Prologue
I was in the Everfree Forest, and I was being chased by Timberwolves. They were gaining on me! I ran faster, and faster, until I tripped and fell on the ground, helpless. "Help... Please..."
I woke up. It was just a dream. I got out of bed and looked over to my desk. My younger sister had left her toys of the Mane Six in my bedroom. I enjoyed the show, the characters, the writing, Pinkie's antics, but I wasn't ready to call myself a 'brony'. The term was to farfetched and I wasn't really that obsessed with MLP. I've never made any fan content, not even an OC. Anyway, before giving the toys back, I decided to arrange the toys in order. Or in the order of the theme song. I hummed to myself, "Big adventure, Tons of fun! A beautiful heart, Faithful and strong, Sharing kindness..." And then I placed Twilight in front of Rarity. Pfft. Alicorn Twilight. Twilight's horn started to glow. "Huh?" Brighter, and brighter.... Until I saw a light flash!
I didn't know where I was. I felt as if my entire body was changing, all at once. This had to be a dream. All of a sudden, the same blinding light flashed. I heard a voice. "Hello? Hello?" Tara Strong? Can I have your autograph? Do your Timmy Turner voice! I opened my eyes to see a lavender alicorn. Twi? "Ah think he's wakin' up." "Ooh, let's throw him a party!" I saw six colorful ponies and a baby dragon in the room. I was in the throne room of Twilight's Castle. Ok. Definitely a dream. Was I on acid? I tried to pinch myself, but I had no fingers. All I saw was a dark grey hoof. "AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" That scream was pretty much equivalent to Twilight's Scream in Equestria Girls. I was... A pony? Rarity used her magic to give me a mirror. I was a gray pegasus with a blonde mane and tail. I had blue eyes and relatively large muscles. "Hello, I'm Twilight Sparkle. What's your name?" I glanced at my cutie mark and came up with a name. What could I get with a thunder cloud and and a lightning bolt? Hmmm... "My name is Lightning Rider".
