Blueblood the spiteful

"AUNT TIA!"

The throne room's door was thrown wide open by a blue aura as Blueblood rushed into the area. Celestia looked up from her documents as Blueblood skid to a stop.

"Blueblood, what is the meaning of this? I have informed you of a very important meeting amongst the princesses, and cannot afford disturbances." Luna spoke as she waved a hoof around the room, indicating that Cadence and Twilight were present.

He managed to glare at Luna before turning to Celestia. "Aunt Tia! Surely you must be joking!" He panted, for once forgetting to comb his mane properly. It now had strands of mane sticking out in every direction. He stomped his hooves like a foal throwing a tantrum. "How could you?"

"Calm down, Blueblood. Surely we can know what is happening-" Twilight began.

"YOU!" Blueblood pointed an accusing hoof towards Twilight, who recoiled in shock. "How can you? A mere PEASANT? To be worthy of becoming ROYALTY?" A lock of his golden mane fell onto his face as his gaze was turned towards Celestia.

"Blueblood. Stop this foolish behaviour. She has proven to be worthy of being a princess."

"But Auntie!!!!" He whined. "Even so, I should be the one becoming an Alicorn. I'm from the royal family. You're my AUNT, for Celestia's sake! I should become a 'Prince of Nobles' instead of some measly, filthy peasant to take my place!"

"ENOUGH!" Luna walked of her throne. "THIS IS NOT THY PROBLEM. WE ARE ASHAMED OF YOUR FOALISH BEHAVIOR TOWARDS OUR SISTER'S PERSONAL STUDENT, ARROGANT NEPHEW! WE CANNOT SIT BY AND WATCH YOU RAMBLE ON, WHEN YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE TRUE MEANING OF HARMONY, BALANCE, KINDNESS AND FAIRNESS!!!"

"BE SILENT, NIGHTMARE MOON! YOU HAVE NO AUTHORITY OVER ME! MY AUTHORITY IS ABOVE YOU, FOR I AM A PRINCE! A VILLAIN LIKE YOU SHOULD NOT EVEN BE ALLOWED IN THE MAID'S ROOM!"

All was silent when Luna walked up and punched him in the nose, causing him to bleed.

"Hm..."

What is it, Moon?"

"I do not know, but it appears to be a major problem down in the Equestrian world." Moon said. "I can feel the Emotions of her running through me..."

"Don't worry. I am sure that our wielders will sort this out."

"Thank you, Sun."

"Yeah. I hope that my wielder can give her some cookies to calm her down. You know she's crazy about them..."

Earlier that day...

Blueblood was snoozing on his king sized bed when his servant, Dancing Sunrise, came in to serve him Breakfast.

"Your highness."

"Hmph" He groaned as he lazily dragged himself out of bed to eat. Dancing Sunrise placed a tray on the cool jade table.

"A glass of orange juice, a bowl of sweet celery and carnations from Manehatten and a plate of hay daisy sandwiches, just the way you like it. Your Highness."

"Call me your Mightiness, peasant." He took a sip of the orange juice, and almost immediately spat it out. "WHAT IS THIS? The orange juice obviously has some sort of germ in it, it taste's terrible! The bread on the hay daisy sandwich is floppy and unused! And worst of all..." He bent down to look at his celery.

"THIS IS THE WORST POSSIBLE THING! How dare you try to feed a royalty PHEASANT FOOD?"

"But your mightiness-"

"No Buts! This is terrible!" Blueblood looked at her as if she was something scraped off the side of the road. "You're Fired!!!"

"But your mightiness! I need this job to support my family!" Dancing Sunrise spoke as tears began to form.

"Na- Oh, go and cry somewhere else, commoner. You're ruining my carpet." He turned from the crushed mare, before she ran out and closed the door.

Dancing Sunrise ran past a pair of guards, before she bumped into somepony.

"Oh I'm so sorry I didn't me-" She glanced up and gasped. "Princess Twilight Sparkle!" She squeaked between sobs and bowed before her. Twilight stood in shock for a moment before reaching down to grab her shoulders.

"Please, don't bow. Call me Twilight."

"Yes, Pri- I mean, Twilight. *sniff*."

Twilight frowned. "You OK? Why're you crying?"

With that, memories of the morning came flooding back to Dancing Sunrise, and she broke down into tears again.

"You see... My husband and I divorced, so I'm a *sniff* - a single mom with a foal. She lives in ponyville, and I asked my Sister to take care of her. *Sob* But... but Blueblood happened. I was fired. For bringing the wrong breakfast!! Please help me Princess. I can't take this anymore! I need the Bits to pay for my Foal!" She wailed as she threw herself into Twilight's hooves.

Meanwhile...

"Stupid maid, got my precious carpet filthy..." Blueblood daintily walked over a tear stain and opened the door, only for another maid, Crimson Mind, to give him a stack of paper.

"Your morning paper, *Blueblood*." She said before Blueblood gasped.

"You... you peasants are not fit to speak my name like a filthy thing, which you are!!" He hollered in her face. "You're Fired!"

"Oh I think you did enough firing for today." Crimson Mind snapped. "I also work under Princess Celestia, so you have no authority of firing me. Deal with it, *Blueblood.*" With that she slammed the door in his face, as he gripped his morning papers, trembling with rage.

"Stupid mare..." He cursed as he used his magic to unroll the Free Foal Express.

HEADLINES OF THE DAY

Twilight Sparkle, a gifted unicorn from the School of Gifted Unicorns and an element bearer from the Elements of Harmony, has proven once again she is worthy of attention by COMPLETING one of Starswirl the Bearded's spells! By truly believing in the power of friendship, she has been promoted to Princess by Princess Celestia herself! The new Princess of Friendship will live in Ponyvi-

Blueblood dropped the morning papers, and sprinted towards the throne room.

Now back to where we were, Luna punched Blueblood because of the insults he thrown towards her.

"Cousin, how could you?" Cadence shook her head. "This is unacceptable! Aunt Luna has more autho-"

"OH YEAH?" Blueblood's eyes were now bloodshot. "She is no 'Aunt' to you OR me! She does not deserve that place! I only maintained this 'good behaviour' around mere peasants because you were SINGLE! That no good Shining Armour stole my rightful place as your lover! That no good PEASANT brother of yours!" He now pointed his horn towards Twilight, and charged up a spell. The spell was fired towards her, but it fizzled out before it could reach her.

Blueblood tried to cast another when somepony walked into the room.

"Twilight, I brought you a glass of-" Dancing Sunrise froze at the scene layer out before her.

Blueblood was standing in the middle of the throne room, with Luna off her throne, ready to pounce onto him. Celestia was stiff in her posture while Cadence began to charge up her spell. On top of it all, Twilight had her wings spread out to make her look more intimidating while she was standing on her throne.

'You..." Dancing Sunrise growled before Blueblood whipped his head around.

"YOU! But... you were fired!"

"No longer, Blueblood. Twilight here got me a new job, a better one." She snarked at him while walking right in front of him.

"That is enough." All eyes now turned towards Celestia. "Blueblood, you are no longer worthy to call me your Auntie. Your behaviour has let me see through your disguise. You will have no maid OR butler to serve you for the next year, and your room will be moved next to the guard's training arena."

Blueblood gaped in horror as Celestia continued.

"You insulted a princess, mocked my sister..." She turned towards Luna, who was on the verge of tears. "And attempted to assault a princess. You are now in deep trouble, Blueblood."

"But Auntie-"

"NO!" Twilight stood up. "You have no right to call Princess Celestia your Auntie, when she is clearly not! You are in for a looong punishment! Guards!"

With that a pair of Royal Guards came in and began to drag Blueblood away.

"No! Stop! Unhand me, you ruffians!"

"Sir, you are not allowed to order us. Princess Twilight has more authority over us." He said, a barely visible smirk on his face.

"No! I do have more authority than a filthy commoner! Stop! Unhoof me!" Blueblood wailed and pled as the guards dragged him out of the door.

...

"Well." Twilight huffed. "Does this happen often?"

"You have no idea." Celestia, Luna and Dancing Sunrise spoke up at the same time. A moment of silence passed before everypony in the room burst out into giggles.
