The birth of Midnight Shield.
When me and Nightmare arrived at the restaurant it was luxurious, and it was open 24/7 it also meant that there was those snooty uptight bastards that they call the nobles, who kept the country running no matter how snooty and uptight they were, so when me and Nighty entered we were greeted with; "Hello welcome to Canterlot high style, oh! Princess! welcome back...and you have a guest with you" As the waiter looked up from his little podium and saw the pregnant form of the Night Princess and me, and he really didn't seem all that uptight and snooty as the other nobles. "Who might you be?" As he eyed my curvaceous deep rustic red and deep silver clad bat pony body.
"Moon Shield" I simply stated, the waiter's eyes widen in realization as he recognized me and my name from the newspapers months ago and 2 months later when Nightmare found out she was pregnant.
"Moon Shield! I heard about you being the Princesses consort and getting her knocked up" He added slyly as Nighty blushed a beat red against her regal black coat, both me and the waiter just chuckled in all good fun. "All joking aside, the two of you here to dine correct? So then let's get you two a private table then" Before me and Nighty could respond he ushered both of us to the royalty side of the restaurant that was only used by the royal family and foreign delegates for meetings or more private reasons if you catch my drift.
When we sat down Nighty was staring at me seductively before scanning through her menu as I more thoroughly read the menu and the dishes it listed, and it surprised me to find actual meat products on here like spaghetti and meatballs a personal favorite of mine so I placed the folder down wanting to order the dish, the two of us played footsies, or hoofsies as it's called here under the table, one of our more discreet ways of showing our affection as the waiter came up and we both placed our orders and the waiter gave me a strange glare as he wen to put in our orders.
As we waited for our order's we started drinking our wine that was already set up at the table, we were holding our free hands as we did so, so by the time our food came out I was already buzzed and had already finished my 20th glass of wine which I didn't show since the food had pretty much sobered me up as the smell wafted to our noses, I took a deep sniff of my spaghetti and meatballs as the waiter placed it in front of me. "Smells like heaven" Causing Nighty to giggle as her plate of spaghetti and meatballs was placed in front of her, I gave her a confused look but then remembered that that was also her favorite dish as well even after her banishment, still a touchy subject, the two of us began eating as we placed our napkins on our laps and as the waiter left to the kitchen and being tipped.
"So what should we name our foal, since we found out it's a she?" Nightmare suddenly said causing me to stop in mid bite of a small band of noodles and a meatball I had managed to eat and to be eaten, so I finished my mouthful of food and cleaning my mouth before responding.
"How about..." I began and trailed off. "...Midnight Shield?" Which caught Nighty off guard as she had a mouthful of noodle and meat so she couldn't respond right away before she could chew and swallow and she had a blush on her cheeks as well.
"That's a beautiful name!!!" She exclaimed causing a few cleaning mares that were there and minding their own business to jump and glare over at us, Nighty blushed after she caught and chastised herself causing me to giggle as well, the both of us tried to shrug it off as best we could and finished our plates and cleaning off our mouths with our napkins and placing them on top of the plates with our silverware.
The two of us walked up to the front to the cashier to pay for our two meals, I felt water then looked over at Nighty and saw her in pain so I immediately went to her side. "Someone call or find a doctor!!!" I screamed out as two of the restaurants employees rushed over to assist and a unicorn stallion that was behind the cashier nodded and teleported to the closest clinic, which was unfortunately was in Canterlot Castle so he might have some trouble with the guards and convincing the staff of this, me and the two employees gently placed Nightmare on the lounge sofa with me holding her hand and telling her to breath deeply.
The cashier came back with a small contingent of guards and a doctor with his nurses run into the restaurant and see Nightmare on the sofa and the doctor and nurses immediately run over. "Move!" He ordered the two employees, I looked at him questioningly with fear in my eyes. "She and the foal'll be fine, just a few small problems from what I can tell" He stated calmly as he tore away at Nighty's dress so that she would be bare naked causing the all the stallions except the doctor to blush a deep crimson red as she lay bare naked with an engorged foal belly.
"Alright your majesty I want you to push when you feel a contraction, alright" The unicorn doctor said calmly and soothingly and Nighty nodded and pushed as she felt a contraction coming, she moan as she pushed. "I also want you to breath between contractions and pushes as well" The unicorn, who was named Foal Stitch, don't ask me how they get their names, added, Nighty could only push as a stronger contraction came and the foal's head and shoulders peaked out. "Good I can see the foal's head and neck, keep it up your highness!!" She nodded and breathed a couple times before pushing with a contraction.
The foal was crying her head off as Nighty pushed one last time and the doctor cut the umbilical cord. "It's a girl your highness! A beautiful foal" As Midnight Shield cried her little regal black coated butt off, she also had my blood red mane and tail, I immediately went to her side as she gently craddled her..our newborn Alicorn daughter, the two of us along with the doctor, the contingent of night guards, and three employees smiled widely at the crying foal.

Once the foal was born, Nighty was admitted to the castle medical wing with the foal with me in tow, once the room was empty except me, Nighty and Midnight Shield, Midnight started suckling on her mother's closest breast which was a surprise to the both of us and brought wide and bright smiles to both of our faces at the small sight of Midnight cuddling up against her mother feeding. "She's cute when she's doing that, and she has your mane and tail, along with my black regal coat as well" Nightmare said motherly which was weird seeing her like this, she's normally shaft hound even when she's several months pregnant.
I felt my eyes begin closing on their own accords. "I'll take a nap Moony" I said yawning, nuzzling her and giving her a passionate kiss on her lips and motherly nuzzling Midnight before shuffling over to the closest bed and placing the sheets over my curvaceous lean form and immediately falling asleep.
When I started dreaming I was standing on the moon and looking down...well up at Equestria and it was a beautiful sight of seeing the familiar sight of the landmass Equestria occupied with other sentient species like the Griffins, Buffalo, Dragons who are reclusive, Minotaurs, and the more seclusive and hostile Changelings. And finally there was Zebritania or however you spell and pronounce it, and it's name suggested who and what its inhabitants were, they were Zebras and I was friends with one who's name was Zecroa and I was shocked to find out that Zecora was a she , and for some odd reason she was shunned from Ponyville just for the way she looked.
"You like the way my night looks even from the moon herself?" Came the ever so recognizable voice of Nighty as her mane and tail appeared and went to their normal flowing shapes revealing her ever so luscious and curvy form, her form always brought a big smile of my muzzle and since we have a foal it brought a even bigger smile to my muzzle, I nodded dreamily at the sight of my marefriend as she walked over and gave me a deep passionate kiss.

"This is the dreamscape that were currently in right know. And don't worry your body is perfectly safe and right where you left it" Cooed out with a giggle. "This is where I work when I don't have night court or anything important at the forefront or anything else my love" She quickly added with a peck on my cheek and her wrapping her wings around me lovingly. But before I could ask anything else I found myself in my previous dream with Equius and Equestria above me and Nighty.
"So I guess I won't be seeing much of the dreamscape then, will I?" She gave a quick nod of acknowledgement. "And I won't really remember about this when I wake up then?" I added after a minute of silence.
"Yes and no. Yes you will remember it but only as a dream until I acknowledge it. And no because I don't want the nobles to petition me based on lewd and perverted dreams in their dirty and perverted minds" She added with a sigh and surprisingly in a single exhale as well. "They will want to dethrone me just because I viewed their lewd and perverted dreams and nightmares with my marefriend and that I abused my powers in the process. Plus I would have information that only I and themselves would know which would cause them to petition to dethrone and decrown me as well as banishing me from the country or send me back to the moon for a 1'000 plus years again" She sound dejected and depressed, I know that Nightmare only had come back only a year or two ago.
I kissed Nighty to reassure her that she won't be sent away again for who knows how many years or centuries or eons, the kiss surprised Nighty. She pressed into the kiss with her tongue entwined with my own again, this went on for a few minutes before we had to break it so we could breath again with us panting for a short time after. Interlude (Checking out of the hospital).
When I woke up I saw Nighty and Midnight Shield laying on the bed they were assigned, Midnight was crawling all across the bed and Nightmare, who was fast asleep by the time I woke up.
I kicked the blanket off me and got up, put the blanket back to the way it was, and walked over and picked up Midnight and cradled her before she grabbed and latched onto one of my closest breasts and began suckling away from the erect nipple which caused me to involuntary soft moan from my throat. After the assembled guards were finished with getting their peek at Midnight they quickly remembered to do their duty and gently as they could dispersed the crowd of servants and staff so that we could get through to our shared bedchambers where we first made love and love after even when she was pregnant with Midnight. And she was even more hornier because of her mood swings and her hormones were going crazy.

After having to deal with a still hungry Midnight Shield I placed her into the crib sleepily, with the help of my breast milk to put her to sleep, and I placed the blanket around her and got into bed with Nighty and we both cuddled after she levitated the sheets over us and we stayed that way until the both of us, or rather the one of us, that being me since I can't get used to the bat pony schedule, fell asleep in the other's arms.
