I saw a young filly sat before me. I needed to ask where I was but I couldn't push myself to do it. I was to intrigued at what she was doing. She lit a candle and began to write. She read aloud what she was writing about.
"I remember it like it was yesterday, though it was countless moons ago. After he was defeated not much of our once beautiful home was left." I couldn't believe my ears this filly, her face covered by a cloak, was reading my story?!? But I was frozen. I couldn't move. I wanted to hear if my story had an ending.
"But the two brave ones who stood up for us all ruled Equestria from then on. One day the younger one, saddened by our daily struggles, proposed to form a new colony where we would grown strong and happy. But the elder one for-bayed it for she felt it would divide and shatter the weakened kingdom forever. Nopony knows we are still here, smiling beneath the moonlight, whilst remember our dear mother for we will forever be her Children of the Night" The filly removed her cloak. It was Gari!?! Gari knew how we got here, and she knew where we used to live. I couldn't believe that she had never told any of us. At that point I blink and suddenly I was in the middle of a courtyard. In front of me was a statue of an alicorn. I couldn't make out who she was because almost immediately a haunting song rang throughout the town I was in. I looked towards the noise and saw mother flying off of a balcony. I rushed to where she was heading. I turned a corner and saw mother walking through an orphanage. I followed behind her and saw three fillies whisked out of a window. I recognised them but... I felt dizzy... My head... Falling...
I pulled Candle Light closer and leant forward to kiss him. He eyes were beautiful and his flame hair shone in the moonlight. And then I woke up. I decided to get up and write in my diary.
Dear Diary,
I had the same dream again. The one about Candle. I should finish that story I was writing.

I flipped the page to my story. I started it a year ago and never finished. I showed Mother the first bit on my birthday last year and promised to finish it by my birthday next year. That would mean I needed to finish it by tomorrow. I read it aloud even though it was the middle of the day and every pony else was sleeping.
"I remember it like it was yesterday, though it was countless moons ago. After he was defeated not much of our once beautiful home was left." I stopped. Somepony was waking up. I saw Gari's head rise from her bed. I quickly flew into bed before she could see me.
Later that day I woke back up and returned to my desk. But my diary was gone. All my secrets and thoughts, GONE! That's when I saw light coming from they boys' room. I walked in and saw Candle Light, the one I had written that I had my dream about, reading my diary! My life had just ended. He turned and looked at me whilst I was opening the door to his room.
"Is this true Maggie? That you dream about me?"
I didn't answer. I felt dizzy and I toppled over. I blacked out.
