The bell ringed, and Scootaloo put all her things in her saddlebag. She brought her saddlebag to lunch this time, considering she would need it and not bother going to her locker. At the lunch table, was one more pony Scootaloo never met before. The atmosphere felt different.

She got her food from the stand, and walked over to the table. She sat down next to Dinky this time, with Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and the other pony sat across.

"Hiya", the other mare said, waving. She had a short pink mane, pure green eyes, and her cutie mark was three apple seeds. She had one black piercing at the bottom of her ear. The pony grinned like Pinkie Pie.

Scootaloo looked over at Dinky, who introduced the new pony.

"This is Babs Seed, she's Apple Bloom's cousin", Dinky said. "She just moved here from Manehattan."

"Hey, I'm Scootaloo", Scootaloo said, biting an apple.

"I heard about your er, story. And I wanna apologize for all the things that happened to your family", Babs said.

She obviously read Equestria Daily. That annoying reporter just had to snoop the family down, didn't he?

"That was a long time ago", Scootaloo said, placing her apple on the tray, considering her interest of eating had faded away immediately.

"How's Sweet Apple Acres?" Dinky asked.

"Applejack's been working less and less, considering she's been seein' some colt she fonds", Apple Bloom said, rolling her eyes.

"Is It Trenderhoof?" Sweetie Belle asked. "If Rarity finds out, she'll be angry as buck."

"Most likely. I'm finding Mane Spray in the bathroom, and y'all know I don't use that chemical", Apple Bloom said.

Scootaloo zoned out from the boring conversation. The bell rung, and all the ponies evacuated the cafeteria to their classes. Scootaloo waited till the crowd left, until she left. She hated the crowd.

"Today class", Miss. Pommel said. "We will be doing a class project. Considering it's your second day of school, you kids can interact with each other for the period of class. Yesterday's project was made for today, my apologies."

The class got up and started chatting. Scootaloo just sat at her desk and stared at the tile floors. But suddenly, a pony tapped his hoof on the desk. Scootaloo looked up to Rumble.

"Can you come after school?" Rumble smirked.

"I need to go home first and do my chores, but most likely", Scootaloo said.

"Why go home when you can just come?" Rumble said.

"Cause I promised my mom", Scootaloo said, looking at the tile floor again.

"See you later", Rumble whispered in Scootaloo's ear, before walking over to some of the colts in the class.

Mom better of fixed out that practice with Rainbow Dash.

Scootaloo walked the path home to school, her saddlebag extremely light today. She saw a shadow coming up next to her, and she looked at the pony who walked with her. Babs.

"Hey", Babs said. "Mind if I walk with ya?"

Scootaloo shook her head. Babs didn't talk, but Scootaloo didn't talk either when she walked with Dinky. Dinky usually did the talking. The two both got up to Sweet Apple Acres, when Scootaloo saw a extension to the barn.

"They did some renovation for the pigs", Babs explained. Scootaloo nodded.

Babs waved before she went inside, Scootaloo waved back. She got up to the cottage, and she walked in.

"Hi mom!" Scootaloo yelled. No answer.

Fluttershy walked in from Scootaloo's room with a broom. "Hi Scootaloo", Fluttershy said, flying down the stairs.

"Did you get to reschedule the practice?" Scootaloo asked.

"Yes, it's tomorrow", Fluttershy smiled.

"Thanks mom", Scootaloo said. She quickly fed the chickens, and kicked some clouds. Scoot flew to Sugar Cube Corner after saying goodbye to Fluttershy, and looked for Rumble. She found him, sitting on a stool. But the only part that was odd was, Babs sat next to him. They both had milkshakes, also they were talking and laughing. Scootaloo sighed. She came over to Rumble - and Babs.

"Hey Rumble", Scootaloo said.

Rumble jumped, and turned around on his stool.

"Hey", Rumble said.

"So uhm, you wanted to hang out?" Scootaloo said, swaying her left front hoof.

"Yea", Rumble said. "Rainbow Dash asked me if you and me wanted to train and stuff. I heard you wanted to be in The Wonderbolts, so why not?"

Babs Seed got up. "He was telling me about it while I was delivering apples", she said, holding up a empty sack.

Rumble signaled Scootaloo to come. They both flew up to Rainbow Dash's house, and knocked. Rainbow opened the door with her whistle wrapped around her neck.

"Are you kids ready to fly?" Rainbow Dash smiled.

"Yes ma'am!" Scootaloo said. Rumble nodded.

"Twenty laps around my house, go!" Rainbow Dash whistled.

The two Pegasi flew around the house, both getting competitive. When twenty laps was up, Rumble landed first at Rainbow Dash's house, and Scootaloo landed a second later.

"Amateur", Rumble chuckled.

Scootaloo slapped him with her wing, chuckling also. Throughout the day, Rainbow Dash trained them until their wings were soar. Scootaloo and Rumble both relaxed on a cloud over Fluttershy's cottage.

"Nice training today", Scootaloo smiled.

"Same to you", Rumble said, smiling back.

"Do you wanna train again soon?" Scootaloo asked.

"Definitely", Rumble said.

But from the ground, one particular pony from the Apple family watched in amusement and jealousy.
