Dead in civilization
Moral high ground
Previous ChapterNext ChapterTwilight and Rarity had gone out to go fetch a few items and books for when Trixe had woken up, they decided it would be best to leave Dead with Trixe for some reason. Dead didn't argue but she didn't enjoy being left in a house with a mare she had knocked out. After ten minuets of sitting on the sofa and occasionally stroking Rarity's cat Trixe began to stir. Dead hopped up in the sudden movement. "Ahhh! Wait..." Dead remembered that she was with company. "Hello! Sorry I bumped into you."
"Uhhh..." Trixe mumbled, she sat up and glanced around the room. "Where am I? What time is?" Trixe frantically asked.
"Oh its about half past six..." Dead started before Trixe jumped up.
"No! I can't be late! I can't be late!" Trixe yelled as the made a beeline for the door only to be stopped by Dead grabbing her with her magic. A now floating Trixe thrashed violently against the magic holding her. "Put me down! Put me DOWN!" Trixe yelled.
"Woah, Trixe settle down. Twilight will be over in a bit. No need to worry, after all you took quiet a bump." Dead calmly said. Now Trixe had stopped thrashing around and had settled in Dead's magical grasp. "That's better, now just relax Trixe." Dead brought Trixe over to the sofa and sat her down. Before Trixe could even open her mouth Dead began to massage her back. "Anyway, until they get back just relax."
"Uhh, why?" Trixe questioned Dead as she gently worked her back.
"I bumped you earlier which knocked you out cold. I figured I owe you. This is the least I can do." Dead sighed happily. "You know this is the first time I have massaged anypony..."
"It... Doesn't... Show..." Trixe mumbled as she gave up fidgeting and resisting.
"Mmmmm maybe I should give up the whole necromancer gig and just go find a spa to work at, I hear there is a nice one here." Dead said casually as she talked to Trixe. As a sinister idea formulated in her head.
"Nerco-whatsi?" Trixe moaned as Dead unraveled a large knot.
"Oh y'know, raising the dead and all that jazz. Rather depressing." Dead continued as she kneaded Trixe's back. After a brief pause Dead realized that she had rendered Trixe speechless, either that or she knocked her out cold. "Oh its okay, I don't bite... Much and that's only if I haven't had anything to eat." Dead joked and started to laugh as her stomach let out a large rumble. "Oh yeah, I was asleep for two weeks..." Trixe twitch slightly as Dead's stomach continued to bark, howl and groan.
"You're not going to sacrifice Trixe... Are you?" Trixe said as Dead paused her massage. Dead chuckled, Twilight had told her that Trixe sometime refereed to herself, and she also told her that Trixe could be a bit abrasive at times.
"No, well not unless I want to feast on that dark energy inside you." Dead said in a serious tone, however she was just trying to joke with her. "Yep, that amulet filled you with a evil energy that I could just gobble up!" Dead sung happily "However I could do with a nibble..."
"No! Please don't eat Trixe!" Trixe said as she tried do get up, only to be stopped by Dead's magic. "No! Please Trixe will be good! She had already promised to Twilight! Please!"
"But you look so delicious!" Dead whined. "Just a tenney-tiny nibble on your soul perhaps?" Dead joked as her muzzle traced above Trixe's pinned back and faked smelling it. "You smell so yummy I could just devour you here and then take over Equestria!"
"N-no! Please don't, Trixe join you! You don't need to eat me if I am on your side! Just don't eat me!" Trixe pleaded as Dead traced her hoof against her her back. "Nggghhhhh Don't, please Trixe knows where they took the amulet! You don't need to eat me!"
"Hm, I know. Because I took it, that is how I can recognize its magical trace. And you are covered in it. Mmmmmmm if I could just have a hint of the energy..." Dead continued to suppress her laughter as Trixe started to struggle, this only caused Dead to increase her magical grip and stop the struggling mare. "Please do struggle, it only makes me feel more in control. And I looove to be in control."
"No! Please, just let Trixe live. Trixe will do anything, anything at all!" Trixe flailed around. "I don't want to die!"
"Oh no, I wouldn't kill Trixe, I would have Trixe in my house and Trixe would work of course. With the others..." Dead said darkly as she allowed a sinister grin to overtake her.
"Others?" Trixe asked shakily.
"Oh yes, the other skeletons. You won't be alive so to speak. But you will certainly not be dead and gone. The living require feeding, sleep, food and health care. Oh the health care."
"Trixe doesn't want to be a skeleton... Please, anything! Teach me, leave me or use me as a hostage! Just Don't..."
"I wouldn't think of it... The hostage idea sounds lovely... I wonder how long it would take them to realize that you weren't coming back." Dead cackled like a madmare, for the first time in years she cackled. And she loved it. "You know Trixe. You know my secret, I can't really let you... Live."
"But, you were so nice to Trixe..." Trixe stuttered.
"Of course, but then I spilled the beans. Trying to be nice and not blow my cover. However now that I think about it, it wasn't your fault."
"No, I wasn't! You should let Trixe go! Trixe will not tell another soul of your secret!" Trixe pleaded as Dead kept her pinned. "Just let me go..." Trixe started to give up.
"Oh no I could never do that. However thinking back... I could use an apprentice, somepony to clean the ritual room after I have used it." Dead smirked. "I just can't let you go. No, no What should I do with you..."
