Most of this was written by me, Shadow, though. Enjoy. 'Nice Joke!' 'GAME OVER.' The bright red text flashed on the screen, a small timer underneath it. Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash groaned, pressing the continue button, as the game started again. Pinkie Pie was wearing a blue sleevless shirt and dark red shorts. Her hair was tied up into a braid, and the small loose parts of her hair hang down her shoulders. Rainbow Dash was wearing a green jacket and a small orange skirt that wasn't long enough to reach her knees, whilst her hands were in small fingerless gloves. Her hair was not tied up, and hadn't been brushed. "Pony feathers!" Rainbow cursed as she grabbed the game out the the system and threw it back into a box labelled 'Retro Games'. She looked back to her friend, Pinkie, who was staring at her. "You wanted to play that? Sorry, Pinks." Rainbow Dash laid back before her eyes settled onto a cardboard box on the other side of the room labelled 'Xbox 360 Games'. Her face lit up. "Pinkie Pie! Have a look at this!" She cried, pointing towards it. "Flutter never told us she played Xbox!" She slowly lifted herself off her yellow beanbag and grabbed the box, before walking back to Pinkie and dropping it in front of her, causing her to flinch a little. "Here it is!" She yelled in triumph as she rummaged through the old box, throwing games left and right. Pinkie could only dodge the cases as they were flung at her vulnerable head, flinging up and down. After a few minutes of chaos, Rainbow smiled as she pulled a small green case out of the box. "Skyrim!" Pinkie cried as she realized the familiar game in Dash's hands. "I haven't played that in forever! Can we give it a try, Dashie?" She begged, hugging her friend, who was suffocating in her grip. "S-sure, Pinks." She gasped as she breathed for air, before pushing the excited pony off. She snapped the case open and pulled out the disk. "Hey! It still has the map of Skyrim in it!" She said, pulling out a long, plastic map of the game. Dash turned the Xbox 360 on in excitement as the screen loaded up. A familiar tune started playing as the sign of the Dragonborn appeared. "Sweet!" Pinkie yelled, falling off her beanbag. Tapping the start button, they were surprised to see how long Fluttershy had been playing the game. "She's played it for 40 hours!?" They both cried in unison as they stared at her save game. "Never mind, Dash, just press new game!" Dash did just that. ******* "What?! Pinkie, don't side with the Stormcloaks! They're huge racists! They hate, Griffons, Changelings, Unicorns, and Dragons!" Rainbow yelled as she stared at Pinkie's mistake. "Don't worry, we can side with the Imperials later." Pinkie said, too sucked into the game to notice the complaints of her friend. A little too sucked in, in fact. Much to Dash's surprise, her friends feet were getting dangerously closer to the eject button on the Xbox. "Wait, Pi-" It was too late. Pinkie had already clicked the button as the game fell out. "Oh man!" Dash groaned as Pinkie's eyes opened in shock. "Oops." ******* "Never mind." Dash sighed as she stared down at the Skyrim disk. When Pinkie pushed it out the game fell onto one of Fluttershy's figurines, scraping it. "I'm sure we can get Twilight to fix it." ".....Are there any other games we can play, Dash?" Pinkie asked after a long moment of staring at the scratched disk. "Sure!" She cried, pulling another game out of the box. "How about- AUUGGGHH!!" Dash screamed in horror as she realized the game she was holding her hands. She could feel her ears flattening and and teeth shattering together. But Pinkie only stared, confused at her friend's shock. "But Dashie, it's just S-" Pinkie instantly stopped as she felt a finger on her lip. She stared up at Dash, who was still shaking. 'Don't say it.' She clearly saw Rainbow Dash's mouth move as if she was saying that. Grabbing Dash's wrist, she placed her hand down, grabbing the game from her hands. "Could we play i-" Pinkie felt the game being snatched from her again, as Dash went to throw it back into the box. "NO!" Rainbow screamed. "WE CAN'T! WHAT WILL FLUTTERSHY THINK OF US?!" She started sobbing as she realized what game she was talking about. "Dash......Why do you hate S-" Pinkie saw Dash stare at her from the corner of her eye, as if telling her not to say something. "S-Sonic....the Hedgehog....2006." Rainbow Dash started choking on cue, falling onto the ground in her 'I'm choking and dying.' act. Pinkie tried to help her up, but Dash pushed her back so she could finish. "You......like the cursed game?" She choked, making Pinkie stare at her like she had 6 eyes. "Sonic 06?" Rainbow dropped to the ground again, making more choking noises. "You're joking, right?" She asked, getting back up, glaring at Pinkie. "Well......It's a nice game I guess." Pinkie laughed, trying to avoid Dash's gaze. Upon her response, she literally saw death in Rainbow's eyes. "Pinkie!" Dash yelled. "Tell me the truth! This isn't a joke, ya know! This is hardcore gamer business! You can't go willy-nilly and tell everypony lies! Say the truth, please." Pinkie's eyes softened as she sighed and prepared to spit out the truth on 'The Cursed Game'. "Sonic 06 is my favorite game, Dashie." Pinkie said, staring down as Dash's mouth stayed wide open. Rainbow was about to reply, when a small knock was heard at the door. Pinkie quickly rushed over to open it, and was met with Fluttershy, who was holding a wooden basket full of daises. "Um...Excuse me you two, but I heard some yelling and I wanted to see what was wrong..." Fluttershy whispered as she stared at the excited looking Pinkie and the annoyed looking Rainbow Dash. Rainbow rubbed her forehead before she lifted up the case of Sonic 06. "Pinkie keeps telling me she likes this ga-" "Oh my! Sonic 06! I love that game!" Fluttershy squeaked as she started hopping around in a girly fit with Pinkie Pie. Rainbow just moaned as she fainted.
