Blueblood the spiteful
Labor: Day 6 (Fluttershy)

The response to his statement was a series of inaudible squeaks. Blueblood sighed.
That morning he was checked out of the hospital with Spike escorting (dragging... "Ow, OWOWOW! MY MANE! Stop it!) him to Fluttershy's house. She opened the door and let him in, giving Spike a very nice pat on the head.
Blueblood looked around as he sat on the comfortable couch. A flight of wooden stairs on his right led straight up to the second floor, with an entrance nearby leading to the kitchen. The green, wooden floor had a red rectangular carpet nesting in the middle giving it a comfy look. Blueblood turned towards Fluttershy.
"So... What?"
Fluttershy's expression was unreadable because it was hidden behind her long, pink mane. She shift her mane, revealing her turquoise eyes. She mumbled something.
"Er... speak up, I can't hear you."
"Can you feed the animals...?"
"I'm sorry, you're just too soft; I can't hear you."
"Can you..." Fluttershy gulped. "Can you feed the animals?"
Blueblood blinked.
"That's it? No painstaking tasks that will cause me permanent damage for the rest of my life or drive me insane?"
She nodded.
"Well, that's easy. Just get some seeds and stuff for all of the animals and then I'm don-"
"Oh No." Fluttershy cut him off, drawing his attention.
"What now?" Blueblood asked, lifting his eyebrow.
"The birds need all of the seeds down at the bottom, and must be fed with 3 cups of pepper and cranberries. Mr. mice's family should be fed goat's milk cheese because I think that their children are lactose intolerant. Bruce the Bear needs his supply of fish that needs to be seasoned with salt and herbs, and plenty of honey. No pepper because it will make him sneeze, and he already has an allergy."
"The butterflies must be guided to the poppy fields down west for their nectar, and Pipsqueak the squirrel must Not eat bread because he's allergic to gluten, and Mr. Beaver needs you to bring his food because he broke his leg last week trying to make a dam."
Fluttershy took in a deep breath.
Blueblood stared.
"I mean... If thats Okay with you... anything is fine..." Fluttershy turned her head so that her mane hid her face again.
Oh boy... Blueblood thought.
"Er... Bruce!" Blueblood nervously called out, with Fluttershy standing behind him. Surrounded by his aura (A bit rusty... but can still be managed... ) was a plate of fish, that smelled absolutely horrible. Blueblood wanted to puke.
Soon, a huge figure lumbered out of the forest. Blueblood forced himself to stay still as sweat poured down his neck. A hoof was placed on his shoulder without warning.
"Ulp!"
Blueblood turned around and saw Fluttershy with a smile on her face... not the 'this is what you get for trying to hurt Twilight' look, or the 'I have more plans for you' look, but a genuine smile. His heart melted at the sight, and for the first time in many, many years...
... He smiled.
A small gust of warm air ran down his neck as a low growl was heard. He turned around to face the bear, and quickly backed up a few steps. The bear spotted the food, and Blueblood released his magical hold on it, the plate landing on the grass with a soft thud.
"It's Okay. He won't bite." Fluttershy took Blueblood's hoof and slowly guided it to Bruce...
Closer...
Closer...
Blueblood had his eyes shut tight, expecting his hoof to be chewed up like bubble gum. Instead, his hoof felt soft fur. He opened his eyes.
"Huh..."
"Thanks Fluttershy!" Blueblood gleefully waved at Fluttershy and walked back to the Library, heart soaring. His head felt as light as a feather, and he had a big smile on his face. He entered the Library, said hello to a very surprised Spike, and skipped like Pinkie all the way to Twilight.
"Hiya Twilight!"
"Gah!"
Twilight nearly fell off her ladder, but thankfully her pegasi instincts kicked in, and she gently landed on the ground.
"Twilight, you could have flown up there, ya know..."
"Oh, whoops." Twilight smiled sheepishly, her hoof rubbing the back of her neck. She looked at Blueblood.
"Say.. Why're so cheerful?"
"I don't know!" He smiled a bit more, and begin to skip around Twilight. "So, what can I do, huh?"
Apparently he was left in high spirits after the visit from Fluttershy. Twilight marvelled how she could have changed him to become... so Pinkie!
"Did someone think of me?"
"AAAARGH!"
Twilight jumped at the voice, turning to look at a very bubbly pink party pony...
"PINKIE! How did you get in here?" Twilight's eyes were wide with shock.
"Oh, silly. I came in through the door! Where else?" Pinkie replied, smiling. Twilight looked at Spike, who had a puzzled look on his face. He shook his head.
"But... but- how?" Twilight sputtered. Spike called out. "Forget it. She's Pinkie."
"Yeah! I need to make a party for Blueblood for 'Getting the first love of your life and becoming less of a meanie pants' party!"
"What?" Spike hollered. "Pinkie! He doesn't need a party! He doesn't deserve one! Besides, you have too many parties-"
"Oh yeah... Besides, I have a party almost every episode..."
"What?" Twilight asked.
"Week! I said week!" Pinkie immediately had sweat pouring down her face, looking around with a forced grin. Twilight stared, and then shrugged it off as 'Pinkie being Pinkie."
"So... he's in love, eh?" Twilight turned to look at Blueblood, who was trotting up the stairs, his horn occasionally popping out pink and yellow hearts.
"Heh... who would have known?"
