Middle school is tough- fillies and colts going from little foals to teenagers. The time between that, though, is awkward, dramatic, and overall terrible. It's even worse if you don't have your cutie mark during the time period. And a pony happening to be going through that is Scootaloo, other known as Chicken.

Scootaloo can no longer take the bullying. For months she has looked for an escape but couldn't find any. She has no parents to support her- she is all alone. So sad and hopeless, the teenage mare finds no other escape than to end her life.
