Brothers Until The End

Location: Unknown; Underground

Time: 8:00 pm

Objective: Unknown

Deep below the surface of Equestria three silhouettes have made it to their camp, fires lit up the caves and rows of tents with a giant structure behind the camp with lights brightening the caves. As the three were walking through the camp one of their wrist communicators. The one in the middle tapped a button on his communicator as he heard a voice come from the other side.

"Commander, Admiral Yarl would like to see you ASAP." said his wrist communicator.

"Thank you trooper." said the Commander to the trooper in his communicator.

"Your welcome sir."

The communicator shuts off as the three started walking toward the giant structure passing tents with sleeping troopers. These troopers were Clones who wore white armor with a utility bealt and a white helmet with an "I" shaped visor. The three Troopers walking were two commanders and one captain.

"What do you think the Admiral wants us for Fox, he usually never calls us unless it's something important." said Cody who was a commander with yellow stripes and a yellow peak on his helmet.

"Who knows maybe we're all finally going to the surface." said Rex, who was a captain with blue designs and an antenna on his helmet.

"Don't get your hopes up it's been a millennia since we've last been up there."

"Just curious to see what has changed."

Fox, who had the same design as Cody but red, was silent the whole time, he was thinking what the surface even looked like, yeah he heard stories from the other clones of how we were a great civilization but was forced to move underground due to a mysterious comet devastating the land. He thought of many descriptions of what the surface looked like, was it a wasteland, a field of organic life, or maybe a new kind of civilization.

"FOX!" screamed Rex snapping the commander out of his thoughts.

"Huh, what is it?" asked Fox shaking his head.

"We're at the cruiser." said Rex as Fox noticed they were in the flight bay of the giant structure. The flight bay consists of all of the clones vehicles for transporting supplies and soldiers like the BARC speeder bike , LAAT gunships and dropships, and the AT-TE.

"Oh sorry guys kind of spaced out there for a second." said Fox rubbing the back of his helmet in embarrassment.

"Sometimes I wonder what goes on in that head of yours." said Rex as they all chuckled and made their way up to the bridge. When the three clones got to the bridge there stood was another clone but his armor was different than the others. Instead his armor was a full blue with a blue robe, his helmet was like a spartan's, his visor was shaped like a 'V' ,and strapped to his shoulder was a long rifle. The three clones walked towards the admiral and stopped a few feet away from him and saluted to Admiral Yarl with respect.

"At ease, gentlemen." commanded Admiral Yarl who turned around to face them..

"What's the matter Admiral?" asked Cody.

"It seems that we will be making a return." said the Admiral

"A return where ,sir?"

"The surface." Everything went quiet at the Admirals answer as all the clones on the bridge looked at him in confusion. Rex stpped up to break the awkward silence.

"Sir, are you sure we are ready to go up there." said Rex

"I am more than sure." said Admiral Yarl as a clone trooper came running out on the bridge.

"Sir we have a problem." said the clone trooper out of breath and with a bit of worry.

"What's wrong?" asked Yarl

"Me and my squad was scouting in the tunnels for some minerals when we were ambushed by those dogs again and now has my squad captive until we hand over diamonds, I was the only one to escape." said the clone with sadness in his voice.  The Admiral growled in discuss these so called diamond dogs have been attacking clones and robbing them for months and now they're keeping some of them hostage threatening to kill them. Admiral Yarl put a hand on the clones should.

"It's alright it wasn't your fault, you did the best you can. Go down to the barracks and get some rest you've earned it." the clone nodded and left and turned back to the three clones he was talking to.

"It seems that our arrival will have to wait. I need you three to go and free those clones and bring them back, and don't hesitate to blast any dog that tries to stop you." said Admiral Yarl with seriousness in his voice.

"Sir, yes, sir!" Rex,Cody, and Fox screamed in union.

Location:Underground Caves

Time: 8:45 pm

Objective: Free captive clones by any means

The three clones walked silently through the caves until they made it to the location the clone squad was last heard of.  The three had their blasters pointed in every direction waiting for any kind of ambush from the diamond dogs.

"Hey get a look at this." said Cody kneeling down picking up a blaster pistol.

"Seems like were getting closer, keep your guard up." said Fox as an arrow landed right in front of him. The clones  instincts kicked into high gear as they quickly got to cover.

"White creature with magic sticks, give us gems now!" said one of the diamond dogs.

"How many hostiles are we looking at, Rex?" asked Cody.

"About six." Rex answered, "Time to lay some hurt." The three clones then peeked over their cover and pulled the trigger to their blasters firing blue plasma bolts at the diamond dogs as they fired back with spears and crossbows.  Rex aimed carefully and fired at one of the diamond dogs hitting him straight in the eye burning a hole through his skull in the process. Cody threw a flash bang blinding the rest of the dogs as Fox  advance on two of the knocking them both out with the blunt of his blaster. The three clones then advanced closer and returned fire on the two dogs. "Rex I thought you said there were six targets?!" screamed Fox.

"There are! Where did the other one go?!" asked Rex now paranoid of a surprise attack.

"Hold you fire!" screamed Cody as the three clones let go of their triggers and reloaded, only to see the third diamond dog escorting three other clones, which were the missing squad, with their hands up and spears pointed at their backs. "One lasts move and these guys gets its!" yelled one of the diamond dog threatening to stab the white trooper in front of him. Cody, Rex, and Fox all looked at eachother and nodded and put their blasters down slowly, walking towards the diamond dogs with their hands up behind their heads. The three dogs then surrounded them spears pointed until they were all knocked out by the three white clones that they foolishly left unguarded.

"Thanks for the help, sirs." said one of the clones while Fox handed them their lost blasters.

"Don't mention it trooper. Come on we need to get back to camp, todays the day." said Fox as the six troopers hurried through the caves returning to base camp.

As the six made it back to camp they saw that everything was being packed and boarded onto the massive vessel in the cavern. Cody, Fox, and Rex dropped of the three troopers to the medical area and boarded the vessel making their way to the bridge where Admiral Yarl stood hands behind his back watching as the cruiser was getting ready for take off and escape the underground caverns and return back to the surface of Equestria.

"Sir, we have everything and every clone aboard the cruiser and ready to take off at your command." said one of the clone officers .

"Excellent." replied Yarl as the bridge doors opened and walking in the two commanders and captain, "Ah, I take it the rescue mission was a success."

"Yes, Admiral." the three replied in unison.

"Good, because you made it just in time for the show." said Admiral Yarl with a sly grin, "Activate thrusters and aim blast cannons at the ceiling of the cavern, make sure our shield are at one hundred percent! We don't want to be buried in rubble before we get to the surface." The clone officers complied as the blast cannons on the ship rotated and aimed at the ceiling firing massive clue bolts making debris and rocks rain down on the cruiser but getting bounced away by the deflector shields. The cruisers engines then roared to life as the cruiser started to rise through the ceiling causing the whole under ground are and the surface to shake violently.

Location:Appleloosa, Equestria

Time:12:30 am

Objective: unknown

The residents of the western themed town were awoken violently from the unknown shaking, and started to panick praying to Celestia or Luna to save them. Appleloosa was in chaos as ponies and buffalo were in panic trying to save their loved ones or evacuate the town. Braeburn, an earth pony stallion, galloped quickly through the chaos and reached the sheriff's house. He burst through the door and was met with the sheriff.

"Sheriff, what in the hay is going on!?" screamed Braeburn.

"I don't know son, I never experienced anything like this in my life." replied the sheriff as a sudden boom rocked the house causing them to lose their balance. Brae shakily got to his hooves and helped up the sheriff.

"That didn't sound good."

Location: Somewhere in the Mild West, Equestria

Time: 12:45 am

Objective: Have the fleet emerge from underground

The ground was shaking even more violently as cracks were starting to form on the surface and slowly start to spread apart. The wild life animals in the area fleeing from the danger as several ships broke through the surface rising in the air. The hums of their blue engines echoing across the wilderness.

The Republic fleet was now hovering over the the surface of the Mild West with craters of where they once stood below them. The fleet consisted of Acclamator Assualt Ships, Republic Frigates, Ventor Class Star Destroyers, and a titanic Ventor Class Star Destroyer Mark II, called The Revelation .

In The Redemption Admiral Yarl looked over the landscape of the surface. I t has been so long since his kind returned to the surface, what has changed? Are the rulers of this land still alive? Is everything under tyrannical rule or just a baron wasteland after some disaster? Questions flooded Yarl's brain as one of the clone officers snapped him from his thoughts.

"Admiral, scanners indicate that their is a settlement near by." reported the officer.

"How far?" responded Yarl.

"About 250 miles from our location, do I have permission to order the fleet to advance, sir?"

"No, we have no idea who lives there. Send a small squad to investigate the town in the morning to investigate."

"Yes sir!"

Location: Canterlot, Equestrian Capital

Time: 1:15 am

Objective: unknown

Princess Luna watched on the balcony of the castle observing the disturbance she felt from the Mild West. She had just about to finish her watch and turn in to bed when she felt a magical disturbance from the direction that pointed to the Mild West. She squinted her eyes and noticing that the ground was trembling, feeling worried she looked harder and her eyes went wide in shock as she saw the massive structures burst from the ground. Luna with a feared look on her face rushed back in the castle and galloped to Celestia's room.

"Tis' can't be true, thy are supposed to be wiped out?" Luna said to herself as she burst through the doors to Celestia' bedroom instantly waking her from her peaceful slumber.

"Luna, what's wrong? You've look like you seen a ghost." asked Celestia with a yawn.

"Indeed we have sister. We are here to inform you that they have returned."said Luna with a stern look as Celestia was now wide awake and teleported from her bed.

"You mean-"

"Yes, the clones have returned." Celestia look only hardened as she tended to her window and looked out of it. She had heard stories from her parents when she and Luna were little about three thousand years ago, where they would travel out of Equestria to negotiate with the clone race and trade supplies with them. She will always remember the day when she first saw them, the creatures in white armor, and their leader in blue carrying strange sticks as their floating fortress floated above the city of Canterlot. Her parents had told her and Luna to stay in their rooms until the meeting with the clones were over. Being curious she had convinced Luna to sneak with her to the throne room and spy on the meeting when they got their thought they could hear yelling from the other side and footsteps coming towards the door. Celestia and her sister quickly hid in the vases by the huge double doors and watched as the clones came out, and from the looks of their walk they were not happy. They watched as the clones left the palace and went back in to their floating fortress and disappear in a flash of light.

A few days later word got out that the clones had simply vanished without a trace. No buildings, debris, supplies, or bodies just nothing like they vanished in thin air or they didn't exist at all. Soon ponies forgot about the white creatures and went on wit their lives, but not Celestia and Luna they wondered what they were like and was curious how they disappeared.

"Sister?" said Luna snapping Celestia from her memory.

"I- I'm fine Luna." said Celestia glancing back at her sister, "Guards!"

"Yes, your majesty?" said two guards as they quickly rushed in the bedroom.

"I would like you to fetch Princess Twilight and the rest of the Elements of Harmony tomorrow afternoon and bring them to the castle. We are going to have...unexpected guests."

"Yes ma'm, do you mind me asking who is coming."

"Hopefully no one rash." The guards nodded and quickly departed the room leaving the two princesses be, "Luna you should get some rest if what you say is true then, the clones would be coming here and I would like you here with me."

"Of course! I would be honored to! We always wondered how the clones acted and now we get the chance." said Luna with excitement, "Sister? Is something wrong are you not excited to see the clones as well?"

"I don't know, Luna, I mean why now return, and how or why did they disappear in the first place?"

"Calm yourself, I am sure all will be explained tomorrow, but for now ,like you said, we should get some rest, and get ready in the morning." Celestia nodded with a smile and nuzzled her sister as she left her room. Celestia sighed and returned under her covers and closed her eyes returning to her peaceful slumber.
