Author's Note

This Is my first fanfiction so constructive criticism is appreciated. :)
Also, sorry it's really short... it seemed longer in notepad.

Prologue

This mountain always had the perfect view of Equestria. It's a shame Equestria isn't much to look at anymore. Years of war and pointless fighting left the nation in ruins. The ponies that hadn't relocated lived in a broken world of crime and pointless violence. I had always loved Equestria, even after the war. Today isn't a day to think about that, today I'm going back, and I'm going to stop this all from happening. I don't want to leave, I want to save this world, but I promised her that I'd do this, and save everypony from suffering. I told the Princess to tell her that I kept my promise. I hope I'm able to stop this all from happening, and when she wakes up, she'll live in a better Equestria.
