Dead in civilization

Dead casually strolled through Ponyville, with a broken Rainbow Dash on her back. Sure Dead was getting a ton of strange looks, but that didn't matter... Much. Dead soldiered on, until somepony stood in front of her. Dead glanced up to see who was in her way. An unfamiliar face gave Dead a worried look.

"Hey are you two alright?" Dead looked at the mare, given her cheery demeanor and cutie mark she was Miss Cherilee, the teacher.

"Yeah, I just broke Rainbow. Nothing to big." Dead chuckled, but the serious look on the school teachers face made her stop. "But seriously its fine, I'm just taking her to the library." Dead readjusted Rainbow so that she would not fall off her back. "Yeah..."

"If you say so, by the way I'm Cherilee." The teacher held out a hoof for Dead to shake it. "I don't think we have been properly introduced."

Dead took the hoof of the teacher and shook it polity. "Pleasure to meet you Cherilee, I'm Dead. You may run away screaming in terror now." Dead joked. The teacher gave Dead a perplexing look. "Oh didn't you know, I'm a necromancer." The teacher continued looking clueless. "Oh yeah I forgot that not many ponies know what necromancy was. Don't worry too much about it, unless..."

"Wait, you were that pony that summoned all those skeletons!" Cherilee half shouted out.

"Yup, that was me." Dead proudly admitted. "You can now run away screaming in terror knowing that there was a good reason!"

Cherilee chuckled. "I don't see any reason for that, I mean it does look like you are kidnapping the element of loyalty..."

"Shhhh, not so loud! I don't want everypony to find out my evil plan!" Dead jokingly said. Cherilee got the joke and chuckled slightly. "Well I got to run, I don't want Rainbow to wake up and start panicking." Dead waved goodbye and continued onto the library. "Well that was nice. I didn't know ponies weren't petrified of me." Dead said happily.

Dead continued walking towards the library, par a few odd looks the trip was uneventful. Dead arrived at the library and knocked as calmly as she can.

"Twilight! I think I broke Rainbow!" Dead called out, trying to suppress a laugh. Moments later the door swung open and Dead happily walked in. Once inside Dead gently placed Rainbow on the sofa and sat down. "I would not recommend doing that, my spine feels like it is going to collapse." Twilight shut the door and inspected Rainbow.

"Dead what did you do to her?" Twilight asked as she inspected the pegasus.

"Well I told her what she wanted to hear, something I tend to do a lot. And I think I overloaded her. Just a teeny tiny bit." Dead chuckled happily. "I hope she is okay, I really do. I just don't think she saw it coming." Dead gleefully said.

"She looks alright, save the fact that you knocked her out cold." Twilight placed her her hoof on her chin. "I don't know how to wake her up. Do you have any ideas?" Twilight asked.

"Just one Twilight." Dead sighed. "And its a long shot." Dead moved over to Rainbow and gently kissed her on her forehead. Rainbow suddenly sat up.

"Woah, woah woah!" Rainbow looked around quickly. "Twilight? Dead?  Why am I in the library, on a sofa."

"You broke, so I fixed you." Dead said as she took a seat next to Rainbow.

"I, broke?" Rainbow questioned. "How was I broke?" Rainbow asked.

"Well we were talking and then I told you some stuff and then you broke. Its simple." Dead teased.

"Uh, I remember you talking to me, I can't remember what it was about. I think its coming back to me..." Rainbow quickly looked shocked. "Wow I guess that happened."

"Yep, it sure did Rainbow. Can you remember the last thing I said to you?" Dead asked.

"Yeah, I think it is coming back. Hang on a moment Dead." Rainbow quickly shuffled over to Dead and she rather hastily kissed Dead on the muzzle.

"Well that was disappointing. Really Rainbow?" Dead sighed, she then took the initiative and locked her lips onto Rainbow's. Dead prodded her tongue at Rainbow's lip asking for entrance her mouth. Rainbow slowly opened her mouth. It was an odd sensation, normally the other mare would be leading and Dead would be following. Dead wrestled her tongue against Rainbow's after a few seconds she pulled away. "That was what I meant when I said you could kiss me." Dead said to a speechless Rainbow.

"I thought you had never done that?" Rainbow slowly strung out,

"Well not until a few days ago, I learnt quickly." Dead said as she grinned slightly.

Rainbow wiped the saliva that had started to drop out of her mouth. "Sorry about that then Dead, I was worried..."

"Worried that you would upset me and I would run off? The time for that has passed Rainbow." Dead sighed happily. "Now all you have to do is do that Ditzy and Rarity." Dead chuckled.

"Could you two tone it down? I don't want wake Spike up." Twilight sighed, rolling her eyes. "Also, congratulations Rainbow. I'm glad you took the dive..."

"It was nothing Twilight. I was just being awesome." Rainbow said as she returned to her normal confident self.

"Really?" Dead questioned as she sighed.

"Yeah, I didn't want to over-do it. So I acted the way I did." Rainbow said attempting the cover up her nerves.

"Uh-huh sure, lets go with that then Rainbow." Dead said rolling her eyes. "So you were acting then? Even when I carried you over here?"

"Yup!" Rainbow exclaimed. "Had you fooled."

"Uh-huh, then who did I meet on the way down here?" Dead said smirking as she spoke. When Rainbow didn't respond as quickly as Dead thought she took the high ground. "Come on Rainbow, how could you forget what we talked about it was very important." Dead teased.

"Well uh..." Rainbow raked her brain for ponies who Dead might have saw. "Lyra?"

"Nope!" Dead chuckled. "Keep guessing."

"Hm, Cloudkicker?" Rainbow guessed again.

"Nada!" Dead laughed. "Keep guessing."

Rainbow raked her brain, but at the risk of embarrassing herself even more she stopped. "I give up..." She sighed.

Rarity was busy seeing how various fabrics went with each other. A quick knock on the door pulled her away from her grand designs. "Come in!" Rarity sang out, she noticed that she had not flipped the open sign around, the call must have been social. She also noticed that she had the door locked. "Oh how clumsy of me, I will let you in!" Rarity called out as she rushed over to the door. On the other side of the door Ditzy stood, happy as always she cheerfully greeted Rarity.

"Hiya Rarity, mind if I come in?" Ditzy asked.

"Sure thing Ditzy, make yourself at home." Rarity said as she went back to her designs. "Ditzy can you take a look at these? I need another opinion on these designs." Rarity said as she pick up the designs and floated them to Ditzy, who was sat on the sofa.

"Wow, the all look so nice! But, they don't look like they would fit on a pony." Ditzy sighed.

"Of course not, its for a dragon. One of Dead's friends. I promised to make her a dress. She is a necromancer, just like Dead. I don't really know what she likes so these are all guesses." Rarity chuckled. "She really is quite a character."

"I see. Was she one of the uhhhh... Things that was with Dead when she went out?" Ditzy asked.

"Yeah," Rarity sighed. "It feels like that was so long ago."

"Yeah, those few days were really long. I really missed Dead." Ditzy sighed happily. "I am so glad she was able to kick things off with you."

"Yes... It was your idea wasn't it?" Rarity said as she sat down next to Ditzy.

"Yup! It was my idea, I mean half my idea. Dead told me about you and I figured that we might as well try it." Ditzy chuckled. "If you ask me it wasn't a bad move. However it did have one drawback..."

"Oh? And that would be?" Rarity questioned sounding concerned.

"I'm stuck with two beautiful mares." Ditzy chuckled. "Well possibly three if you count Rainbow. I wonder what they are up to?"

"Well given the short time I have know Dead, and also knowing how quickly she jumps into things..." Rarity chuckled. "I just hope they don't make a mess."

"Raiiiinnnnnnbbbbbboooooowwwwww!" Dead shouted. "Get back here!" Dead quickly got up and followed the cyan pegasus. Dead hurried out of the library. "Sorry Twilight, we can finish our conversation later."

"Its alright Dead... Good luck with Rainbow." Twilight calmly said as she shut the door and sat down on the sofa. "Those ponies..."

"Can't catch me Dead!" Rainbow chuckled. Dead growled at Rainbow in response.

"I will get you Rainbow, your wings can't help you now." Dead chuckled as she started to glow white. "You can run and fly, but you can't hide!"

Rainbow stopped her flight and hovered in place. "What are you up to Dead?" Rainbow looked at Dead, who was now a glowing white blob on the ground below her. Gray energy swelled around the white blob and then pulled away, taking the white energy with it. Dead, who was standing proud seemed unchanged. Rainbow glanced over, trying to see what Dead had done to herself. Rainbow glanced at Dead, her eyes scanned over her body until they stopped at her midsection. Two lengthy skeletal wings were poking out of Dead's body.

"They look nice don't they?" Dead said as she jumped up into the air and started flying at Rainbow. Rainbow quickly took the initiative and took off. "Get back here Rainbow!" Dead shouted as she tried to catch up with Rainbow.

"Ha! Good luck, see if those bony old things can catch up with me!" Rainbow teased as she started to gain distance from Dead. However where Rainbow was fast she lacked one thing Dead could do.

Magic.

Dead's horn lit up white as a lasso flew out of it. The lasso wrapped around Rainbows hind leg and started pulling her back. Dead chuckled evilly. "What the matter Rainbow? I thought you were the fastest flier?" Dead gloated as she caught up with Rainbow.

"Using magic like that is cheating!" Rainbow huffed as she tried to pull free of Dead's grasp. Before Rainbow could complain more Dead tackled her into a nearby cloud. Dead landed on top of Rainbow and pinned her to the cloud.

"I promised Ditzy that I wouldn't wear you out too much. But being honest how long do you think you could go for before you tire out?" Dead chuckled confidently.

"Longer then you Dead." Rainbow said cockily. "A lot longer then you."

"Oh really? I would like to you do that. I would really like to see you do that." Dead gloated. "I take it challenge accepted?"

"Challenge accepted!" Rainbow shouted as dead quickly locked lips and the pair fell into the cloud as it drifted freely through the sky.
