The Switcharoo spell

Rainbow Dash woke up to her alarm clock at 8 am as she always did. She sat up in bed stretched, turned off the clock and headed to the bathroom.

"Another day, another day to kick clouds" she said with a yawn. She turned on the shower and hopped in.

"I hope today is as easy as it was yesterday, I'm still tired." Rainbow yawned again and started to put shampoo in her main.

In the middle of doing to she felt something hard in the middle of her forehead.

"What this?" She put her hoof on it "Feels like a horn. I must be more tired than I thought, feeling like there's a horn on me." Rainbow laughed a little and continued with her shower.

When Rainbow was done she grabbed a towel and headed to the mirror above the sink, she yawned again.

"I don't think the shower helped, just made me more tired. Great." Rainbow took the towel and rubbed the fog off the mirror.

"Huh? The horns still there. Maybe I'm seeing things?" Rainbow touched it on her head. No it was very much real.

"That's weird. Did Princess Celestia make me a princess too?" Rainbow gasped, not because she was a princess now but because her wings were gone.

"My wings! My wings!" Rainbow turned her head to look at her side,then the other.

"What happened to my wings!?!" Rainbow touched her side to see if her eyes were tricking her.

"Maybe Twilight will know what happened to me! But one problem," Rainbow walked to her balcony at the entrance of her house. "How do I tell her if I can't get down?" She looked to the ground way below her. "I'd never survive that fall."

Rainbow walked back inside her house,wondering what she could do to contact her friends. Then she noticed Tank's propeller.

"That's it!" Dash ran to her study, well what she calls her study even tho she never really goes in that room. The only things in there are her books,a table with paper and pencils. The only reason she ever goes in there now is to read her Daring Do stories.

Dash grabbed a piece of paper and a pencil, and was about to start writing then stopped.

"Do I really want to send it to Twilight? Ya she'll get here but if I tell her what happened...Knowing Twi, before she gets here she'll go though all her books and who knows what'll happen by the time she's done." Rainbow dropped the pencil and rubbed her head

Then who? Dash thought

"Well if I go though the list of my friends I'll find somepony." Dash nodded happy with the idea

"First there's Rarity, if I send it to her, one she has no way of getting her and if she did there's a chance she take forever with 'how she looks' then my safety. So no Rarity,"

"Next there's Fluttershy. I can already see this as a no. If I send it to Fluttershy she'll probably just give it to some other pony which could take a while, and if I tell her to come right away she'd take forever to get here. So definitely no Fluttershy,"

"There's also Applejack, but her problem is that she has no way of getting here. So as the saying goes it take her forever. Well that's exaggerated but,ya. But Pinkie on the other hand.." Rainbow rubbed her chin "She'd be perfect! Not only would she get her fast, she also has balloons and a lot of them! I bet if she puts enough on her she'd fly right up here! Perfect!" Rainbow Dash picked up her pencil and began to write. She's also done it before now that I think about it,with Gummies second birthday party.

Dear Pinkie Pie,

Wait what's the point is saying dear!? It's an emergency! Oh well to late now. Dash thought,then continued:

I have no idea what happened to me but I lost my wings and got this horn instead and I have no way to get down, not to mention how long it'll be before I start to sink till I fall thought the cloud! So could you get here as fast as you could to come get me? Please? I don't feel like dying today, or any day.   Thanks Dash

"I just hope this works." Rainbow rolled the paper up and put a seal on to keep it that way. She then proceeded to head back to her from where Tank slept. As she was heading down the stairs they felt softer then usual.

"Oh no! I'm already starting to sink!" Rainbows heart started racing "Not good,not good,not gooooooood!" Rainbow ran down the stairs faster.

When Dash made it to her room, she put the letter on her bed and took a moment to catch her breath. After she got her breathing under control she started to wake Tank up, who was sleeping beside her bed.

"Tank wake up it's important!" Stephe shook Tank, but he didn't move. Then she shook him harder, still nothing.

"I'm sorry to do this to you buddy but you leave me no choice." Dash ran to the kitchen and gabbed a frying pan, then went back to Tank and hit his she'll as hard she she could.

Tank woke up unharmed, but surprised. There's wasn't a scratch on him,but for the frying pan there was a big dent in the middle.

"Well I guess I won't be using this frying pan again." Dash put it to the side "Okay Tank I know you're not the best flyer ever but this is an emergency okay?"

Tank just looked at Dash then licked her hoof. "This is no time to be affectionate okay? Now come on." Dash put the letter in her mouth then,with her hooves grabbed Tanks shell,then jumped and proceeded to fly. Only to hit the floor face first and land on her back.

"Right no wings." Rainbow said dizzy. Tank who was also on his back from the fall looked at Dash and licked her muzzle.

"I told you Tank no love right now! You can after you save my flank." Rainbow got up and flipped Tank over and put the letter in her mouth. She trotted over to where Tanks propeller was and put it on him.

"Okay Tank," Rainbow gave the letter to the tortoise "I know you aren't the best flyer around but I really need you to do perfect this time okay? I need you to get this letter to Pinkie Pie, as fast as you can. Okay?" Tank just looked at her

"I'll take that as a yes." Rainbow grabbed the propeller and pulled it as hard as she could. The propeller started and Dash gave the tortoise a push towards the door.

"Go Tank go! I'm counting on you!" Dash called after Tank "I just hope he can do it. Now to figure out a way to keep me afloat." Rainbow turned around and started to walked around.

Applejack woke up to the bright morning sun in her face,as it's rays shun in between the curtens.

"Morning already is it? Time for mah chores then." Applejack yawned. She got out of bed,put her hat on but it didn't feel right. Applejack tried to adjust her hat but it still didn't feel right. It felt like something was in the way of her hat.

"Well that's strange. What could possibly be in the way of mah hat?" Applejack walked to the bathroom across the hallway from her bedroom.

She looked in the mirror and gasped. "What in tarnashing!?" Applejack was looking at the horn that was poking out of her head

"When did that get there? Maybe ah'm just hallucinating,there's no way I have a horn" then she felt something on her back move and gently hit the back of her head. "Probably a prank Dash is pulling on me,and so early in the morning too." Applejack turned her head ready to yell at Rainbow Dash to find she wasn't there,and the thing that gently hit her head was a pair of wings attached to Applejack.

"Okay now that's just weird. What the hay is going on?" Just then Applejack heard a scream from Applebloom and ran to her room,and when she got there she couldn't believe her eyes.

"Sis what's happened to me!? Why do ah have wings and a horn!?"

"It's okay Applebloom, I'm sure there's a reason we got these here wings and horns. But I'm not sure why."  Then they heard a Granny Smith say something like a curse.

"Come on Applebloom." Applejack ran to where the sound came from with Applebloom right behind her. They came into the kitchen where Granny Smith was trying to get some jam from the cubboard. But she seemed to be having troubles reaching it for a horn was making her head to tall to fit.

"Why did ah have to put the jam at the very back? Now I can't reach it thanks to this darn horn and wings." Granny cursed

"Applejack," Applebloom looked scared "Why are we all turning into alicorns?"

"I'm not sure sugar cube,but I have a feel Big Mac is having a harder time then we are."

Outside Big Mackintosh was trying to get a cart of apples to move,but the belt wasn't fitting right.

Applejack,Applebloom and Granny Smith came up yo Big Mac to see he too had a pair of wings and a horn.

"Okay now something is defiantly wrong if we are all alicorns now." Applejack said looking at the three other ponies

"What's happening to us?" Applebloom asked still looking scared

"Ah don't know,but I'm pretty sure Twilight should be able to figure out what's happened to us."

"Yes but Ponyville is about half an hour from here Applejack, and besides with my busted hip ah'm afraid that it would take even longer." Granny Smith looked down

"Don't worry Granny everything will be just fine," Applejack smile at the elderly pony "Now Big Mac you help Granny and Applebloom here get to Ponyville,while ah go ahead to Ponyville ahead of you guys and I'll ask Twilight if she knows. Got that?" Applejack looked at her older brother

"Eeyup"

"Good," Applejack nooded "I'll see you ponies at Ponyville and hopefully with this problem fixed"

And with that Applejack started to run to Ponyville while Granny Smith, Applebloom and Big Mac going slower.

Fluttershy started off pretty normal. She woke up to the birds singing there beautiful morning song as she did every morning.

She made her bed and went to the kitchen and prepared Angel's breakfast, knowing him if he wasn't fed he gets very grumpy.

After she finished she put the bowl on the ground and went to go feed the other animals.

Some of the fish seemed scared of her along with some birds. A grizzly bear looked like it was going to attack her same with a few cats.

"My goodness,what's making some of you so scared of me?" Fluttershy asked as she was giving the dogs some food. They seemed to back away from her as she brought it over.

"I don't understand, what's making you all so scared?" But the dogs just continued to back away

"Approaching probably isn't the best idea, what ever is freighting you I'd probably only make it worse." So Fluttershy went back to her cottage to find ase every animal that saw her run and hide.

"My goodness what is wrong with all of you that's making you all so scared?" Fluttershy turned to Angel who had a half eating piece of lettuce and he was just standing there staring at Fluttershy.

"Angel what's wrong?" Fluttershy asked the small bunny as she walked up to him

"Is there something on my face? Is that what's wrong?" Fluttershy tried to see if there was something on her face.

Angel started to jump up and down while pointing at his forehead

"What is it Angel?" The bunny continued to point at his forehead

"You want a hat? A bandana?" Fluttershy tried to make out what the bunny was trying to tell her.

Angel continued to point at his forehead when he saw the coutch move from one side of the room to the other, along with many other things.

Angel started to jump and point at his forhead faster as furniture behind Fluttershy continued to move around

"Angel I don't understand what your trying to tell me." Fluttershy just looked at the bunny

Angel stopped jumping and pointing, and just grabbed a mirror and faced it at Fluttershy's face

Fluttershy squealed "W-w-what happened to me!?" The yellow pony staired at herself in the mirror in horror at the horn that was now attached to her head.

"When could have this horn possibly have shown up!? I don't remeber doing anything that could of made this happen!" Fluttershy turned around not wanting to look at herself anymore to find her living room a mess.

"What happened to my cottage!?" Angel came beside the now yellow unicorn and pointed at her

"Oh, it was me wasn't it?" She asked the white bunny. Angel nodded.

"Well what do I do? I've been a Pegasus all my life and now suddenly I'm a unicorn. This would also explain why all the critters were scared of me, without my wings I probably look like some weird freak pretending to be Fluttershy." Fluttershy sighed and sat down

Angel walked over with a picture of her and her friends. "What is it Angel?"

The bunny pointed to Twilight then the door.

"Oh you're a smart bunny Angel! Twilight should know why I have this horn. Good boy Angel." Fluttershy headed to the door but stoped right before she opened it

"But before I should clean this up." Fluttershy turned to start cleaning up her house when Angel pointed with an angry face back at the door. "Oh I know Angel bunny,but my house is a mess and I can't just leave it like this."

But Angel just continued to point out the door

"Okay,problem first house later." Fluttershy opened to door to find it was a mess as well. Fluttershy's eye twitched a little

"Okay now I'm defiantly cleaning this up. There's no way I can leave it like this, it would hurt all the critters." Fluttershy started to turn around to be pushed out the door. She turned her head to see it was Angel

"But Angel I have to clean up so the critters don't get hurt by the mess I probably made with this magic." But the white bunny continued to push Fluttershy.

"Oh you're right I should fix this problem so I won't make a mess again," Fluttershy started to walk and Angel stopped pushing

"But a little tidy wouldn't hurt." Fluttershy turned back to her cottage but Angel was in the doorway.

"Oh please Angel. Let me clean up just a little before I go see Twilight." Fluttershy pleaded. Angel just pointed to the path

"Oh okay I guess not," Fluttershy started to walk down the path to Twilight, the looked at Angel.

"Just-" Angel pointed at the path angerly.

"Oh okay I'll be going then." Fluttershy walked down the path to be hit in the hind with a pillow.

"Oh yeah I should go faster." Fluttershy then started to run.

Angel just rolled his eyes and went to get the pillow.

Rarity hit her alarm clock to turn it off. She took off her eye mask she wore every night and proceeded to try to wake up.

"Oh last night was so long," Rarity held a hoof to her head feeling dizzy as she sat up.

"Eighty dresses wasn't easy but I did it. Tho I felt like I was going to pass out a few times." Rarity got out of bed and went towards the dresses. There's was one dress hanging by her fabric that just needed a few highlights to it.

"Now I believe that I was going to add some silk to it." Rarity looked over at her ribbon of silk and she used her magic to bring it over to her, but it didn't move off the table. Rarity tried again but harder but it didn't even budge.

"Well that's odd," Rarity walked up to the ribbon and tried to pick it up with her magic but it didn't move, Rarity then picked it up with her hoof.

"It hasn't gotten heavier. So why isn't my magic working?" Rarity grabbed a pencil and put it on the table, she tried to pick it up with her magic. The pencil didn't move.

"Why isn't my magic working? The only other time is wasn't working was when Ponyville was being invaded by the Everfree forest, and when Tirek stole my magic but none of that is happening, and Tirek is locked up so he couldn't have taken it without me knowing." Rarity walked up to her window and saw no invasion happening.

"So what could be causing this?" Rarity walked to the mirror in her room and gasped in horror.

"W-w-wha-what happened to my horn!? It's gone!" Rarity looked at where her horn used to be and now there was nothing but her muzzle and her mane with nothing in between.

"N-now I have an ugly bald spot on my beautiful face! Ugly I tell you! It's hideous!" Rarity spat, disgusted with how bald she looked.

Tears began to form in her eyes and she feel to the ground sobbing.

"I-I'm hideous! Hideooouusss!" Rarity weeped then she noticed something on her back. She stood up and turned to look in the mirror.

"Well look at that, I have myself some wings now!" Rarity opened her wings up and flapped them twice.

"And don't I look dashing in them," She looked at both sides of her in the mirror "I guess it makes up for me losing my horn, for I look absolutely stunning with these!" Rarity smiled then looked at where her horn used to be

"But I'm still baaaallldd!!" Rarity fell down and started to cry.

"I was so beautiful with my horn and now I'm hideooouus! I want my horn back so I can be beautifuuul!" Rarity continued to cry then stood up and looked at her wings.

"But if I want my horn I'd probably have to give up a dazzling wings." She flapped them slowly

"They might not be as dazzling as my last pair at Rainbow's flyer contest but there's still gorgeous." Rarity stopped crying and thought for a moment "Wait why do I even have wings? When did I get them and why? It's just not right, for a unicorn to suddenly lose her horn and gain wings. I'll have to ask Twilight about this."

Rarity went to the door and down the stairs where she found Sweetiebell with wings as well

"Look Rarity I have wings! Isn't it cool?" Sweetiebell asked happy

"Well yes but, Sweetie do you even know where you got them? Or why you lost your horn?" Rarity asked her younger sister

"No, I guess not," Sweetiebell sat down "The thought didn't even come to mind."

"Well anyways Sweetiebell,I'm going to go talk to Twilight about this problem. Want to come with me?"

"Wait so your saying you got wings too!?" Sweetiebell looked up at her sister surprised

"Well I'm afraid so,and that's exactly why I'm going to see Twilight about this matter. If anyone has an idea on how to fix this it would be her." Rarity went out the door and headed to Twilight's new castle

"Wait for me Rarity!" Sweetiebell ran after her older sister

It was peaceful that morning in SugarCube corner. Pinkie pie slept in her bed with her head in a bag of candy, which was her late night snack last night. As the hands on her clock hit 8:10am her alarm went off. First the poof of confetti then the consent ringing as the clock did it's job.

Pinkie pie jumped out of bed wide eyed ready to start the day, to find everything totally black.

"Did I set the alarm off at the wrong time or is it winter outside?" Pinkie wondered

"But it can't be winter it's the middle of spring!" Pinkie knocked her head a few times with a hoof "Silly pinkie." Pinkie giggled and pulled the bag off her head.

There was candy in the pink ponie's mane and some fell on the floor. Pinkie stuck her tongue out and quickly ate some of the candy. After she finished munching the candy she turned the alarm off and as she did the clock poofed out confetti.

Pinkie giggled and put the rest of the candy in Gummies bowl for him to eat when he got up. When she was done Pinkie bounced to the door to get a glance of herself in the mirror. She stopped and looked at herself to find a lollipop in her mane, luckily the candy part wasn't in her mane or the candy wouldn't be good anymore.

Pinkie pie took the lollipop out of her mane and put it in her mouth and started to go out the door. But as she was half way through her jump she stopped and looked back at herself in the mirror. Something was off about Pinkie's appearance but she couldn't place what. As Pinkie continued to observe herself, something started to hit her window. She turned her head towards the window to find Tank bagging against her window.

That's weird. Why would Tank be here? He's supposed to be with Dashie at her cloud house. Pinkie thought curious,she trotted over to the window and let Tank in. Tank ladded on Pinkie's floor with a flop and handed Pinkie the letter.

"What's this Tank?" Pinkie ask picking up the letter. Tank just opened his mouth then closed it.

"A letter from Dashie?" Pinkie tilted her head and opened the letter.

But instead of what you would expect from any friend to do, Pinkie just giggled as she looked over the paper. As she looked over more of the paper she just continued to giggle, no reaction at all but the giggling.

Tank who was confused slowly walked up to Pinkie and pushed her leg a little. Pinkie stopped looking still the paper at looked at Tank,who just stared at the Pink pony.

"Oh don't worry Tank, I wasn't laughing at what Dash wrote. I'm laughing at the paper." Pinkie smiled at the tortoise. But Tank just looked a her worried. "Okay I'll read it now," After quickly reading over what Rainbow Dash wrote Pinkie gasped.

"Oh my gosh! Dashie's in trouble!" Pinkie turned to her wardrobe.

"Prepare the balloons!" Pinkie yelled

Pinkie ran to her wardrobe and began blowing up balloons with helium. After she was done Pinkie ran to the window she opened for Tank to get in.

"Come on Tank! Let's go get Dashie!" The pink pony looked confidant. Pinkie jumped out the window with Tank close behind and the two went to Dash's house.

As Pinkie and Tank flew higher and higher, Rainbow's house came into view.

"Come on Tank! We're almost there!" Pinkie yelled behind her "we should go faster! I'm looooooving this!" Pinkie yelled at the tortoise who was already falling behind. Pinkie started to fly faster and faster that before she knew it she was at Rainbow's house.

"Oh look we're here," Pinkie stopped and landed on the soft cloud and knocked on the door.

"DASHIE!" Pinkie yelled "ARE YOU HERE!?" And then it hit her

"Oh no! Maybe we were to late! Maybe Dash already fell to the ground! And ended in a splat!" Pinkie started to freak out

"Or..or maybe when she hit the ground she started to call to me, but I was to slow, so, she as she was dying she started to hate me!"

"Pinkie,"

"And because she started to hate me, now she'll never be able to rest in peace!"

"Pinkie!"

"And it's going to be all my fault just because I wasn't fast enough to get to her! Or maybe-"

"Pinkie pie!" Rainbow yelled at the pink pony at her door.

Pinkie stopped the weird gestures she was making and looked at the door to see the blue Pegasus well unicorn now, standing at the door only a couple of inches in the cloud.

"Oh my gosh Dash!" Pinkie went up to her non dead friend and hugged her. When she stopped Pinkie smiled.

"I brought the balloons!" Pinkie handed the balloons over to Dash

"Thanks Pinkie for getting here so fast,I'm glad Tank got to your house." Dash smiled and noticed Pinkie had a horn too,along with something else strange.

"Hey, Pinkie, can you move the balloons to your right more?" Dash asked looking above her horn.

"Uh..sure," Pinkie moved her hoof to the right away from her face, not sure why.

Rainbow Dash's eyes grew big "Uh...Pinkie, why don't you have balloons on your back?" Dash asked

"Well why would I?" Pinkie said

"Well simply put because you're an earth pony. Well unicorn now. So you can't fly without-" Pinkie pie opened up her pink wings and Rainbow just looked in surprise as her friend had wings and a horn.

"Like I said Dashie. Why would I need balloons if I have wings?" Pinkie asked flapping her wings a little.

"You....you...you're an alicorn?!" Dash stamperd

"Well I guess. Having wings and a horn would make me an alicorn." Pinkie gasped "Maybe princess Celestia will give me my own kingdom like Twilight!" Pinkie liked the idea

"Wh...why do you get to be a princess while all I get is this dupy horn?" Dash looked at the cloud depressed

"Don't worry Dashie," Pinkie got closer Dash "You'll get your wings back don't worry." Pinkie gave Dash a big smile and handed her the balloons

Dash smirked and turned so her side was facing Pinkie "Thanks Pinkie." Pinkie tied the balloons to Rainbow Dash's back

"No problem!" Pinkie smiled and flew up a bit.

Dash sighed, she hated not being able to fly. Not to have the wind blow though her mane and coat. But it couldn't be helped.

Dash locked her door and walked to the edge of her cloud patio.

Just as Rainbow was about to jump Tank finally made it back.

"Oopsie. Guess I left Tank far behind." Pinkie giggled

"Well he is kinda slow," Dash smiled at the tortoise as it landed on the cloud beside the blue unicorn. "Sorry Tank you were a little slow that we're going back to Ponyville now." Rainbow Dash jumped off the cloud and started her slow desend to the ground with Pinkie and Tank right behind her.

Twilight was looking at a window Why am I looking at a window? thought Twilight

Twilight raised her head off the desk and a book stuck to chin. Twilight took the book of her chin and put it on the desk. The cover said Gravity with a picture of the earth

Right I was studying last night Twilight got off the chair and headed out of the library.

"Must of fallen asleep." yawned Twilight

It's been a little under month since the return of Tirek and some of Equestria was still shaken up, but life is going good. Even tho it's been a month since Twilight got her castle she still wasn't exactly used to it, the thing that was still the strangest was that all the tourists Twilight has been getting lately.

Twilight walked down the many halls and made it to the kitchen. She still felt like she was sleeping, so, to help herself wake up and face the busy day that it was probably going to be again, Twilight was going to make herself some coffee. She not the usual type to have coffee, but today she needed that extra burst.

As Twilight got the pot to warm up the water in, she used her magic to get the coffee out of the cubboard. When Twilight took her head out of cubboard she noticed that the coffee wasn't there.

Guess my magic's tired too. Can that even happen?

Twilight filled the teapot with water, put it on the stove and turned it on.

Twilight was still confused about how the coffee didn't come out,she walked over to the cubboard where it should of came out of.

Twilight used her magic to open the cubboard,only it didn't open.

Okay this is just strange Twilight thought frustrated. She opened the cubboard to find the bag sitting there where it's supposed to be, except it wasn't supposed to be there cause Twilight used her magic to have it come out. Again Twilight used her magic to have the coffee come out but it didn't, the bag just sat these almost like it was moking her.

"Okay, now this is just getting ridiculous." Twilight grabbed the bag and put it on the counter. As she stared at the bag Twiloght tried to used her magic to bring the milk, a cup and a spoon out, along with some sugar but again, nothing happened. Twilight tried again, but still, nothing happened.

Twilight growled with anger,then the pot started to do it's scream as the steam came out to say the water was ready. The purple Alicorn walked over to the stove and turned it off,at that same moment al she heard was someone yell "TWILGHT!!!" It sounded like Spike. Twilight walked to the door and looked down the hall on both sides,not seeing the little dragon anywhere.

But she heard it again "TWIIILIIIIGHT!!" It sounded like he was calling from the entrance.

Twilight went left and started running down the blue halls. Shortly ahead of the kitchen she turned right to turn left only a few seconds after. Weaving around the chairs her and her friends now shared, Twilight came to the big doors to find Spike pushing against a hole bunch of furniture.

"Spike," panted Twilight "what's wrong?" Twilight tried to control her breathing as the dragon answered "There's ponies out there,"

"So why not let them in?" Asked Twilight,curious.

"No,like, a lot of ponies. And they keep saying there races are mixed up." Spike turned around to push with his back.

"What do you mean 'races mixed up'?" Twilight asked, very confused

"Well I've heard some ponies ask why they're an Unicorn and why they're a Pegasus, and I think I've been hearing ponies ask why they're Alicorns. But I'm pretty sure I was hearing things." Spike looked at Twilight and his eyes grew big and his jaw fell open.

"Now that is strange," Twilight thought about it for a second then looked up at Spike to see his expression. "Now what is it?" Twilight looked at the dragon blankly

"I...think I get what those ponies are talking about now.." Spike just continued to stare at Twilight.

"Really? How? Come on Spike tell me." Twilight was excited to hear what her little assistant had to say

"Well..I think it has something to do with why you're an Earth pony Twilight." said Spike was the doors where pushed a little bit.

"Earth pony?" Twilight laughed "Dont be silly Spike, I'm an Alicorn not a earth pony. Look, here's my horn," Twilight tried to touch her horn but felt nothing but her mane. "And here...are my...wings.." Twilight looked at where her wings should of been,but weren't. Twilight's eyes grew big and she started to freak out

"M..my wings! My...my...my horn! What happened to them!?" Twilight started pacing "There's....there's no scientific reason for how this could of happened! Let alone how it happened," Twilight turned to Spike who was still pushing on the furniture "Spike give me a logical reason how this could of happened!" Twilight demanded

"Uh...magic?"

"That's the thing tho Spike! There is no spell that could do this to anypony! Let alone so many!" Twilight pointed to the window beside the door to hear a tap on it. Twilight and Spike turned there heads to see Rainbow Dash, with balloons tied to her back but no wings and a horn.

"Uh Twi? Not trying to sound rude or anything, but maybe you should worry about everypony else and worry about you later. Because judging by the weight of this door and the yelling I've heard, there's quite a lot of ponies out there." Spike gave a small smile

Twilight looked back at the window,Pinkie pie was now with Dash and she had wings and a horn.

Something real strange is going on Twilight turned back to Spike

"Okay. Spike let's put this furniture away and try to deal with these ponies." Spike gave a look of determination and nodded.

After Spike moved the last couch out of the way the door bursted open and ponies of all kinds came in asking question.

"Princess Twilight! Why is this happening!?" A purple Alicorn asked

"Twilight you have to help me! I can't make epic wubs without my horn!" A white Pegasus yelled. As the question came, Twilight looked over the crowd of ponies. There were many trying to push there way forward and others trying not to let ponies past.

"This must be the work of humans! Have my prayers been answered!?" Twilight heard one pony say

"Twilight! Twilight!" Twilight looked up to see Pinkie Pie pushing Rainbow Dash thought the top of the door

"We came as fast as we could." Said Pinkie pie pooping some of the balloons.

"Twilight darling!" Twilight turned her head to see Rarity pushing her way to the front of the crowd with what looked like Applejack behind her. When they made it out of the crowd Applejack walked up beside Twilight and fell down panting, she too had wings and a horn.

"Applejack what's wrong?" Twilight asked staring at her friend

"Ran....all way....from...Sweet...Acres..." Applejack tried to say as she continued to breath heavily

SweetieBell walked up to the tired pony and gently rubbed her back. "We ran into her on our way here." She continued to rub Aj's back.

"Well even for a pony like Applejack, that run is still long," Twilight looked up at her other friends

"Seems this spell is affecting everyone." Twilight looked at the crowed as they continued to ask questions.

"How do you think this even happened?" Rarity asked

"Ya Twilight! How do you think this happened?" Asked Pinkie as she popped the last ballon on Rainbow Dash's back. Pinkie also didn't seemed bothered by the fact that everypony changed species,more so like she was injoying it.

"To tell you the truth,I have no idea." Twilight have a sad face to her friends

All these ponies relaying on my knowledge to help them, and all I can do is sit and ask the same questions. Pathetic Twilight thought to herself.

"Well I know for one, that we're not going to get any answers with all these other ponies around." Rainbow Dash said finally on the ground.

"Ah have to agree with Dash on this one." Applejack said sitting now, her breath under control now.

"Well I have to agree with you there," Twilight mumbled to herself. She turned and faced the ponies who were still trying to get answers from her. With a breath Twilight raised her breath as she said,

"Citizens of Ponyville," Twilight waited as the crowed quieted down "I know you're all surprised and possibly scared of the change that everyone of you has gone through." There was a murmurs of agreement from the crowd "As much as I would be happy to give you the answers to your questions and why this has happened, I'm afraid I cannot for I do not know either why this has happened."

Please don't hate me when I say this Twilight took a deep breath and continued

"So I ask you to please bear with the situation and try to learn  your new abilities until it is fixed,and to also go back to your homes and try to act like today is like another day. It would be a great help while me, my friends and the other princesses try to figure this out." Twilight prepared for the worst the crowd of ponies could give her,but instead she heard some ponies say okay and the ponies began to leave the castle and head to there homes.

When most of the ponies were gone Twilight gave a sigh of relief.

"Well they could of taken a lot worse but I'm glad they agreed to trust us." Rarity smiled

"Well I liked it." Came a quiet voice from the door, everypony turned there heads to see Fluttershy

"So you finally made it then scaredy cat?" Joked Rainbow Dash

"Well..um." Fluttershy looked down

"Come on Fluttershy! Can't you take a joke? Don't take things seriously all the time." Said Rainbow

"I thought you knew by now that Fluttershy always did take them seriously. But can we leave the jokes for later?  And ah don't know about y'all but I don't like these here wings and horn. It's the most strangest thing ever since well Discord or Tirek." Applejack adjusted her hat to try and have it feel normal.

"Well darling, where do we start?" Asked Rarity

"Well," Twilight rubbed her chin "I might have something in my library."

"Then let's go look already! I want to get rid of this horn and get my wings back!" Rainbow started to head to the library with everypony else behind her

"Does this mean we get to go on another adventure?" Ask Pinkie as she jumped down the hallway while still flying.

The six ponies stared at the magic section in the library, it wasn't as big as the other sections but it was still quite big, four, one meter and a half long shelves.

"To think I could look at these books in a matter of seconds with my magic, now it's going to take hours even with all of us." Twilight stared in awe at how many books she really had.

"Come on Twilight,it's not going to take that long. Remember? Me and Fluttershy have magic now." Rainbow Dash tried to use her new magic to try and get some of the books down, but nothing happened.

"Well that's to be expected." Twilight looked at Dash

"And what's that supposed to mean?" Rainbow frowned

"Well, you just gained unicorn abilities, so, it would be natural that you wouldn't be able to use magic. Like all young unicorns. So this time there won't be magic involv-" a book fell right in front of Twilight with the tittle 'How To Magic; A Guide For Young Unicorns'

"Where'd this come from?" They looked up to see Pinkie flying in front of the highest magic book shelf.

"Ah Pinkie? What are ya doing?" asked Applejack

"Well Twilight did say no magic, but she didn't say anything about flying!" Pinkie grabbed two more books and dropped them.

"That could work, but do be careful Pinkie darling." Rarity went to where the books were and picked them up then moved to a table and started reading.

"Come on girls the faster we get though these books, the faster everything will go back to normal." Twilight caught the next couple of books Pinkie past down.

"Catch Fluttershy!" Pinkie yelled at the yellow unicorn as she past down five books. Fluttershy just tried to catch the first one but failed, and the next one. As the third one was coming down, a Fluttershy moved to far forward and it was about to hit her head when it gently tapped it. Fluttershy opened her eyes for she was prepared to be hit to see her unicorn magic had caught it and was now holding the other books up as well.

"Well  I'll be darned." Applejack said as her friend held up the three books with her magic and quickly had the forth one in its grasp as it was about to hit Fluttershy in the head.

"That's so unfair!!" Rainbow Dash threw her front legs out in frustration then bent them as she put her forehead on the floor. "Why does somepony like a Fluttershy have control over he magic, when a pony as awesome as me can't!?" Weeped Rainbow as she banged her head on the floor a couple of times.

"Looks like the great and mighty Rainbow Dash isn't so mighty after all." Smirked Applejack

"Can it AJ!" Dash stood up quickly and looked Applejack in the eye

"I-I'm sorry Rainbow. B-but to be honest, I don't know how I'm doing this, otherwise I would tell you." Fluttershy looked down as she headed toward the table the other two were at.

"Here Fluttershy! Have another one!" Said Pinkie happily as she threw another book at Fluttershy. As the book got caught in her magic the yellow unicorn turned her head and smile at Pinkie

"Th-thank you."

"Now. Who's next?" Pinkie pie looked at Rainbow Dash and Applejack

It was about one when Twilight and her friends got thought all the books. Twilight laid on her back and gave a big sigh, "Nothing! Absolutely nothing! There's not a single spell that's even close to this! Let alone a hint!" Twilight groaned

"Will I ever fly again!?" Rainbow banged her head on the table

"Well it can't be all that bad. Besides, don't I look absolutely stunning in these wings?" Asked Rarity as she examined her wings.

"There stunning." Applejack gave a blank look as she looked at the white Pegasus

"Ya I don't see what's so bad about this either." Pinkie cheerfully flapped her wings

"What I don't understand, is why it effected all of you but not me." Spike scratched his head in confusing as she flipped though the last pages of his book

"That's what makes this even more confusing!" Twilight rolled onto her stomach and patted her forehead on the floor

"Well why don't we-"

"Why don't we ask Princess Celestia?" Rainbow Dash asked before Fluttershy could finish

"Spike you did send a letter to her right?" Twilight turned her eyes toward the dragon as she kept her forehead on the floor

"Well I would of but I was to busy helping you guys to have time." The dragon put down his book

"So you mean to tell us that all this time you've been helping us, when you could of helped us by informing the princess of the situation?" Asked Rarity not exactly pleased

"You're my number one assistant Spike!" Twilight raised her head, and looked at the small dragon "so you could at least make some time to tell princess Celestia!" Just as Twilight finished, Spike spat out a letter sent from the princess.

"Well speak of the devil." Applejack passed the letter to Twilight as she sat up and read;

Dear Princess Twilight Sparkle,

I'm sure you're already aware of the situation, for it seems that all ponies in Equestria have changed species. I request you and your friends presents in Canterlot  immediately.

P.S When you arrive try to not be noticed by other ponies. Thank you

"Not be noticed? What's that got to do with anything?" Ask Rainbow

"I don't know, but it's probably because it's chaotic in Canterlot and if we get noticed we'd probably get held back." Said Twilight puzzled

"Well we can't just ignore the princess's request now can we." Smirked Rarity

"No we can't." Twilight put the letter down

"Then let's go!" Cheered Pinkie pie as she began to hop towards the door

"Not to be offensive, but ah kinda been wanting an adventure. Even tho the problem with Tirek wasn't that far behind us now, ah have just been itchen to get out." Applejack smiled as she followed the pink ponie.

"You and me both AJ." said Rainbow as she followed

"W-well if we must." Muttered Fluttershy as she followed slowly

"Come on Spike, I am a princess and your my assisntain so there's no getting out of this one!" Twilight looked determined at the dragon

"Yes ma'am!" Spike quickly saluted and got on Twilight's back

"As much as I love my wings,they simply will not do!" Rarity followed the rest of her friends

"I also hope Saphire shores can understand her order being very...very..late." Rarity muttered
