Having long since traveled far from home, Karl found himself a Griffon adrift, traveling from place to place, in a world where he could never entirely find himself among friends. Long admiring Equestria, it was in Canterlot that the young warrior would try to make himself at home. His life as one of the few Griffons living in Equestria during this time, however, would soon prove harder than he had thought. As he struggles to prove himself to the ponies around him, his fate will take him along an uncertain road.
