I guess it all started with my father. He was in the equestrian military. I can barley remember the colt anymore... But the one thing I can remember is the look on my mothers face when a colt in a uniform came up to our door and apologized for the... death of my father. Died in battle, found three day after the time of death. A few years after that a new enemy was attacking. It was a whole new breed of changelings. They where white with red eyes, and had a whole new leader. The only problem is, the leader looks the same as all the others. That's when I wanted to join the army and fight to let my fathers spirit free. My name is caption Rainbow Beam, and this is the story about how I survived the hive changeling war.
I sent in the paper work and had my apointments and after a few months I was accepted. The day I was going to go to training camp my mother couldn't stop crying. I did my best to calm her down but nothin worked, I gave her a hug befor I borded the plane. "Don't worry mom I will avenge dad." I said. "Don't promis me that! Just promis you... will come back alive." Mom said.
I just left after that, when I was in the plane, stairing out the window I whispered to myself,
"I'm sorry mom but I can't promis u that."
I did cry a bit but snapped out of it once we got to the camp. One we stepped off the plane we where spit in the normal groups. Earth pony, Unicorn, and Pegasus. This was for uniforms. My uniform was a pain because when I change my wings to bat wings the holes in the back where too small and hurt my wings. Next was the line up. This was the part that I hated the most, when the drill Sargent yelled at u and picked out every thing about you that makes u feel horrible about yourself. The worst part had to be keeping my anger in because I am a vamp pony and when my fuse runs out I will go on a rampage.
"WE'LL LOOKY WHAT WE HAVE HERE!!!" The drill Sargent screamed.
"A BUNCH OUF USLESS BLOCK HEADS WITH HIGHT SPIRITS!!! GOOD, now who is going to CRACK and BURST INTO TEARS FIRST!?" The Sargent walked over to the first pony.
"WHAT IS YOUR NAME SKAMP!!??"
"THUNDER WING SIR!!!!" The pony said.
"Thunder wing hmm? U LOOK MORE LIKE A PICE OF GUM I SCRAPED OFF MY HOOFS!!!" "IT TRULY A SHAM THAT A STICK LIKE YOU THINK YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN A CRUL WORLD LIKE THIS!" He yelled.
He walked to the next and the next screaming until he got to me.
"Looky looky what we have here." The stained at me. "And what is your name?"
"RAINBOW BEAM SIR!!!" I yelled
"HA!!! U LOOK MOR LIKE A PINCESS MR. RAINBOW HEAD!!! Your father was a good man. BUT YOU HAVE THE STUPIDEST NAME AND MANE I HAVE EVER SAW!!!"
That is when I cracked my eyes changed to bat pony eyes, my wings changed to bat wings and my teeh shapened to a point.
"Heh wow princess has a dark side... Still not impressed!" He walked to the next pony as all the others stared at me with fear.
I folded my wings back down and over head something about a changeling. I looked Dow at the end of the line and that is where I saw a hive changeling standing there. After the first day we headed down to the cabins. I walked in and right on the bottom bun of my bed was the changeling. I stood there in fear.
