What?" Discord got up and flew towards the book. Moonlight then noticed that Discord's wings and horns were back. Discord pulled the book out and turned to the page with the picture in it. Discord pulled the picture out and showed it to her. "I think I found our ticket to no more boredom."

The picture looked very complicated, but it actually was very basic. There was a large arena with markings on the ground. On each side their were groups of ponies. "I've seen this book before, it has a lot of old games that ponies used to play." Moonlight said. Discord turned to her. "And you didn't tell me while we were on the ground complaining about being bored?" Moonlight smiled nervously. "Sorry, but we were bored! I still am, I can't think when I'm bored." Discord sighed. "Good point." Moonlight glared at the picture. "The Revenge Game, I've seen this page before. Most of the time it was used to play when ponies wanted to settle an argument or when.......well when ponies needed to get revenge." Discord nodded. "So, how do you play exactly?" Moonlight sighed. "Well, you could give me the book first, or you could read what's on the page!" Discord smiled. "Right.....can you read it for me? I'm too bored." Moonlight grabbed the book from him. "More like too lazy......" She said to herself. Discord's ears perked up. "What was that?" Moonlight's eyes widened. "Nothing! It says that there has to be two teams, each player on each team battles against each other using their powers, or abilities. Which ever team get's weakened enough first and surrenders, loses. The winning team gets to keep what they argued for." Discord began to yawn. "You are getting so complicated." Moonlight sighed. "It's what the book says, not me! Basically if two ponies were arguing over.........let's say a piece of land. They would play The Revenge Game and whoever won would get to keep the land. The loser would get nothing." Discord looked shocked. "Ouch......" Moonlight put a hoof to her head. "My head hurts." Discord laughed. "Making sense hurts, I know." Moonlight looked at the picture. "It looks fun, but I don't know of anyone that I want to get revenge on." Discord gave her a devious smile. "We don't have to follow the rules exactly...." Moonlight slowly turned towards him. "I'm listening...." Discord wrapped his paw around her. "For starters I can think of two someponies who we can play against. And I know that you and I are not the only one's who have issues with them." Moonlight returned the smile. "Let's do it. Celestia and Luna are going to have a lot of trouble. This is going to be SO much fun." Discord handed her the book. "I'll get Luna and Celestia, and you'll get the others?" Moonlight nodded. "Deal."

It wasn't very hard for Discord to get Luna and Celestia. They were both still statues, standing in the middle of the Everfree Forest. "Hello, Celestia." Discord said to the statue with a sly grin. Discord snapped his fingers and the statues began to crack. Before Discord and Moonlight had given them a dark side but it had not worked out as they had planned, so now Discord had two evils waiting. Nightmare Moon and Solar Flare, the statues broke apart and the two glared at each other. "Well, well, what do we have here?" Nightmare Moon and Solar Flare turned towards Discord. When they saw him they jumped up and aimed their horns at him. Discord put his claw up. "Ah, ah, ah! I wouldn't do that if I were you!" Then Discord took his paw and seperated Nightmare Moon from Princess Luna. Solar Flare looked scared, then Discord seperated her from Celestia. Discord took the dark power and sealed it away. It was not needed now, Celestia and Luna got up and looked at each other. Then they glared at Discord. "Discord! Why are you here? What do you want?" Celestia demanded. Discord shook his head. "Celestia! Where are your manners?" Luna stepped in front of her sister. "Enough of your games, what do you want from us?" Discord smiled. "We are going to play a little game! Have some fun!" Luna and Celestia looked scared. "What are you talking about?" Celestia asked. Discord walked between the two. "You two are going to play The Chaos Game!" Celestia looked confused. "Don't you mean...........The Revenge Game?" Discord turned to Celestia. "No, I mean The Chaos Game! It's like The Revenge Game though! You are going against me, my wife, and a few friends of ours!" Luna looked very worried. "Wait... your.......what? YOUR WIFE? You are.......married?" Discord nodded. "Yes! Yes! I'm married, SURPRISE! I'll bet you didn't see that coming!" Celestia stared at him in awe. "To who? Discord! How could you force an an innocent mare to marry someone like you?" Discord shook his head in reply. "Actually no, she loved me for who I am. She married me willingly, she actually cares about me Celestia. She WANTED to marry me." Celestia gasped she tried to speak but all she could do was whisper. "Who?........." Discord smirked. "Remember that pony you met before? Moonlight Chaos?" Luna and Celestia nodded. "The one with the blue coat, the Alicorn?" Luna asked. Discord nodded. "Yes! That one! Well, I am happy to tell you that we have been married for quite some time now, have had kids, and now their grown up and married as well!" Luna and Celestia gasped. "No, that's not true Discord! Your lying! Nobody could ever love someone like you! You had to have forced her! I don't believe you!" Celestia shouted. Discord sighed. "Fine, you'll see for yourself that I am in fact telling the truth, and then we can play our delightful little game! Doesn't that sound fun?" Luna stomped her hoof. "No! We aren't going anywhere!" Discord flew in front of their faces. He spoke in a calm but scary tone. "Listen to me, you can't do anything to me without your precious Elements of Harmony. I on the other hand can do the exact same thing to you two in an instant. If you don't cooperate I can easily fix that. Besides if you win The Chaos Game, Equestria is yours." Luna and Celestia perked up. "Is that so?" Celestia said. Discord smiled. "Oh I knew you two would want to play! This is going to be fun!" Just as Celestia and Luna were about to follow him, their horns vanished. "Just so you don't get any ideas." Discord said. He laughed and then flew into the sky. Celestia and Luna sighed, but opened their wings and followed him anyway.

Moonlight had two ponies to get. When Discord took over Equestria two others also came along. They made sure to stay out of Discord's way, but they both had small kingdoms of their own. One of them was Queen Chrysalis, the queen of the changelings. A creature that fed off of a pony's love. Changelings were usually not very friendly, and were very hostile creatures. The second was King Sombra, a powerful Unicorn King who ruled the Crystal Empire. He had enslaved all the Crystal Ponies and made the land into his dark crystal kingdom. Moonlight had seen King Sombra before, but she had not spoken with him yet. Since the Crystal Empire was closer Moonlight Chaos decided to go there to talk to King Sombra. She knew she have to be careful around both the Changeling Queen and the Unicorn King. Moonlight flapped her wings and flew towards the dark city of crystals. She past over many parts of Equestria, all of it was covered in chaos. It was such a beautiful sight it made Moonlight feel like crying. Finally she reached the gates of the empire. They were tall black crystals. It looked just like the rest of the empire. Dark, scary, and full of fear. Near the king's castle she saw many Crystal Ponies chained to each other. She found an entrance to the castle but it was blocked by two grey ponies. Moonlight took a deep breath and walked towards them. The spears they held blocked the entrance. "Who are you?" The guard on the left said. "I am Moonlight Chaos, I have come to speak with King Sombra." The guard on the right glared at her. "Why do you need to speak with our leader?" Moonlight turned to him. "Because I have news that King Sombra must hear." The guards did not look convinced. "Did he invite you here?" The guard on the left asked. Moonlight shook her head. "No, but......." The guard interrupted her. "Who do you think you are? You dare to come to us demanding to see King Sombra without an invatation, and claim that you have important news." Moonlight grew angry. " Who do you think YOU are! You are only guards of a great king. I have brought a message from Discord that the king needs to hear! And you are going to let me in." The guards looked shocked. "And do you have proof that you know Discord?" Moonlight gave them an angry glare. "Do you really want to do this the hard way?" The guards looked scared. Then one of them noticed the ring Moonlight was wearing. She had been telling the truth."Please, wait here a moment." Both guards walked in through the doors and left. They were gone for a while but returned shortly. "Moonlight Chaos, King Sombra will see you." Moonlight walked in through the doors to find a tall staircase. "Ah King Sombra and stairs. Never get's old." Moonlight said to herself as she walked up the long flight of stairs. When she got to the top she found a deep grey pony waiting. He had silver armor on his body with a red cape. His horn was red and curved slightly. Moonlight walked towards the pony and bowed. "King Sombra, it is an honor to meet you." Moonlight said in a sweet voice. The Unicorn King smiled. Even though he knew she was Discord's wife she still showed him respect. This made the Unicorn King very pleased. "Moonlight Chaos, it's been a while. You may get up my dear, I hear you have news for me, what is it?" Moonlight stood up. "Well sire, I'm sure you are aware of Celestia and Luna?" King Sombra nodded. "Indeed, those two have been a thorn in my side for quite some time." Moonlight continued. "Discord want's to put an end to their meddling once and for all." King Sombra seemed interested. "Go on......" Moonlight had only been with King Sombra for a few moments and she was already beginning to like him. "He is beginning a game, called The Chaos Game. It is quite similar to The Revenge Game, I'm sure you have heard of it?" The Unicorn King smiled. "One of my favorite games, I used to watch matches being held when I was younger." Moonlight could see she was getting his attention. "There is going to be a match held, Celestia and Luna will have to face some of the greatest threats to Equestria. And of course we couldn't possibly leave you out. After all I know you would like to give Celestia and Luna a piece of your mind. The winner keeps all, the loser get's nothing. So......are you in?" King Sombra called one of his guards. "Guard! Have someone keep my throne in good shape, I'll be gone for a while." Then he turned to Moonlight Chaos. "I'm in."

"Now we just need Queen Chrysalis." Moonlight said to King Sombra. "The Changeling queen? I've met her before, she is not persuaded very easily." King Sombra said. Moonlight turned to him. "Neither are you, but I convinced you anyway didn't I?" The king nodded. "I suppose, how did you two come up with this anyway?" Moonlight smiled. "Oh, we got bored." King Sombra looked surprised. "You were bored?" Moonlight nodded. "Yes, there was just nothing to do, so we decided to take it out on Luna and Celestia by hosting this little event." King Sombra smiled wickedly. "I hardly wait." Moonlight led the way until they came to the Changeling Forest. They found two changelings standing next to a large tree. "Let me handle this." King Sombra ordered. The two changelings glared at him. "King Sombra? What are you doing here? And who is this pony that you brought with you?" One changeling asked. King Sombra glared at them. "I am here to see Chrysalis. And you will not harm this pony I have brought with me, understand?" The changeling nodded. "Of course, you may see the Queen." King Sombra and Moonlight walked through. "They are weak minded, changelings. But I will admit they are good at disguise." King Sombra said. As they walked deeper into the forest, it grew darker and less and less changelings were around. Then they reached Queen Chrysalis. She was sitting on a throne,when she saw Sombra she smiled. "Ah, King Sombra! How delightful to see you." She stared at Moonlight. "I see you brought a little....... snack......." King Sombra shook his head. "No, she is not for you to drain the love out of her. Besides, she does not have much compared to the average pony." Queen Chrysalis frowned. "Fine, what are you doing here?" King Sombra smiled. "Discord is starting a version of The Revenge Game. We are playing against Luna and Celestia." Queen Chrysalis gave him a wicked smile. "Say no more, I'm in." She gently flew off her throne. "Let's go, this place is already boring to me." Moonlight sighed. "Finally! No more boredom."

The Changeling Queen

Queen Chrysalis flew over to her side of the arena. Luna and Celestia stayed on the other side. "This is going to be a very short game, and so much fun." Chrysalis whispered to herself. Meanwhile on the other side of the arena Celestia and Luna were worried. The two of them together were very strong but Queen Chrysalis was stronger. She fed off of love and could easily obtain more from every single pony watching. "Celestia!" Luna called. "Don't worry, we can win, the first match hasn't even started yet." Celestia nodded. "Right, the FIRST round." She said with worry. She could feel beads of sweat form. She looked around, she had to do this for everypony around her. Then she found Nightmare Moon and King Sombra. They were watching, and they seemed to be talking to each other. Then she found Discord. He was right next to Moonlight, they were both talking and laughing. Celestia kept her focus on Discord for a while. What was it about him that attracted Moonlight? She had said everything, but Celestia couldn't see why. After all the things he had done, after everyone he had hurt. Celestia watched as Discord took his claw and ran it down her back, gently moving his talons through her coat. She appeared so relaxed and comfortable next to him. Before this foolish game ended by the end of the week she was going to find out what was going on. Then she heard a loud noise, it was a horn, the game was starting. Celestia looked at Chrysalis, she scared Celestia. Slowly she closed her eyes. Then her horn began to glow.

Discord was watching everything. Though the game had not started yet he wanted to see what was going on. All of Moonlight's friends seemed to be heading towards their seats. Chocolate Pie was jumping with excitement. He looked at where they were sitting, Sombra had made it so Moonlights friends would sit in the bottom row with five seats. There were three more seats above them, they were slightly bigger then the first ones. And above that were two very large seats that almost looked like thrones. Then he realized that's where he would be sitting, with Moonlight. He turned around and touched her lightly. "You will never believe what I found....." Moonlight smiled. "What?" Discord turned her head towards the two throne like chairs. "That's where you and I will be sitting." Moonlight gasped. "Up there? With you?" Discord nodded. Moonlight jumped on him and hugged him. "You were right, I can't believe it." While Moonlight had her hooves around him Discord looked down. He saw Celestia and Luna, it looked as if Celestia was staring right at him. But why? Then he heard the sound of a horn. The game was starting. He watched as Sombra and Nightmare Moon walked towards their seats right above Moonlight's friends. Discord smiled. "The game is starting, shall we?" Moonlight gave him a sly grin. "We shall." The two of them began to laugh. When they got towards their spot Chocolate Pie turned towards Moonlight. "Hey Moonlight! Isn't this exciting? I can't believe it, and you get to sit right next to Discord! I can't wait until it's our turn to play! This is going to be so much fun!" Moonlight and Chocolate Pie shared a hoof bump then they both went to their seats. Discord glanced down again, it looked like Chrysalis was about to make an attack. Celestia's horn began to glow. She fired a solar beam which Chysalis was able to avoid. Chysalis aimed her horn at Celestia and caused a sticky substance to form at Celestia's hooves so she couldn't move. But Luna used her magic to get her sister free. The both of them flew into the air. "This just got very interesting." King Sombra said with a dark laugh. Celestia made the next move, she used her magic to make a bright light appear, blinding Queen Chysalis. Luna used her magic to strike her down, but the Changeling Queen got up. She fired a beam at Luna, but she missed and it headed towards the crowd of ponies. But instead of hitting them it hit an invisible shield and bounced towards the ground. Because the changelings had lined the ground with their cocoon grime the magic blast hit the ground and nothing happened. They were safe. This small battle went on for the first five minutes but things began to get a little more dangerous. Queen Chrysalis was going to end this. She used magic to trap Celestia. She was covered in green changeling slime. It was very sticky and hard to move in. Celestia was stuck, Luna knew she didn't have time to help her sister at the moment. She did the only thing she could think of. She used her magic to create a pitch black barrier so nobody could see anything. Luna flew around the dark trying to find her sister, then she could hear Celestia's voice. "Luna! Help me!" Luna flew towards the sound of her older sisters voice. When she found Celestia she was a out to get her out, but Celestia gave her a weird smile and her eyes began to glow green. "Oh, no." Luna said in a scared voice. Queen Chysalis laughed and then blasted Luna with her magic. Luna slid across the ground and found herself stuck. She let the dark barrier vanish to find her sister a few feet away from her. They had lost. Queen Chrysalis had won the first match. "And Queen Chrysalis wins!" Discord said in a very loud voice. Celestia and Luna watched in horror as hundreds of ponies began to cheer. Luna turned to Celestia. "Sister, are my ears deceiving me or does it sound like the ponies are.......cheering?" Celestia sighed. "They are Luna, I'm afraid they are." Luna tried to stomp her hoof but it was still stuck. "What kind of madness is this? What kind of spell has Discord placed on these ponies?" Celestia gave her sister a worried glare. "They aren't under a spell Luna." Queen Chrysalis walked towards them. "That was fun, I can't wait to do it again! Or I can watch King Sombra do the same." Queen Chrysalis let them go and returned to the others. Celestia and Luna sighed. There were still many others they had to defeat. They flew towards the others. Discord looked at them and laughed. "Chrysalis, you got them good!" King Sombra and Nightmare Moon began laughing as well. Celestia and Luna rolled their eyes. They began to walk away when Discord stopped them. "Where do you two think you are going? That was only the beginning! Besides you two might want to go to your room and get some rest, after all that!" Celestia turned towards him. "Our room?" Discord nodded. "Yes, King Sombra was nice enough to make one for you two as well. Besides we wouldn't want you to leave now would we?" Luna sighed. "Well were is it?" Discord smiled. "I'll show you. King Sombra do you mind showing everyone else to their rooms?" King Sombra nodded. "Very well." Discord turned to Moonlight. "Your coming with me." Moonlight smiled. "I think I can deal with that."

Discord took Celestia and Luna through the inner parts of the arena, finally he stopped at a door. "This is yours, try not to fight over it!" He opened the door to reveal a small room with two beds made of dark crystal. It wasn't much but at least it was big enough for the both of them. The two Alicorns walked into the bedroom. They shut the door and looked around. Celestia could hear Discord and Moonlight talking, then she heard them laughing and walking away. "Come Luna, we should get some rest." Luna nodded and slipped into one of the beds. Celestia got into the other one and shut the light off. Through a large window they could see a small stream of moonlight stream across the wall. After a while Luna had fallen asleep, but Celestia was still wide awake. She wanted to know what was going on between Discord and Moonlight Chaos. Slowly she slipped out of bed and flew out of the room. She found Discord standing in the middle of the hall. He was standing in front of a door. "What is he doing?" Celestia asked herself. Then the door opened and Moonlight Chaos walked out. "That took a while." Discord said. Moonlight nodded. "Sorry, Chocolate would not stop talking. Besides she's having everyone come into her room, she considers this a "super ginormous fun spectacular ultra large bestest sleepover ever " sooooooo....." Moonlight stopped. Discord laughed. "I get it. Now do you want me to show you our bedroom?" Moonlight nodded. "Yes!" Discord smiled and grabbed her hoof. They flew down the hall, Celestia quickly followed. They stopped at a large door. "Can you close your eyes for me?" Discord asked. Moonlight smiled. "Yes I can." Then she gently shut her eyes. How does she trust him? She's willing to do anything for him, why? Celestia wondered. She watched as Discord opened the door and pulled her inside. When Celestia saw the room she gasped. It was literally a smaller version of what Equestria looked like, it was a small world of chaos. Discord smiled. "Okay, you can open your eyes." Moonlight slowly opened her eyes and gasped. "Discord I love it! I love it! I love it! When did you do all this?" Discord pointed outside the door. "While you were talking with Miss Party Hard a while ago." Moonlight flew over to him. "It's just like our bedroom, only everything's in different places. I love it!" Discord laughed. "I can tell you've said "I love it" at least four or five times now." Celestia cringed. The room was a disaster! At least their bedroom was normal, well sort of. "I can't wait for tomorrow, King Sombra will be facing Celestia and Luna. Then Nightmare Moon, next all my friends.........." Discord continued. "Then me, and then you......." Moonlight looked confused. "I thought you were going last. You were going to finish it. Why me?" Discord wrapped his paw around her. "Because I love you, and I know you have the power to finish the game. I trust you." Moonlight looked at him. "Are you sure it has to be me, your stronger then me. You want to do this." Discord put his claw over her mouth. "Maybe I do, but let's get one thing straight. YOU are stronger then me, and I know you can finish it because I've seen you do it before. You were the one that helped Dark Chaos, you were the one who defeated Solar Flare and Nightmare Moon, and you were willing to marry Ink Illustration to save me, your family, and your friends. I have never met anyone that has been as brave as you. Trust me, my dear." Moonlight stared at Discord. "I trust you." Celestia could not believe what she had heard. Moonlight Chaos had helped change another pony, she had defeated Nightmare Moon and Solar Flare, and she had been willing to marry somepony else just to save Discord and her friends! This mare was beginning to scare her. The more and more she watched the more confused she was getting. That still did not explain anything, why did she love Discord and why was she so willing to do anything he told her. Then she watched as Discord began to tickle Moonlight. "I've got Moonlight!" Discord said. Moonlight began to laugh. "Discord everyone's going to wake up when they hear all this noise." Discord took Moonlight and tipped her upside down. "No they aren't these walls block out noise so can't hear anything! Not even your cries for help." Moonlight didn't look scared. "Oh like hanging me upside down is scary. Somepony help! I'm being held upside down by a silly Draconequus! Save me!" Discord looked her straight in the eye. "A silly Draconequus huh? Well let's see how silly that Draconequus really is!" Moonlight sighed. "You know sometimes I just want to turn you into a glass of chocolate milk, drink every last bit of you and finally be done with you." Discord smiled. "Not a bad idea........" He gave Moonlight a devious smile. Moonlight put her hoofs out. "Please don't! You can do anything but that!" Discord tried to think. "Anything........." Moonlight sighed as Discord let go of her leaving her hanging upside down. Discord finally turned to her. "Okay, I know what I'm going to do now." Moonlight stared at him. Discord snapped his fingers causing Moonlight to appear on the ground. He picked her up. "I want you to kiss me." Moonlight was surprised. "That's what you want me to do?" Discord nodded. Moonlight smiled and leaned towards him. Celestia couldn't believe this. She was letting him do anything to her and all he wanted was for her to kiss him! Celestia watched as the two broke apart. "I thought you were going to do something weird to me." Moonlight said. Discord shook his head. "No, I can't do anything to you. Your too perfect to change." Moonlight began to yawn. Discord looked down at her. "Are you tired?" Moonlight nodded. "A little." Discord flew over to the bed. "Then we should probably get some sleep. We have a big day tomorrow." Moonlight walked towards the bed and slid underneath the blankets. Discord laid down next to her. "Goodnight" Moonlight smiled. "Goodnight Discord." Celestia watched as the light's began to go out. For some reason Discord stayed up. He was just watching Moonlight sleep. After a half an hour went by Discord was still awake. He starting running his claw through Moonlight's hair. The light of the moon began to leak in through the window nearby. Discord looked towards the window and saw the moon. It's bright light glowed in the distance. He smiled and pulled his wife closer. "Sleep right my Queen of Chaos." Celestia decided she had stayed long enough. She quietly flew out of the window and into the night. She found the window to her bedroom. She opened the window and flew into her bed. My Queen of Chaos My Queen of Chaos My Queen of Chaos The last words she heard Discord say were stuck in her head. My Queen of Chaos My Queen of Chaos My Queen of Chaos Celestia realized he was right. He loved her. Moonlight Chaos was his Queen of Chaos, she belonged to him. But there was still that one remaining question. Why?

The King of Shadows

Celestia woke up slowly, the sun was not out yet but she was happy she had gotten up early. The game with King Sombra was supposed to begin before the sun was supposed to be up. Even though the sun and moon switched places at random times during the day Discord had to keep that under control for the game. By the time the game with King Sombra ended the sun would be up. Then tomorrow they would face Nightmare Moon just as the moon would be about to rise. The match with Queen Chrysalis took place at sunset. Each match would be at a different time of day or night. Celestia didn't know what time of day they would have to face Discord though she assumepd the night. They would have to face Moonlight's friends at noon. They would have to face Moonlight Chaos last. Luna woke up very quickly. Celestia turned to her sister. "How did you wake up so quickly?" Luna turned to her sister. "I know the night like you know the sun. I know when my night is about to end sister." Celestia sighed. "We might as well get up now. Besides everyone will wonder where we are." Luna nodded. The two got up and left their room. They found everyone waiting for them. Discord turned to Celestia. "May I speak to you for a moment.......alone." Celestia didn't know what was going on but she followed him anyway. When they were alone Celestia looked up at him. "What do you want Discord?" All she got was an angry glare. "You know exactly why I'm doing this Celestia. I know what you were doing last night. Spying on us, trying to her away from me." Celestia was shocked. "Discord I...." But Discord interrupted her. He got very close to her and began to talk in a frightening tone. "Listen to me, if you or your sister try to hurt her in anyway or threaten her, you will answer to me. I don't ever want to find you spying on us again, you've seen I love her. Stay away from her. Understand?" Celestia was too afraid to say anything. "Y-y-yes. I understand." Discord backed away from her. "Good. Tell your sister the same thing, or else she and I will have a little "talk" as well. You have been warned Celestia." Slowly Celestia backed away. She walked towards Luna. "How did he know?" Celestia asked herself. Luna saw her sister's terrified look. She grew very concerned. "Celestia, what on earth is wrong?" Celestia looked at her sister. "I can't tell you now, when we are in our room I'll tell you." Luna nodded. "Very well." Then they heard Moonlight Chaos. "The game between King Sombra and Celestia and Luna is going to start in about fifteen minutes. You can have about ten minutes to do what ever you want." Luna looked at Celestia. "Now you can tell me." Celestia sighed. "Come on Luna." They slowly made their way into their room. Luna locked the door and turned to her older sister. "Alright Celestia what are you hiding?" Celestia looked at Luna. "Last night I spied on Discord." Luna looked shocked. "You SPIED on him." Celestia nodded. "Yes, I wanted to see why he is so in love with that other pony Moonlight. They did things that never thought I would see Discord even attempt to do." Luna looked concerned. "Like what?" Celestia sighed. "He was treating her so nicely, he was still being himself and yet he did it in a way that seemed different. He had his paw around her almost the entire time." Luna nodded. "Was she resisting him?" Celestia shook her head. "Not even in the slightest way. She did anything he asked her to do, she trusts him more then I've ever seen anyone trust someone like that before. Even when it looked like he was going to do something awful to her." Luna nodded. "And did he?" Celestia looked confused. "No he didn't, not once. He played with her, he talked to her, he even kissed her." Luna looked surprise. "Though that is shocking it shouldn't be that much of a surprise. We know she's married to him." Celestia nodded. "I know, but my question is why? Why doesn't she resist him, why does she do what he tells her, why does she let him use magic on her....." Luna interrupted. "Wait, he used magic on her?" Celestia shrugged. "Well, not really. He said she was too perfect to change. But my biggest question is why does she love him? Why does he love HER?" Luna sighed. "You want me to go inside their dreams don't you." Celestia smiled nervously. "Yes, please." Luna rolled her eyes. "Fine, but if I get caught, your taking the blame." Celestia sighed. "Alright, it's not like I'm in enough trouble as it is." Luna glared at her. "You got caught didn't you?" Celestia nodded. "Your better at this, you know the night and dark. That's why I need you." Luna nodded. "I'll do it." Celestia smiled. "Thank you Luna." Her young sister smiled back. "Come on we need to go. King Sombra is probably waiting for us."

When Celestia and Luna entered the arena they found hundreds of ponies inside. They found King Sombra on the other side along with Discord, Nightmare Moon, Queen Chrysalis, and Moonlight. They all appeared to be talking. After a while Discord, Moonlight Chaos, and Queen Chrysalis left. Nightmare Moon stayed behind. She talked with King Sombra for a little longer but then she also left. King Sombra turned to face them, for some reason Celestia did not feel as worried as she had the last time. Perhaps this would be easier then with Chrysalis. For one thing Sombra did not have wings, and all his magic controlled was crystals and shadows. But she was wrong, as soon as the sound of the horn rang out Sombra began to attack. He sent hundreds of crystals flying towards them. Celestia and Luna were able to avoid them. Luna sent beams towards King Sombra, but he blocked them with a crystal wall. He used his magic to push the wall towards Luna knocking her down. Celestia looked a at her sister, she was having a hard time getting up. Sombra turned into a shadow he headed towards Celestia. Luna watched as Sombra got closer and closer to her older sister. Just as she got up Celestia was pushed down. Luna ran over to her. Her eyes had purple trails flowing off. Like Sombra. "Celestia!"

Queen Chrysalis watched as Sombra began to throw everything he had at Celestia and Luna. "He sure knows how to start a fight." The Changeling Queen said. Nightmare Moon glared at her. "He certainly does. Why didn't you fight like that?" Queen Chysalis rolled her eyes. "I didn't have to. They were too weak, besides, they are nothing without their precious Elements of Harmony. The last time I faced someone who challenged me was good but not good enough. He lost and was banished. I don't know where he is now, and I don't really care." Nightmare Moon smirked. "At moonrise I'll be down there. And Celestia and Luna will be so tired they won't have the power to defeat me. I'll be the winner." Queen Chrysalis returned the smile. "Let's just hope we ALL come out winners." Then they heard a loud scream. The two looked down into the arena, Celestia had been knocked down. They heard Discord from above them. "One down, one to go."

Luna stood up. Sombra was no longer in his shadow form. He glared at the blue Alicorn in front of him. He was going to finish her. Luna made glowing balls of energy appear. They looked like stars, she sent them towards King Sombra. Four hit him, leaving marks on his armor and cuts on his body. King Sombra removed the spell on Celestia. When she got up, Luna rushed towards her. King Sombra used his magic to surround Celestia and Luna in a crystal barrier they couldn't get out of. They were stuck, King Sombra had won. Once again they heard ponies cheering. Finally King Sombra let them go, Luna and Celestia looked at each other. They were very worried, they had lost twice. And they to face Nightmare Moon at the end of the day, this was not going to be good. After the match with King Sombra, Luna and Celestia rested. They made sure they had enough power. Especially because after the match Luna was going to see Discord and Moonlight. All day they watched as the sun and moon traded places. But when the sun went down and the moon began to rise slowly. They knew it was time. They walked out of their room and into the arena. Nightmare Moon was waiting for them. King Sombra, Queen Chrysalis, Discord, Moonlight Chaos were all watching, so was the large crowd of ponies.

Discord's Weakness

Celestia could feel her heart beating, sweat beginning to form, and her body beginning to shake. Luna looked at her sister. "Celestia, you don't look to well, maybe I should face her alone." Celestia shook her head. "No Luna, you need to save your power. Only fight if you must. Do you understand?" Luna nodded. "Yes dear sister." Celestia tried to prepare herself but it was too late. The game had already begun. Nightmare Moon began to try and hit Celestia. Her cerulean beams went everywhere. Celestia tried to fight back, but Nightmare Moon was too strong. All she could do was stall. Without Luna's help they would lose. Even with Luna's help they would still lose. And it was just going to get worse, finally an idea came to her. She would have to lose this, when Luna would find out Discord's weakness. She could find how to defeat all of them, then with the Elements of Harmony back they could restore Order and Peace. Slowly she began to give in, Nightmare Moon was winning. As the moon got higher into the sky, Nightmare Moon got stronger and Celestia grew weaker. Eventually she was too tired to do anything. Nightmare Moon pushed her away. They had lost again. By the time the moon was almost at it's highest peak Celestia had regained most of her strength. Everyone went into their own rooms, Celestia turned to Luna. "Try to find out as much as you can, maybe even a key to winning this." Luna nodded. "Very well, if this is what you want." Luna slowly slipped out the door. She flew down the hall and into Discord's room. When she got inside she found Discord sleeping on a cotton candy cloud wrapping himself around Moonlight. Luna sighed. "I cannot believe I'm doing this." Slowly she used her magic to enter into Discord's dream.

When she got inside it looked like nothing had happened. She was still in a world of chaos, but it wasn't as dark out. She turned around to see Discord and Moonlight. Looking around for a place to hide she found a small bush and his inside it. Just as she was about to continue watching she heard a noise next to her. She moved some of the branches to see Nightmare Moon sitting next to her. "What are you doing here?" Luna asked. Nightmare Moon rolled her eyes. "Your not the only one who has the abilities to enter dreams or nightmares you know." Luna sighed. "Okay, then why are you here?" Nightmare Moon gave her a smug smile. "Discord told me it's okay if I enter his dreams just as long as I don't interfere with anything. Besides I like watching these two. They give me a few laughs and get very romantic sometimes. And cause twice the chaos seeing that they share the same dream....." Luna interrupted. "Wait, they share the same dream?" Nightmare Moon nodded. "Yes, they enter into each others mind and share one dream....or nightmare.I thought you were supposed to know this kind of stuff already!"Luna rolled her eyes and continued to watch. She began to make sense of what was going on. Discord and Moonlight were on the edge of a mountain. Luna could see everything from this point. "Is it always the edge of a mountain you're going to take me to when we have alone time?" Moonlight asked. Discord looked like he was going to snap his fingers. "You don't like it up here? If not I can change that?" Moonlight shook her head. "No, it's fine up here. Really...." Discord glared at her. "Are you afraid you're going to fall of the edge? Because if you do I'll catch you." Moonlight smiled. "I know you will." Luna was curious about this. "Do they always act like this?" She asked Nightmare Moon. "Most of the time, but sometimes they get a little.....crazy if you know what I mean." Was Nightmare Moons reply. Luna went back to Discord. He was just staring at Moonlight. "Why is he doing that?" Luna asked. Nightmare Moon laughed. "Oh he always does that. He just stares at her for a while." Luna gave her a confused look. He always does that? Seriously, what does he do with her when nobody else is around? Moonlight then got closer to Discord she put her hooves around him. Luna watched as Discord took his claw and ran it through her mane multiple times. "You have the prettiest mane in the world." Discord said. Moonlight continued to hug him. "You have the most amazing eyes." Discord smiled. "Really? You are the only one who has ever mentioned my eyes." Moonlight pulled away and looked at him. "Well, it's true. If I wanted to I could stare at your eyes all day long. I have never met anyone with eyes like yours." Discord sighed. "You flatter me you pretty little thing." Moonlight smiled. "Believe me I could go on and on about how amazing you are." Discord's eyes widened. "Wow, I'm that good huh?" Moonlight nodded. "Your better then good, your perfect." Discord smiled. "How long are you going to talk about just me? You haven't said anything about how amazing you are!" Moonlight shrugged. "I'm not that amazing........am I?" Discord began to curl himself around Moonlight. "Yes you are, you say you could go on and on about me, I could go even further on about you. The only thing is there is no word in the world to describe someone like you. And in a few days you will be able to prove it when you go against Luna and Celestia." Moonlight sighed. "I can't wait." Discord got closer to her. "What's wrong?" Moonlight bit her lip. "I'm a little nervous. Yes I helped Dark Chaos, yes I defeated Nightmare Moon and Solar Flare, but there were some things I couldn't stop. Like when Luna and Celestia turned you to stone. I couldn't stop Dark Chaos until she had hurt me and you. I couldn't stop Ink Illustration unless I agreed to marry him. Discord sometimes they scare me. Every time I thought you didn't love me, or didn't need me I hurt you. And every time it was you in the end that did everything. If you hadn't helped me I wouldn't have defeated Nightmare Moon and Solar Flare, Dark Chaos would be haunting me for the rest of my life, and I would be married to Ink Illustration. That's not perfect Discord, what you did saved everything. I can't face Luna and Celestia knowing that they could do anything to you. I can't let them hurt you because of what I did." Moonlight felt tears stream down her face. "I'm the one who took you away from Dark Chaos, I'm the one who suggested we turn Celestia and Luna into Solar Flare and Dark Chaos. I'm the one Ink Illustration wanted so he threatened to hurt you because he knew I cared about you." Discord was surprised. She was tearing herself apart about the things she had done and considering everything her fault. He was going to end this, he knew what she saw in him, now she was going to see what he saw in her. He brought her up to his face. "Moonlight, look at me." Moonlight looked up at him with her tear stained eyes. "Do you trust me my dear?" Discord asked in a calm voice. Moonlight sighed. "Yes, I trust you." Discord smiled. "Good, just look at me for a moment." Moonlight stared at him. She watched as his eyes began to grow very swirly, and full of colors. He caressed her face. She knew what he was doing but continued to stare into his eyes. Discord continued to use his magic to hypnotize her. Soon her eyes matched his, when Discord saw this he smiled. "That's it. Just relax....." Moonlight began to feel very drowsy. She groaned for a moment. Discord watched as her eyes slowly closed. She began to fall asleep in Discord's arms. "Discord.......what are you........doing?" But Discord didn't answer. He let the spell begin to take full effect on her. Putting her into a deep trance. She's right. I really do have amazing eyes. "Shhh. Don't talk, just keep your eyes shut." Discord told her. He started stroking her mane. "Listen to me my dear, I love everything about you, all the decisions you made were the right ones. It wasn't your fault Dark Chaos became who she was, it was mine because I didn't love her. I loved you, and if you hadn't left when she tried to split us apart I wouldn't have realized that you would do anything to make me happy. You were willing to let Dark Chaos be with me just to make her happy. And when Celestia and Luna turned me to stone you are so willing to do anything I say. I told you not to let them see you, and you did exactly that. I know you love me, And I know you see more beauty in me then anyone else. I want you to see what you mean to me. You have proven your loyalty to me more then once my sweet. You respect me, and admire me. That is perfect my dearest, that is more then anyone could ever give to me. You have never doubted me........" Moonlight shook her head. "Yes I have......." Discord put his paw over her mouth. "No you haven't. You are perfect my dear, you are willing to let me do anything to you, seeing me happy is better to you then your own happiness, you always do exactly what I tell you to do no matter how strange it seems, and you care about me enough to tell me what you see in me, instead of trying to see what's in yourself. I have never been more happy to know someone like you loves me, and I am very proud to be your husband, my queen." Moonlight's eyes tried to open her eyes but Discord's magic was keeping them closed. "YOUR queen?" Discord nodded. "Yes, you are my Queen of Chaos." He gently leaned towards her and kissed her. "Remember that, nopony is going to take you away from me, nopony is going to hurt you. I promise darling." Moonlight felt Discord gently caress her face. His touch was so gentle that Moonlight couldn't help but stay still as Discord continued to run his paw through her mane and caress her face. Luna had seen the whole thing. "Did she just let him use magic on her? She wasn't resisting him at all! She even knew he was using magic!" Nightmare Moon nodded. "Were you not listening? Yes! And I must say I enjoyed every moment of this. It was very interesting, usually Moonlight doesn't act like that. Discord is good......." Luna was trying to take in what she had just seen. "Too good if you ask me, he knows how to persuade ponies like that...." Then it hit her. "Moonlight is Discord's weakness......" Nightmare Moon glared at her. "What?" Luna was shocked. "I need to go." Luna quickly vanished. Just before she left, she quickly skimmed through some of Discord's memories and sure enough, most of them involved Moonlight Chaos.

Luna slowly flew out of Discord's room, she could not believe what she had seen. It was unbelievable, she needed to tell Celestia. She looked outside it was the middle of the night, she had been spying on them for almost three hours! She slowly walked into her room and shut the door. Celestia was asleep, she walked over to her sisters bed and gently shook her. "Celestia, get up now!" She whispered. Celestia slowly opened her eyes. "Luna......What is it?" Luna had a look in her eyes that made Celestia feel worried. "Luna, what is it?" Luna stared at her sister for a moment. "I did it Celestia. And thankfully I wasn't caught." Celestia's eyes widened. "What did you see?" Luna sighed. "Celestia, I saw a lot of what you told me. But....." Luna stopped, if she told Celestia she would be shocked. "Luna, please tell me." Celestia begged. Luna glared at the floor. "He used magic on her this time." Celestia gasped. "What was happening?" Luna slowly let everything slip out. "At first they were just talking, but then Discord began to go on and on about how special she was to him. But when he asked her about when she was going to face us, she looked worried. Then Moonlight Chaos began to talk about things that had happened in the past, she was so sure that we were here because of the mistakes she made. Then Discord used magic on her, it wasn't like one of his games. It was different, she knew he was going to use magic Celestia. He even asked her if she trusted him. She let him use magic on her, then he said things I would never have imagined to come out of his mouth." Celestia was surprised. "What was it he said?" Luna clenched her teeth. "He loves her Celestia. He said so many times, he kept telling her that everything she did, was right. She listens to him no matter what he says, she's more then willing to let him use magic on her, she does whatever he tells her to do. Celestia, this is not a trick. He loves her, she can see more in him then even I can see in my night. She is not under a spell." Celestia was shocked. But an idea hit her. "Luna, we don't have to win." Luna turned to Celestia. "What! I must not have heard correctly, say that again?" Celestia began to brighten up. "Luna the only game we have to win is the one against Discord and Moonlight, even if we lost all the other games. If we win, Discord can either use his magic for good or...........he can go back to stone." Luna shook her head. "You know he is not going to change, especially when she will keep from from changing. You still don't get it. She loves who he is now, I've looked through some memories. She doesn't want him to change." Celestia wrapped her wing around her sister. "You know we have to win, restoring Harmony is what we need to do. Discord made his choice, if he really wants to be with her........if we win then he will have to change his ways. Or he can risk losing her." Luna sighed. "But what if we lose?" Celestia sighed. "We just have to do the best we can, thank you for doing this." Luna nodded and slowly got into her bed. Celestia was still trying to take this all in. Chaos really did have a queen, disharmony did have a wife, discord really did have a bride. My Queen of Chaos My Queen of Chaos My Queen of Chaos My Queen of Chaos The words whispered in her mind. This was beginning to haunt her. What was she missing? How far was Discord going to go to show how much he cared about one mare? She tried not to think about it, they would have to face Moonlight's friends at noon tomorrow.

The Power of Chaos

Celestia woke up while the moon was still up but she could hear voices. She walked outside of the room. In the hall she found Luna. "What is going on Luna?" Her young sister sighed. "Everyone is in Discord's room, they are having a small party in there and it woke me." Celestia turned around. "Come on we might as well try to go back to sleep." Luna looked confused. "But Celestia the sun is already up." Celestia turned towards a window, the sun was up. "But.....how.....is? Discord......" Luna saw the expression on her older sisters face and grew worried. "It's going to be fine Celestia, we can at least get ready. We're going to be going against five ponies after all." Celestia knew Luna was trying to help, she gave her a small smile. "Just remember we don't have to win, we can try, but if we don't feel like we have the strength then we don't have to do anything." Luna nodded. "Yes Celestia. At least we know what we're up against. One of them can make everything pitch black, and another one can talk in a language nobody can understand." Celestia turned to Luna. "Yes, I know one of them can create strange weather patterns and illusions, and that brown Earth Pony is just very silly." Luna tried to think. "But there is one more, I can't remember what she does though." Celestia sighed. "We'll find out soon enough." Then they heard a loud scream. "AHHHH! OH MY GOSH! YOU ARE SO FUN!" It came from Discord's room. Luna and Celestia laughed and walked towards their room.

"AHHHH! OH MY GOSH! YOU ARE SO FUN!" Chocolate Pie squealed. "We all get to hang out and have fun, right before we start the game!" Discorded Swirls laughed. "Ha! Please, with all five of us the game will end in ten seconds flat!" Star Dim sighed. "Let me guess, YOU'RE going to end the game in ten seconds." Discorded Swirls smirked. "Well duh! But you guys can help too....." Everypony began to laugh. "What! What's so funny?" Moonlight smiled. "You are just so full of yourself!" Discorded Swirls stomped her hoof. "I am not!" Crazed Candy rolled her eyes. "Actually, you kind of are......" Discorded Swirls sighed. Chocolate Pie rushed over to her. "Don't worry! It'll be super fun, and then Discord and Moonlight will get a turn!" Cotton Feathers gave Chcolate Pie a devious look. "Yeah, and they're both going to win, that's for sure." Star Dim nodded. "Of course they will, I just wish I could see you two doing it together." Discord smiled. "Well, our turn hasn't come yet. Besides we can do everything else together." Chocolate giggled. "Of course you can, then we can have a huge party!" Cotton Feathers groaned. "Another! Seriously you've had six parties in one week already!" Chocolate nodded. "Yep! Maybe I can get to ten parties!" Star Dim looked nervous. "Maybe another time darling. When we aren't so tired from playing. We don't all have your energy." Crazed Candy cleared her throat. "Um....I hate to cut this short......but the game is going to start!" Everypony got excited and rushed out the door. "I'd say good luck to everyone, but we don't need luck. We got chaos!" Star Dim said with a smile. They all laughed and headed towards the arena.

Celestia and Luna knew it was time for the next game to start. They flew out of their room and headed towards the arena. When they got there they found five ponies waiting for them on the other side. Luna sighed. "Celestia, I'm exhausted. Do we have to do this?" Celestia nodded. "Yes Luna, I'm tired too. I promise we won't do anything tonight. But for now, we need to get this over with." Luna shut her eyes and took a deep breath. She slowly opened them and looked at Celestia. Then towards the other side of the arena. Celestia wanted this to end, it was Discord she wanted to face. Then she could finally be done with everything. She looked towards one side of the arena and saw Discord, he had dark smile on his face and was pulling his paw through Moonlight's mane. For some reason she tried to watch his every move. My Queen of Chaos My Queen of Chaos My Queen of Chaos Those words were starting to haunt her. She wanted this nightmare to end. Suddenly she began to wonder what was taking so long for the match to start, then she realized it had already started. Luna was trying to hold back five ponies. She had been watching Discord for so long she hadn't been paying attention. She flew towards Luna. "Sorry, I was distracted." She looked at the five ponies below, they were stronger then she thought. The grey Pegasus began flying in circles all around her, doing the same with Luna. Then the blue Unicorn used her magic to create a black mist around them. It was impossible to see! Then Celestia felt something sticky and gooey cover her. It was in her mane, on her hooves, and all over her body. Then she could smell something, it was very sweet. She could hear laughter not very far. "What was that stuff?" A sweet voice asked. "Ultra sticky vanilla cake mix of course!" A high pitched voice called out. Now Celestia knew what the smell was, she was covered in cake mix! When the darkness began to disappear she found that Luna was also covered in vanilla cake mix. They turned to the five ponies to discover they were all laughing. Celestia then found herself staring at Discord, he was also laughing. So was Moonlight, Queen Chrysalis, King Sombra, and Nightmare Moon. Celestia tried to use her magic to get the sticky cake mix off but it hurt to try getting it off. She could hear Luna groaning. Celestia tried to fly but the cake mix got stuck on her wings, and was very heavy. So she used her magic to put up shield around Luna and herself. The grey Pegasus rolled her eyes. "A shield, oh please!" She began spinning in a circle until it formed what looked like a small tornado. She flew towards the shield and began to break through! Soon it burst and faded. "What! How is that possible?" Celestia asked herself. The five ponies began to surround Celestia and Luna. Then they heard a voice. "Hey Celestia? Why is it that you......" Then it was total nonsense. Celestia was beginning to get a headache. The grey Pegasus began forming spirals and strange illusions that made Celestia shut her eyes. She could hear a bunch of loud noises, it was all driving her crazy! She could hear Luna calling out to her. "Celestia, make it stop!" Celestia sighed. This was only a small portion of what Discord could do. She just wanted this to end. "STOP!" She yelled. They had lost, again.

Trust Me

"Ow! Please be careful!" Luna said. Celestia and Luna were trying to get all the sticky cake mix off of them. Washing it out hadn't worked, and there was no way they were going to eat it, so they had to slowly remove each bit off their bodies. Celestia backed up. "I'm sorry Luna, I try to be more gentle. Trust me sister." Luna sighed. "You are gentle Celestia, but this cake mix is not!" Luna then turned towards her sister. She used her magic to slowly pull of a small pile of cake mix off of Celestia's wing. "You do realize that Discord can do a lot worse then what we just faced right?" Luna asked. Celestia nodded. "Yes but he doesn't always stop. And we both know for a fact that he's not just doing this for himself. Not just for fun....." Luna frowned. "After we get this off, I suggest we get some rest. He can randomly say whenever the match starts, he is Discord after all." Celestia sighed. "Yes, I know. But just remember, this is one of the matches we actually have to try our hardest to win." Luna nodded. "Alright........Ouch!"

"Did you see that! That was awesome! We got them in ten seconds flat!" Discorded Swirls said. Discord smirked. "No, you got them in ten minutes flat." Discorded Swirls rolled her eyes. "Minutes, seconds same thing. But did you see the way they were both yelling? Make it stop! This is crazy! I can't take it! And my favorite.........STOP!!!" Everyone began to laugh. Chocolate Pie giggled. "I was right, it was fun! Did you see the part where I covered them in Ultra Sticky Vanilla Cake Mix? It was too funny!" Crazed Candy chuckled. "How could we forget? They were covered in it for the entire game, while I was walking towards this room I heard Luna screaming "Ow! It hurts!" They were trying to get the cake mix off!" Chocolate smiled. "It's the only cake mix in the world that doesn't wash out!" When Moonlight heard that she began laughing. "It's the ONLY cake mix in the world that doesn't wash out! Seriously?" Chocolate nodded. "Yup!" Moonlight couldn't stop laughing after that. Cotton Feathers glared at her. "Moony, are you okay?" Discord smiled. "She's fine, this isn't the first time she's laughed like this." Cotton Feathers backed up. "I'm not even going to ask." Moonlight lost control and fell on the floor. "Discord help me please! I can't stop laughing!" Discord glared at her. "Is that a problem?" Moonlight bit her lip. "If you keep it up, I'm not going to stop!" Discord picked her up with his tail. "Is that supposed to be a threat." Moonlight stared at him then covered her face with her hooves and starting laughing. "Why do you do these things to me?" Discord sighed. "Because it's fun. That's why." Star Dim stared at Discord. "Really darling, is this how you deal with everything?" Discord nodded. "Pretty much." Moonlight slowly began to calm down. "I cannot believe you......" Discord smiled. "Neither can I." He brought her closer and hugged her. Chocolate smiled. "Aw! I can never get over the fact how cute you two are!" Discord eyes widened as Chocolate Pie ran over to him and hugged him. Then Star Dim came over. "Group hug!" Chocolate Pie called out. Cotton Feathers and Crazed Candy got closer. Discorded Swirls sighed. She walked over to Discord and gave him a small hug. Moonlight giggled. "Is this too embarrassing?" Discord sighed. "Surprisingly, no." After a while the hugging turned into squeezing. "Okay, I don't know about you, but I'm having a hard time breathing. So could you please get off of me?" Discord asked. Very quickly they moved away. "Sorry Discord!" Chocolate Pie said. Moonlight was about to move when Discord stopped her. "Not you." Moonlight sighed. "Okay." Crazed Candy began to yawn. "Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm ready to hit the hay. Besides tomorrow is going to be full of chaos." Star Dim nodded. "I have to agree with Crazed Candy. I'm exhausted, good luck tomorrow Discord." Discord rolled his eyes. "I don't need luck, but thank you." Star Dim smiled. "Your welcome." Discorded Swirls stretched her wings out. "Yeah, I'm beat." Cotton Feathers turned to her. "Since when are you tired?" Discorded Swirls looked nervous. "Well hey, if you want to talk about not being tired, ask her!" She pointed to Chocolate Pie who smiled innocently. "What?" Then she bounced out of the room. Discord flew towards the bed. "Are you going to sleep?" Moonlight nodded. "In a minute." Discord shrugged and flew into the bed. The lights slowly went off. Moonlight began to get worried. "Oh no."

Finally after two hours of trying to get now dried cake mix off of them Celestia and Luna decided they were going to go to sleep. They were sore and exhausted. "Goodnight Celestia." Luna said as she climbed into her bed. Celestia smiled. "Goodnight Luna." She put her head on her pillow and shut her eyes. The only problem was she couldn't fall asleep. She felt like something was wrong. Celestia slowly got out of her bed and walked down the hall. Then she heard hoof steps. Celestia followed the sound until she came to Discord's room. She peered through the small crack between the door. She could see Moonlight walking around the room. "What am I doing? Sure he can do this, but I can't." Celestia had no idea what she was talking about. She didn't want to have to worry about anything because she was going to face Discord soon. She began to walk away, but Moonlight heard her. She slowly peered out of the room, but she saw nopony. Slowly she went back into the room. Her anxiety grew worse, there was just something that made her nervous. The day after tomorrow she would be going up against two Alicorns. Sure her friends had done it, but there was five of them and only one of her. If she faced Celestia and Luna, they were defeat her. She would lose everything....again. "I can't do this!" She tried not to think about it, but all that came to her was terrifying images. Discord being turned to stone, his claw reaching towards her, tears. Moonlight sighed. "I'm sorry Discord." She felt her eyes beginning to burn, she was trying so hard not to cry. Then she heard something. "Shhhhh. It's alright......" It was a voice. "Discord?" Moonlight called. Then she heard his voice again. "Listen to me, everything you've done has always made me proud of you." The Moonlight realized it was all in her head. But it seemed so real. "Many times you have proven your loyalty to me. I have never met anyone who trusts me as much you do. I understand that your scared, but do believe that when you need me I won't be there?" Moonlight sighed. "No." Discord's voice spoke again. "I never would have asked you to finish the game if I weren't conifedent that you didn't have the power to do so. I have seen your power, you can finish it. I have seen you do it many times before. Trust me....." Those last two words made Moonlight freeze. "I do trust you." She could almost feel him watching her despite the fact that he was already asleep. She could practically see his eyes glowing in the dark. "Discord." Sleep my Queen. I promise nothing will happen to you. Trust me. Sleep..... His voice was so quiet, and so soothing. Moonlight felt a wave of dizziness wash over her. She dropped to the floor. Trust me. Moonlight eyes slowly started to close. Discord opened one eye, he smiled and got out of their bed. He had been awake the whole time, he had heard everything she said. She had trusted him. He picked Moonlight up and carried her to the bed. He pulled the blankets over her. "Thank you. You always trust me."

The King of Chaos

Discord knew it was time. He couldn't wait anymore. The sun still wasn't out but the moon was almost down. He knew Moonlight was still asleep, so made sure everyone else was awake first. He even woke Celestia and Luna himself, and neither of them was too happy about that. Celestia was angry. "Discord! The next time you do that could you do it nicely?" Discord pretended he was thinking. "Hmmmmm, and my answer is........No!" He quickly flew out he door. When he saw that everyone was already about to go into the arena for the next game he slithered into his room. Moonlight was still sleeping. Discord smiled. He pulled the blankets of her and was going to tickle her again. Before he could touch her Moonlight smiled. "Don't even think about it." Discord sighed. "Well how else am I supposed to wake you up?" Moonlight turned to him. "I'll have to think about that one." She opened her eyes and got out of the bed. "Did you wake everyone else up by tickling them?" Discord shook his head. "Why would I do that. None of them deserve it." Moonlight jumped up and flew over him. "Come on. Your audience awaits." Discord rolled his eyes. "Must you always be so dramatic?" Moonlight smirked. "Oh please, and your not dramatic at all!" Discord sighed. "What am I going to do with you?" Moonlight smiled. "There isn't anything you can do." Discord retuned the smile. "I suppose your right." They reached the arena. Moonlight looked up at him. "Just promise me you'll be careful. I don't want them to hurt you." Discord caressed her face. "Trust me my dear, I won't let them do anything." Moonlight nodded and turned around to go to her seat. As she sat down she felt a tear fall down her face. "I trust you." Discord turned towards the other end of the arena. Celestia and Luna were there, staring at him. Then the starting horn went off. Discord's eyes began to glow brightly.

Discord stood on his end of the arena. "Come on Celestia, bring it to me." When Celestia saw that Discord wasn't attacking she made her move. She tried to blast him with her magic but he caught the beam in his paw. He crushed it and let the remains fall to the ground. Luna saw what happened and used her magic to send a swirling beam of magic towards him. But Discord blew on it and it dissolved into nothing. Celestia and Luna put both their horns together. They created a large purple beam and aimed it at Discord. The Draconequus held his claw out and tried pushing back the energy. The magic was pushing him back but it didn't seem to be affecting him. Celestia and Luna tried harder, sending more magic towards him. Discord then held up his paw as well. He took all the magic and reversed it sending it towards Luna and Celestia. Luna used her magic to shield them. Then they watched as Discord snapped his fingers. Celestia looked around. Nothing had happened. Then she saw a beam of magic coming towards her. It was from Luna. "Luna! What are you doing?" Luna looked scared. "I'm sorry Celestia, it's not my fault! My horn is doing it on it's own!" Celestia turned towards Discord to see he had a dark smile on his face. Celestia was scared, it looked like he had lost his mind, and his sanity. Then again, he never really had any sanity to begin with. Luna fired another beam at Celestia. It barely missed her. Discord laughed. "This is all too easy." He said to himself. Then he looked up at the dome Nightmare Moon had made. It gave him an idea. He snapped his fingers once again and everything was pitch black. He chuckled evilly. "Luna! Where are you?" Celestia called. "I'm over here!" Luna called out. Suddenly everything got bright, and she could see Luna. Celestia ran over to her sister. Then everything got dark again. "Celestia, I do not like where this is going." Luna said in a nervous tone. Celestia sighed. "I know, but remember this is only a small bit of what he can do. Besides I'm sure it will get bright again very soon. Suddenly they could see again, then they heard a dark laugh. "Celestia, he is beginning to scare me." Luna said. "Don't worry I'm sure it's nothing." Celestia insisted with a nervous voice. Then it went pitch black again. They could hear Discord. "What's the matter Celestia? It sounds like someone's scared of the dark." Celestia stomped her hoof. "Enough! Show yourself!" Discord laughed again. This time it sounded like he was closer. It got bright again. Celestia looked around, she couldn't see Discord. It went black again. "My my Celestia. You're making this too easy." Discord said. Celestia got angry. "Come out now!" Discord sighed. "Oh Celestia, you really don't want me to do that." Luna growled. "Show yourself, coward!" Discord smiled in the dark. "Very well, if you insist. Oh and guess what Celestia! Unlike you, she admires my eyes." Celestia grew nervous. "Your what?" Discord laughed. "My eyes Celestia. She finds them quite fascinating, and I'm sure you will too." Celestia turned to look at Luna. Only she was gone. "Oh no." The light came back and Celestia could see Luna. Her eyes were full of swirling colors. The light went out again and Celestia saw Discord. Actually she could only see his eyes. They were glowing in the dark. Celestia began to back away. "Why don't you trust me Celestia? I'm not a monster......." Then his eyes starting to become full of colorful spirals. Celestia covered her eyes. She knew Discord was in front of her. "Stay away from me!" Celestia yelled. "Why? I thought you wanted to see me. Trust me Celestia." Celestia grit her teeth. She shut her eyes harder. "No, I'm not falling into the same trap that she did." Discord got closer, he spoke to her in a loud whisper. "Celestia! How dare you insult my Queen!" Celestia opened her eyes for a moment. "Maybe she does love you but I don't see why!" Discord narrowed his eyes. "Because unlike you, she knows how to find true beauty Celestia." Discord circles around her. Celestia shut her eyes again. "Don't try to play your mind games with me Discord. Let Luna go." Discord smirked. "No. Why should I?" Celestia opened her eyes. The light was back. Discord was right in front of her. She fired a beam from her horn and it hit Discord. He flew backwards. The light came back completely. Discord narrowed his eyes. Then heard a familiar voice. "Discord!" It was Moonlight. Just promise me you'll be careful. I don't want them to hurt you.

Moonlight was watching everything. So far it seemed easy, Discord was resisting every spell thrown at him. Then he began using Luna's magic to target Celestia. It seemed as if this was too easy, he was going to win. Then suddenly everything went black. Although it was dark, Moonlight could still tell what was happening, she could hear Discord talking to Celestia and Luna. The light's would constantly go on and off. She watched as Luna and Celestia started to get scared. Moonlight could see Discord's eyes glowing in the dark. Celestia was demanding that he come out of the dark. Discord hypnotized Luna and then to so the same to Celestia. But she was resisting him, Moonlight had a bad feeling something was going to happen. She watched as Discord tried to get Celestia to look at him. But all she did was demand that he let go of Luna. When Discord refused she saw Celestia open her eyes. Celestia hit Discord with her magic. Moonlight screamed. "Discord!" Her eyes instantly filled with tears. Celestia had hurt Discord, and now all Moonlight could feel was anger.

Discord looked up at Moonlight. She was clenching her teeth, and she looked scared. Right now he didn't care that Celestia had hurt him, he was mad that she hurt Moonlight. He quickly stood up. Celestia tried to hit him with another beam, but Discord blocked it instantly. Celestia could tell he was mad. Luna was still under Discord's spell. "Luna, help me!" But Luna just stood there. Celestia watched as Discord used his magic to form a large orb. He threw it at her. She wasn't fast enough, and the orb hit her. She was pushed into the ground. Luna saw and broke out of her trance. "Celestia!" She turned to face Discord. She sent many small balls of energy towards him. Discord flew into the air avoiding all of them. He was going to finish this, no more games. This one was going to end. He snapped his fingers causing the ground to shake and slide. Luna couldn't stay balanced so she flapped her wings and got high into the air. Luna sent a dark blue beam towards him, while Discord blocked it with a deep yellow beam. Luna began to get very tired. Discord was stronger. His magic hit her causing her to fall towards the ground. "I am the King of Chaos!" Discord said. Luna tried to get up but she was so tired and sore she couldn't move. Discord won. Moonlight flew over to him and knocked him down. "ARE YOU OKAY?" She said in a scared tone. Discord started stroking Moonlight's mane. "I'm fine, I'm more worried about you." Moonlight was so overwealmed she couldn't think straight at all. "I just.....you can't......they....hurt you...." Discord tried calming her down. "Shhh. I'm fine. Don't lose all of your sanity just yet." Moonlight sighed. " First I don't think I really have any sanity. I'm sorry, I just got nervous. I thought they did something really bad to you." Discord smiled. "They did, they almost broke you." Moonlight took a deep breath. "Okay, are you SURE your alright?" Discord sighed. "You and I really need some alone time." Moonlight nodded. "That would be nice."

The Final Match

For the rest of the day Discord and Moonlight were in their room. Moonlight was still anxious. Discord was becoming more worried about her. "Are you sure YOUR not the one that doesn't feel alright? Your starting to scare me a bit." Discord said. Moonlight shook her head. "I don't know! I just can't believe that she hurt you! But it's a good thing you still won. Wait.......is that supposed to be a good thing?" Discord grabbed her and pulled her down onto the bed.. "You need to relax. Look at me. I'm right in front of you, I'm fine. Trust me." Moonlight nodded. "Okay.....I t-t-trust you....." Discord stared at her. "Trust me my dear. I'm not going to hurt you." Moonlight looked into his eyes. "I trust you." Discord's eyes became swirly. Moonlight's eyes matched his. Then her breathing slowed down, and she seemed less tense. "Feel better?" Discord asked. Moonlight nodded. "Yes, thank you. I find everything easy when you use magic on me." Discord smiled. "Then you would be the first. If I were you I would probably just lie down for a while." Moonlight sighed. "I think I can do that." Moonlight got underneath the blankets and closed her eyes. "At midnight, you're going to have to go against Celestia and Luna." Discord said. Moonlight didn't move. "Okay." Discord was surprised, every other time he mentioned that she would get nervous, that spell he used on her must have been strong. Now he was a little glad he had used it. "Can you stay with me?" Moonlight asked in a quiet voice. "Yes, why?" Discord replied. "I feel more comfortable and safe when your with me." Moonlight explained. She began to yawn. For some reason she felt extremely tired. Discord watched as she quickly fell asleep, he knew she was going to get nervous again, and he didn't want anyone to touch her. So after he flew out of their room, he locked the door.

Moonlight slept almost all day, by the time she woke up the moon was almost up. She walked over towards the window, from the other side of the arena she could see Luna and Celestia. Moonlight didn't want to think about them, she left the window and walked towards the door. But it was locked. She could have easily gotten out, but She knew Discord had probably locked the door for a reason, and he was going to come back. Moonlight sighed, she knew when Discord came back she was going to have to get back in bed again. But still, she felt like she needed to do something. She walked towards the window and caused herself to vanish. She reappeared in front of her home. She flew into the window of her room. This is were so many events had taken place. She found the drawing that Ink Illustration had made of a wedding dress. So many memories filled this place, and part of her wanted to make them go away. She walked into the hallway filled with stained glass windows. Had she really been a part of all this? The first stained glass window was showed Moonlight and Discord at a young age. The next few showed them getting older and taller, slowly starting to. Then she found the window of Dark Chaos, the window showed Moonlight on the ground. Discord was standing in front of her trying to protect her. She knew what happened next. The window of him taking over Equestria, it showed him controlling ponies like puppets. The next window showed them meeting again, and surrounding them was her five friends. Then she found the window that made her cry. Celestia and Luna turning him to stone. Celestia and Luna were flying around him using their magic. While Discord's statue cast a shadow over Moonlight. She slowly began to back up. All the stained glass windows were beginning to scare her. It was very rare when Moonlight found something she was scared of. She felt her heart beating faster, images swirled through her mind. It was too much, she flew out of the hallway, out of her room and back to the arena. She got into her room and quickly went underneath the blankets. Despite the fact that many blankets were on her, she felt cold. Then she heard Discord come in. Moonlight looked up at him. "Discord.....I'm scared." Discord stopped. He had never heard her say that before. "What's wrong?" He asked in a nervous tone. Moonlight shook her head. "I don't know." He reached out to touch her. She felt cold, something was wrong. "Go back to sleep. You don't have to be scared." Moonlight slowly shut her eyes. Why was Discord acting strange?

It was midnight. Moonlight walked out of the room. Discord was waiting for her. "Discord, why are you here?" Moonlight asked. Discord looked down at her. "They aren't going to hurt you, none of them are." Moonlight looked at the ground. "How do you know?" Discord narrowed his eyes. "Look at me." Moonlight quickly looked up. She stared at his eyes. "Trust me, I love you." Moonlight sighed. "I love you too." Discord quickly flew off. Moonlight walked towards the arena. She felt nervous again, she could hear her heart beating. When she got to the arena she looked at the other side. Celestia and Luna were there. Trust me Moonlight Chaos saw Discord and her friends. They were all sitting watching, waiting for the match to start. Discord had a serious look on his face. King Sombra, Nightmare Moon, and Queen Chrysalis were below him. They all had evil smiles on their faces. Then Celestia and Luna stepped out into the arena. Moonlight took a deep breath, slowly she walked inside. The arena was barely lit this time. Only a few small torches were lit up. It gave them enough light to barely see. The moon was right in the middle of the sky. Everything was silent. Then suddenly a giant spark of magic flew into the sky and lit the large torch at the end of the arena. The match had started.

Moonlight stood still, waiting for Celestia or Luna to do something. Then she saw Celestia's horn begin to glow. She sent a large beam of light towards Moonlight. As the beam got closer Moonlight waited. Just as it was about to hit her she blocked it. That's when things started to get harder. Luna and Celestia both send magic blasts towards her. Moonlight's horn flashed and she disappeared. She quietly appeared behind Celestia and Luna. When the two sisters turned around Moonlight hit them with her magic. They were pushed backwards. But they weren't hurt. Then Celestia and Luna began to combine their power. They put their horns together and a large rainbow light appeared. Moonlight used her magic to create a dark swirling force of magic. The two energies were pushing against each other. But for some reason Celestia and Luna's magic was beginning to defeat Moonlights. Then their magic pushed her back. Causing her to be pushed and dragged against the ground. For a moment Moonlight was still. Then she slowly got up. She looked down and saw the ring Discord gave her. It was covered in dirt, and the gem in the middle was cracked.The ring itself was broken and in hundreds of pieces. Moonlight bit her lip hard, choking back the tears."No......NO NO NO NO!" She was too angry to say anything else. She found a few pieces were on her hooves, the crystal no longer sparkled the way it used to. "No....." Moonlight grew angry. She turned towards Luna and Celestia. "HOW DARE YOU! FIRST YOU TURN DISCORD TO STONE, THEN YOU INSULT HIM, AND NOW YOU DESTROYED MY MOST VALUABLE POSSESSION.....!" Her teeth grew very sharp, her red and yellow eyes grew brighter, her coat turned into a deep black, and her wings began to grow slightly longer. She looked terrifying. Moonlight's horn began to glow and she sent a black beam of magic flying towards Luna and Celestia. They couldn't avoid it and they were both pushed to the ground. They both had cuts and were covered in bruises. Celestia slowly opened her eyes. She slowly stood up and watched Luna open her eyes. Moonlight narrowed her eyes. She couldn't feel anything anymore, the pain went away, all her sadness was drained. Her emotions were gone. She couldn't feel happiness, fun, or love anymore. Moonlight was no longer afraid, but now she had become one of the most terrifying beings in the world.

Discord watched as Moonlight Chaos stepped into the arena. Then he sent a large ray of magic into the air to light the large torch. The final game had begun. Celestia had made the first move, but Moonlight had easily blocked it. Only after the first actions were made did Moonlight start to play. She was fighting hard, but Discord had seen her fight much harder then this. He noticed Luna and Celestia were starting to combine their magic. They hit Moonlight and sent her flying to the ground. She wasn't getting up. "Come on Moonlight, please get up." He said to himself. Then he saw Moonlight starting to move. When she got up she looked down at the ground. Then Discord knew what she was looking at. "Oh no." It was the ring he had given her, it was broken. He saw her getting angry. What happened next even he hadn't expected. She began to yell. "HOW DARE YOU! FIRST YOU TURN DISCORD TO STONE, THEN YOU INSULT HIM, AND NOW YOU DESTROYED MY MOST VALUABLE POSSESSION.....!" He watched as Moonlight began to change. Her teeth were now like knives, her wings were getting bigger and longer, her eyes were glowing, and her coat was fading into an ink black. She narrowed her eyes and flashed a wicked smile. For the second time in his life, Moonlight Chaos was scaring him, for real. This wasn't like the time where she had turned into Dark Chaos, this wasn't like the times she thought he didn't love her, this wasn't even like the time he had almost lost her forever. She had become a being of revenge. Even King Sombra, Nightmare Moon, and Queen Chrysalis were shocked. Discord watched as Celestia hit her with a beam of magic. Then Celestia, Luna and Moonlight began to disappear. Nopony knew where they went, then they saw a large light appear from the top of a nearby mountain. Discord flew towards it, he had never gone so fast before.

"Come out and play, so we can have some fun!" Moonlight whispered. She looked around, she didn't see anyone. Then she heard a noise, she aimed her horn towards the sound and hit it. Her magic crushed a rock and behind it was Luna. She looked scared. Moonlight was about to attack when she heard Celestia. "Stay away from her you monster!" Moonlight cackled. "Ah, and now the real fun can begin now that your both here!" Celestia and Luna both tried to hit her, but their attempts were useless. Moonlight hit Luna causing her to hit her head against a large rock putting her into a state of unconsciousness. "Leave her alone!" Celestia yelled. Moonlight turned her head quickly. She looked insane, her eyes were glowing even brighter then before and she teeth were glistening in the light of the moon. "Make me....." Moonlight said in a scary tone. Celestia tried hitting her with multiple rays of energy, but only one of them hit Moonlight. Her nose was bleeding, and blood was dripping on her teeth. Moonlight knocked Celestia down, and she slowly walked towards her. Just as Moonlight was about to finish her off they both heard a familiar voice. "Stop!" Moonlight turned towards the noise. It was Discord. "Well, well, look who's come to join the party!" Moonlight said with delight. But Discord didn't smile back. "But this is a party I'm going to crash....." He flew towards Moonlight and raised his claw towards her. "I'm sorry....." He said in a quiet voice. His claw brushed right up against Moonlight's face. Giving her a large cut across her entire face. Moonlight screamed. She covered half her face with her hoof. When she let go, she had a large mark scaring her face. Discord looked at his claw. "What have I done?" Moonlight grit her teeth. She aimed her horn at Discord and tried to hit him with her magic. Discord didn't want to hurt her anymore so all he did was block her spells. Each time he saw Moonlight she looked more hurt and scarier. He figured the only way to stop her, was to use magic on her. He flew towards her and pinned her down. Moonlight was kicking and fighting to get away. But Discord held on her to her tightly. He got rid of her horn before she could do anything. "Get off of me!" Moonlight demanded. "No, I'm not letting you go." Discord said. Moonlight grit her teeth, showing him their sharpness and the blood covering them. "Get off me now you fool!" Moonlight yelled. Discord tried to think of a way to get her to stay still. "Trust me, I can't hurt you." Moonlight narrowed her eyes. "And why would I believe that?" Discord stared at her. "Because you always do." Moonlight stopped moving for a moment, it gave Discord enough time to try and cast a spell on her. His eyes began to grow swirly. Moonlight's started to match his, but all she did was smirk. "Don't even bother, I'm immune to your power. I can resist you easily." Then she pushed him off of her with a large abundance of force. Her horn was back somehow. Discord landed next to Celestia. "Discord.......you need to........use......the Elements." Celestia told him. Discord shook his head. "No, I'm not doing that. She's hurt enough Celestia. Why can't you see that? You and your sister have never understood us, and now I see why!" Celestia sighed. "I can, but you need to stop her, I'm too weak. Luna is still unconscious, she only trusts you. You have to stop her now." Discord felt his heart sink. "Why should I listen to you?" Celestia looked up at him with fear in her eyes. "Because you love her, and I know you want her to love you back again." Discord knew Celestia was right. He did want Moonlight to love him, more then anything. "She won't ever look at me or talk to me again." Celestia had a sad look on her face. Discord snapped his fingers. The Elements of Chaos appeared, he broke the rule. "I'm sorry Moonlight......... please forgive me......"

The Crown of Chaos

The Element's began to glow, though he didn't necessarily harness all of each Elements power, he had still created them. And he was the Spirit of Chaos, he already represented all of these things. The Elements were floating in the air, just before Discord used them, he wanted to try one more thing. He snapped his fingers and appeared behind Moonlight. He wrapped his arms around her, and whispered into her ear. I'll always love you, no matter what. My queen.... He gently kissed her. Moonlight only pushed him away once again. Luna had just woken up and saw Discord. She didn't know why he was here but she was going to deal with him. She sent a blue beam towards him. It hit Discord and he was pushed off the edge of the mountain. Moonlight watched. At first she laughed, but then she felt scared. Memories flooded through her. Luna had hurt Discord. "No!" Moonlight screamed. She flew down towards him. She used her magic to catch him. Moonlight brought him back to the top of the mountain. "Discord?" Then it began to rain, large puddles started to form. Moonlight looked into one of them, and gasped. She looked terrifying. And she had a scar across her entire face. Many scratches and cuts as well. Her coat was black and her wings were enormous. Her teeth looked awful, completely sharp and coated in blood. She looked at Discord again. She gasped, she had turned into a monster, she tried to hurt him. Now she was hurt and scarred. Moonlight could feel her emotions again, and now it was all coming out in tears. "Discord........I hurt you.......no.......I'm so sorry......" Then she watched as Discord started to get up, Moonlight didn't want him to see her. So she ran and hid from him. Discord stood up. He could hear crying, he followed the sound to find Moonlight on the ground. "No, no, I hurt him....." Discord saw that she looked upset. "Moonlight?" He called. She gasped. Moonlight covered her face. She tried to hide again. "Discord stay away from me! Please......." Discord put his paw on her. "I'm not leaving you again." Moonlight was so scared that it was all coming out in anger. "Yes you are, leave me alone! I'm not going to hurt you......." Discord tried to look at her. "Can I at least look at you?" Moonlight shook her head. "Discord please don't. I look awful, I deserved it. I can't let you....." Discord backed up. "You do not look awful, and you did not deserve any of this. It's my fault. Please, look at me." Moonlight turned around facing him. Showing him her face, she looked worse then last time. The scar was still there, her nose was still bleeding,she had many cuts and her teeth were even worse then before. One of her eyes looked like it had been hit because it was turning pink. Discord was shocked but he didn't look afraid. He pulled her close to him and wrapped his arms around her. "Oh my sweet Moonlight, what happened to you?" Moonlight was still crying. He gently touched her scar. "I'm sorry I did that. I never wanted to hurt you at all. But it didn't just hurt you. At least you don't look as bad as I do." Moonlight closed her eyes. "That's not true, you are not bad to look at. In fact your don't look bad at all! You have more amazing then the chaos you create." Discord sighed. "Your more beautiful then Celestia and Luna combined." Discord snapped his fingers. Moonlight looked down to see in his claw was the ring. It was fixed. "I brought this for you in case you decided to come back with me." Discord said. Moonlight closed her eyes and clenched her teeth. "I can't Discord, I've become a monster. I know you can't look at me without feeling fear." Discord looked up at the sky. "But you were the one that said, nobody was a monster. No matter how evil, or ugly." Moonlight shook her head. "I was wrong." Discord noticed that Moonlight's ears were becoming more bat like. "Discord, please leave me alone. I lost, you can still defeat Luna and Celestia. I don't deserve to be with you anymore." Discord frowned. "You have done nothing but admire me, you don't even trust yourself anymore. Sometimes when I look at you I feel upset. Why did everything have to happen to you? You have lived through so much pain, and so many have tried to use that. Dark Chaos, Ink Illustration.......and sometimes I ask myself, why? Why did all of this have to happen to you? Why were you always the target? Why were you always the one feeling pain? Why do you doubt yourself? I'm sorry you had to go through all that. I almost lost you once, I'm not losing you again." Moonlight couldn't take it. She didn't want him to hold her anymore, she didn't want to hurt him anymore. Discord could feel her tears dripping onto his arms. He hated seeing her cry. "Trust me, I'm not going to hurt you." Moonlight shook her head. "I'm sorry, I can't." Discord's eyes widened. She didn't trust him anymore, she wasn't just scarred on the outside, but on the inside. Discord did the only thing he could do. He started stroking Moonlights hair. He felt a tear fall down his face. It dropped onto Moonlight's nose. She knew that wasn't rain. Then a final change occurred. Her cutie mark changed from a chaotic eclipse to a tear surrounded by black magic. She had given up completely. Then her wings and horn vanished, her hair stopped flowing, and her eyes went from red and yellow to blue. And all her power began to fade. Moonlight felt weak, even for an Earth Pony. Celestia had seen the whole thing, now she could finally restore Harmony to the land. But didn't get close to Discord. Luna walked straight towards him. Discord saw her a stood up. He let go of Moonlight and pushed Luna down. His eyes began to glow. "Stay away from her...." He said in a scary tone. Luna tried to hit him with her magic but he was too powerful. He trapped Celestia and Luna, for some reason he felt stronger. Then he realized the magic Moonlight had vanished and went into him. That's why she was so weak. He flew over to her. Moonlight sighed. Once again she could feel all her emotions being drained, but her bravery was started to fade. Soon she was too afraid for Discord to see her. "Discord....go now I'm not going to hurt you again." Moonlight didn't want Discord to leave, but she didn't want to hurt him. Discord realized that Moonlight might start acting mean again, she was going to resist him, and toy with him. He realized he was going to have to do more then just use magic on her. "My dear, naive Moonlight......." Moonlight was about to talk when Discord put his claw up to her mouth. "Shhhh. Why don't you understand?"

Moonlight looked confused. Discord smiled slightly. "I don't care what you look like, I don't care how many times you mess something up, I don't even care if you have chaotic magic. I just want you to show me that you really care about me, I just want to know that you'll be yourself." He put his arm around her slowly. Slowly he started to mesmerize her. "I only want you. I would do anything for you." Discord saw that Moonlight's wings were starting to reappear, as well as her horn. "I just want you to trust me, please........trust me." Moonlight's eyes widened. Trust me my dear. You are mine. I will never hurt you. Moonlight remembered that every time she had trusted him, he had never hurt her. She loved him more then anything. He was the only reason she wasn't alone and insane. She remembered how he had always amazed her and enchanted her. How he had always been with her. His touch was so gentle and his words were so calming. She wanted to be his. "I trust you." Moonlight said in a quiet voice. Discord saw her wings and horn had completely reappeared. He faced her and he began to use magic on her. Moonlight's eyes were full of colorful circles. Once again he held out the ring in front of her. "What do you say my dear?" Discord asked. Moonlight nodded. "Yes." Discord put the ring on her horn and smiled. "Now I'm going to do what you do to me." Discord jumped on top of Moonlight and knocked her down, then he kissed her. Moonlight's eyes then turned to red and yellow again. At first they were wide but then she slowly closed them. When Discord broke away from her, he saw that she had a small smile on her face. Discord waved his paw over her, and everything began to change. Her black coat changed back to it's midnight blue color, all her cuts began to heal and disappeared. Her teeth were no longer sharp and went back to her small fangs. The large scar on her face began to fade. Her ears went back to their normal appearance and cutie mark switched back to the eclipse. Her wings didn't seem to get smaller though. The tips stayed black while the res stayed blue. Other then that she looked normal again. "Please come back with me. I can't stand seeing you unhappy, I want to take the pain away." Discord said in a quiet voice. Moonlight looked up at him, she wanted him more then anything. She slowly began to put more and more trust into him. Wrapping her hooves around him she could feel relief flood through her body. "Discord, I'm sorry......I didn't mean to hurt you at all. I could have stopped all of this from happening, don't leave me alone. I'll do whatever you say, I won't ever doubt you, I'll give you anything you want." Moonlight said with tears in her eyes. Discord's ears perked up. "Anything.........." He snapped his fingers, causing a small crown to appear. "Then I want you to wear this. If you really are my queen, show me." He gently put the crown on her head. "I want you to give me all your love. I want you to give me your life. Let me care for you, show me that you can do that." Moonlight got close to him and kissed him. "I trust you." Discord felt butterflies in his stomach. "I am never leaving you again." Moonlight felt herself being pulled closer towards Discord. She looked up at the crown on her head. Discord really wanted her to wear it, he truly wanted her to be his queen. Moonlight wanted to prove that she cared about him, not just by telling him, not just by wearing the crown. Discord noticed she was being very quiet. "Moonlight?......" He looked at her face and saw that her eyes were glowing white. Discord backed up, then he saw the small crystal on the crown was also glowing. He watched as she flew towards Luna and Celestia, he hid but watched everything. Celestia and Luna looked at her in terror. Moonlight flew straight towards Celestia's face. "Don't ever hurt him again......" She said in a loud voice. Celestia tried to hit Moonlight with her magic, but did nothing. Moonlight hit Celestia and Luna, and once again they were being tuned to stone. "I am the Queen of Chaos." Moonlight said narrowing her eyes. Then felt something touch her, it was Discord. Moonlight's eyes went back to normal slowly losing their white glow. Celestia watched in horror as the stone began to spearing over her body. She looked up to see Discord next to Moonlight, he gently touched a crown on her head. Then she watched as the two kissed. Just as the stone reached her face Celestia turned to see Luna's mouth was open in shock. "Well Discord, you finally found love." Celestia said with a slight smile. Then she was frozen, petrified in stone as well as Luna. A great flash of light covered everything. When it began to dim Discord opened his eyes again. Moonlight was on the ground in front of him, the crown was a few inches away. Discord picked up the crown and put it back on Moonlight. He took her in his arms, she had used so much power. Discord snapped his fingers and they were gone.

Discord appeared in the middle of the arena. It was very dark, but the was some light where he was standing. Then he heard many hooves. Nightmare Moon, Queen Chrysalis, King Sombra, and Moonlight's friends ran towards him. Nightmare Moon, King Sombra, and Queen Chrysalis stared at Celestia and Luna as statues. "She finished it." Nightmare Moon said. "What happened?" King Sombra asked. But Discord said nothing, Cotton Feathers noticed Moonlight in his arms. "Oh my goodness, is she alright?!" Discord gently put her down on the grass. "I believe so, but she went through more then I can say. She almost gave up everything......." Moonlight's eyes slowly opened. "Discord......" She called quietly. Discord's eyes widened, he kneeled down towards her. He wrapped his arms around her. "Don't scare me like that!" He said in a nervous voice. "Discord.......I feel so......tired....." Discord smiled. "You don't have to worry about that." He put his claw on her casting a spell causing her to fall asleep. Then he vanished. Everyone watched as the arena began to disappear. Nothing was left. One by one everything began to disappear.

Discord carried Moonlight up to their bedroom. He put her on the bed and gently kissed her on the forehead. She had already proven how much she loved him many times. Now he was going to show her the same. He took the crown off Moonlight's head and placed it on a table floating next to the bed. He wasn't letting her leave him again. Finally, everything was back to normal, well sort of.....everything was back to it's chaotic state. Discord remembered when he was trapped in stone. "No matter what it takes, you will be free. No matter what the cost, I will free you. My hatred for Celestia and Luna grows as does my chaotic power. The skills you showed and gave to me I will use to destroy their harmony. The kindness you showed to me I will never forget. For the ponies that mocked me and believed me to be a monster, you showed me that it has other meaning. The monster ponies thought you to be is what I have become, I will never leave you. For my chaotic love never dies. Your return shall arise. When you take me in your arms. And wipe my every tear. You sooth me when I am angry. And calm me when I am in fear. I am your Queen of Chaos. And my love for you shall never, ever die......." Those words whispered in his head. Nopony had ever said anything like that to him before. All the things she had done, she had set him free when he had been turned to stone, she had defeated Dark Chaos, she had now gotten rid of Celestia and Luna three times, she had been willing to give up her happiness by marring Ink Illustration to let him and her friends go, she always did what he told her to do, she was willing to give up anything for him and one time it had almost cost her life. How far was one pony willing to go for him? They could never have gone as far as Moonlight had. If anypony had the skill to truly rule over a kingdom, it was her. Discord could not help but stare at her for a moment. The one question that had always stayed in his head, why had she chosen him out of every stallion in Equestria, he now truly knew why. She was different, and it made her outshine every other mare. She wasn't afraid to be herself. Discord had almost gotten so lost in thought that he didn't hear the hoof steps from outside. Discord opened the door to their bedroom and flew down the hall. At the end he found Stellaluna, smiling at him. "Hi Daddy." She said in a sweet voice. Discord put his arms around his daughter. "Sweetie, what are you doing here?" Stellaluna laughed. "I watched the game that you, Mom, and some of your friends were playing with Diamond Ring and Midnight Star. I thought you all did an amazing job. But I thought you and Mom were the best. Is she alright?" Discord nodded. "She's sleeping." Stellaluna nodded. "Diamond Ring loved the way you played, he said I was lucky to have you for a dad. I am too." Discord smiled. "Thank you, were you sister and brother watching too?" Stellaluna nodded. "Yes, Screwball, Disharmony, Topsy Turvy, and Flutterbreeze was there. They enjoyed every game." Stellaluna gave Discord another hug. "Goodnight Daddy. I need to go." Discord nodded. "That's fine. Goodnight Stellaluna." Then Stellaluna smiled and used her magic to leave. Discord sighed, she was still just as sweet as she was when she was a young filly. "That's my girl." Discord flew back into his room, he quickly glanced at the crown again. Besides the fact that there was a small stream of moonlight piercing through the window it seemed to sparkle. Even through all the time Discord had known Moonlight there was still something about her he felt was hidden, who was this pony that had fallen in love with him? He laid down next to Moonlight. "Sleep tight my queen." A quiet reply broke the silence. "I love you Discord. My King of Chaos."
