Well, this is the end of the story.

They looked around the cellar for a way out. Pinkemina's corpse simply laid on the stone tile spilling her blood into a large puddle.

Fluttershy and Big Mac shared the embrace for quite a while. Seemingly endless. At least, that's what he wanted it to be. He loved this mare dearly. His inner-most thoughts that had wanted to slay her where she stood had vanished and was replaced with one of content wholeness. The blood in the air had almost began to sicken him now. He didn't want any part of this old lifestyle that he had chosen for himself.

"Macintosh?" Fluttershy gently whimpered from his chest.

"Yeah?"

"Is it true what she said...? Did you really kill all of those ponies?"

Macintosh knew that if he told the truth, he'd be plunged back into that world of secrecy and maddening blood-thirst. He wanted no part of that anymore, he believed that one lie wouldn't be the end of him after all that he's done.

"No, it was her, 'Shy. Pinkie done went plum crazy..." Macintosh embraced her tighter and Fluttershy had simply sighed.

"I know."

"Don't worry 'bout it none, sugar. I'll get that door open real quick." He smiled down at Fluttershy and walked over to the cellar stairs. He walked up to the door and he turned awkwardly around. He readied himself for one hell of a buck, letting all of those years of Applebucking finally put to good use. He reared back and gave his best buck he could, the lock held the door shut.

Macintosh cursed under his breath and he looked around for another way out. He turned back to Fluttershy. "Hey, darlin'. You know where a key might be?"

Fluttershy gulped slightly and pointed down towards the corpse of Pinkemina. She closed her eyes and picked up the cleaver again. "I really.. really don't want to do it this time.." She had made out with the handle of the cleaver slightly muffling her words.

Macintosh knew what she meant and he came down near Fluttershy. He gave her a little kiss on her cheek and he took the cleaver away from her mouth and into his own.

He gently pushed Fluttershy away from the scene and told her to hold her ears shut. She did was she was told and heard very muffled thuds behind her hooves.

Macintosh was exhilerated. He hated doing what he was doing, but for some reason, it felt so right. This mare had held them hostage and tortured them! It was pure bliss for that cleaver to enter her corpse and tear out organs and crush bone.

Finally, Macintosh turned. His coat was entirely stained with Pinkie's blood. He walked past Fluttershy who followed suit, they walked up the staircase and placed the key into the hole. They turned it and heard a few clicks inside the lock turn the tumblers. They looked to each other and pushed open the door, the light was entirely blinding them they had been in the cellar for so long.

"Do'ya think he's alright?"

"Dunno, sugarcube. Just gotta wait, I suppose."

"Well, once he wakes up.. I'll make'em some good ol' fashioned Apple Dumplin's!"

"Granny, ah think he'll want a bath before he goes and eats somethin'." Applejack's voice had hit Macintosh's ears. He slowly was waking from his slumber, noticing that he was wrapped safely in his cover in his bed. He watched as Applejack led Granny Smith and Applebloom out of the room.

"Now, I reckon he just needs some rest, is all. He's been workin' real hard. Think he deserves a break, ya know?" She had closed the door behind her and Macintosh simply stared at the ceiling.

Was it all a dream?

Macintosh looked out his un-broken window and noticed that the Barn was still intact. He frowned and had a look of complete disbelief on his face.

"How did.." Mac began to say, he looked at the mirror at his side and smiled at it. "Ooh, Mac. You're still here."

His reflection simply repeated his every movement, it had no life of its own.

Mac suddenly smiled. He knew that it was all just a dream. Some sort of horrible nightmare.

He threw his covers off of him and snuck downstairs, he saw his family sitting at the table eating breakfast. He noticed that Applebloom and Applejack were sitting near each other, eating their oatmeal and talking about what they're going to do today.

Mac smiled and had a tear come to his eye. He knew that he was home. He knew that this was real. He knew that this is what his heart wanted all along. He rushed forward from the stairs and he hugged both of his sisters tightly.

"Err. Hey, sugar--" Applejack made out before Macintosh ran towards the door.

"Hey! Where you goin'?"

"I gotta tell Fluttershy somethin'... Oh, and stay away from Pinkie Pie." He rushed out the door and bucked it closed behind him, leaving his sisters with a confused look on their face.
