Had he woken from the gentle slumber, Big Mac would have noticed that Fluttershy had silently escaped from his grasp and walked into the kitchen.

It was the next day after Mac and Fluttershy had consomated their new relationship. Neither of them could be more happier!

Macintosh had continued to dream about living the rest of his days with Fluttershy, working proudly and happily for once, on his own rebuilt farm that he and Fluttershy would use.

Yet the soft dream would suddenly turn for the worst. Macintosh, playing with his son, had suddenly been hit with a large gust of chilling wind. His son, blown away into the nightmarish landscape that had changed before Mac's very eyes.

Big Mac looked around the ever-darkening skies, calling out for his foal, when suddenly he heard an all-too familiar voice ringing in his ears.

"Why, Macintosh?"

Big Mac turned and saw Applejack standing with Applebloom next to her. They looked as if nothing had ever happened to either of them. Just like they were completely whole again. Mac's eyes began to water and he reached for them, his hoof went right through the two.

The wind began to howl even louder, yet the soft talking of his sisters was as clear and loud as if they were whispering into his ears.

"Why did ya' do it, Macintosh? We both loved you dearly, if you wanted a break... why didn't you just ask for one?" Applejack had said.

Macintosh searched his mind for answers, but this landscape had sucked all the dis-honesty from his mind. He laid forward into the black ground and he shut his eyes. He started to cry for the first time in his natural born life. "Ah just didn't know what ta' do anymore, Applejack! I was worked to tha' bone! I needed some time... I wanted some peace 'n quiet!"

An older voice had come this time, "Then why didn't ya' just say so, you big silly stallion?"

Mac moved his hooves and seen that it was Granny Smith, looking down on him next to Applejack.

Mac shook his head and his eyes didn't blink from his murdered family, he wanted to reach out and hold them all again. He knew he couldn't, despite him reaching out to touch them. His hoof simply went through them all again as if they weren't there.

"Big Macintosh," Applebloom said, "We only wanted what was best for you, no matter what! What's a week off of workin' on the farm? We could'a handled it, hooves-down!"

Mac didn't blink as his tears cascaded down his face. He closed his eyes tight as a bright light appears to the right of the Apple Family.

"Hey, you big filly-doll lover." Rainbow Dash had appeared from the light with a smile on her face.

Suddenly, a barrel had been sent careening down a non-existant ramp and it crashed onto the dark floor below, the wood had been shot every-which direction and the contents of the barrel spilled out. Two fillies, and former-crusaders, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo had poured out of the wreckage. Applebloom seemed entirely delighted and she ran over to her friends and began to talk and play with them as they did back when they were... alive.

Mac smiled at this scene and he looked down to the ground.

"Macintosh." Applejack said.

He looked up and stared at his sister's eyes.

"We all forgive ya'." Applejack said as they all pulled Macintosh into a tight hug. He actually felt them this time. He relished in their warmth and tears continued to stream down his cheeks.

A new feeling had welled up inside him. It's not one of doing a mis-deed and feeling good about it, this one was one of complete and utter guilt. He loved his family, and he loved watching Applebloom play with her friends. And despite Rainbow Dash's horrible pranks, she was always one for him to look up to (sometimes literally) when he was sad. Her high spirits and attitude had made her a firecracker of a pony when she was around.

Suddenly a voice was heard. "Wake up... Wake up!"

Mac had watched as his family and friends disappeared, they all smiled and walked back into the light that had formed behind them. His eyes sprung open and he seen Fluttershy standing over him with a caring look on her face.

"Macintosh.. are you okay?" She said softly as she rested her chin onto Mac's chest.

Big Mac had tears flowing down his face as he was crying deeply in his sleep. He tried to breathe, but instead of a normal breath a staggering and saddened inhale had entered his lungs. He felt so guilty, he wanted to make it right.

"'S-Shy.. I did somethin' terrible." Macintosh said looking down at his marefriend.

Fluttershy looked taken aback and she softly asked "W-What is it, my love?"

Mac swallowed a lump in his throat, he had to get it out somehow. He knew that once he did, Fluttershy would probably hate him. Then tell Celestia, then he will be sent away to live on the sun. He fully accepted this as an inevitability.

"Shy.. I--" he managed to make out as the door had bursted open and confetti and balloons and loud music started playing from Ponyville's premiere party pony.

"Pinkie Pie!" Fluttershy had called.

Pinkie smiled and continued to march around the room, the whole atmosphere seemed to have lit up! "What'cha want, ShyShy?"

"I told you my name is Fluttershy... and what are you doing here? You interrupted a private conversation." Fluttershy's voice had barely made out of the deafening sound of the loud music.

"Oh you silly ShyShy! I heard crying! Crying his horrible and I know that it makes other ponies sad. So it was only a matter of time before a catastrophic amount of sadness would come over this place! And who better than Pinkie Pie Party Service to deliver a smile and make everything better again?" Pinkie Pie leaped around the room with that happy smile on her face.

Mac had sighed and let his lips curl into a small grin. He knew that if he wanted Pinkie Pie to leave, he'd have to pretend he's happy again.

Pinkie Pie had noticed that Mac was smiling and that only made the Party Pony explode into a larger bit of partying, she grinned and seemed to have pulled a cannon from nowhere, she lit the fuse and let the contents of the cannon explode all over Fluttershy's usually quiet cabin. It decorated the walls with streamers, balloons, and even snacks stacked neatly onto the table!

Before the two lovers knew it, ponies started stampeding into Fluttershy's cottage and they both sat onto the couch suddenly in the middle of a sea of ponies dancing and talking.

Pinkie Pie smiled and rushed over to the two, wrapping her forehooves around their shoulders tightly. "So! Is it true that you two are dating now?"

Fluttershy blushed deeply and looked down at her hooves, mumbling slightly.

Macintosh had almost enough of this party fiasco and he looked at Pinkie Pie with a look of slight annoyance and frustration. "Yeah, ya' got that right, but how did ya' know?"

Pinkie smiled. "The Pinkie sense never lies! An eye twitch, a knee wobble, a tail twitch, and a big smile on my face means someone is in love!"

Mac covered his forehead with his hoof and he sighed. "Now, Pinkie, I suggest you--"

"They forgave you didn't they?" Pinkie smirked.

Big Mac had all color fade from his face, making him turn a light pink color. "W-What did you just--" He tried to ask Pinkie before she was suddenly washed away by the partying ponies.

Big Mac simply sat for a few minutes, he was dumbstruck. Fluttershy sat with him and frowned, she tried to get this attention but to no avail.

Suddenly a panicked voice had called Mac back to his senses. "Macintosh!"

Mac blinked and looked down at Fluttershy, he sighed and gently nuzzled her neck. "'Shy, I gotta get somethin' figured out."

Fluttershy looked slightly discouraged and she nodded. "Alright, I'll stay here then..."

Mac smiled and gently licked Fluttershy's cheek, this got a silent but happy squeal from her.

Rushing outside of the partying cottage, Mac looked frantically around for any sign of the pink party pony.

If she knows... then I can't let her tell anypony. I won't let her ruin my new happiness... Mac had thought to himself with a steely look in his eye.

A noise. No, a giggle. Coming from the Everfree Forest near Fluttershy's home. Mac turned and nodded. He knew he was going into the forest in order to silence Pinkie Pie. For good.

The glazed look of bloodthirst had taken over Mac's eyes once again. He took out the list that he kept in his yoke, circling one name and crumpling it. Throwing the crumpled ball of paper aside, he began walking into the forest in search of Pinkie Pie.

Mac was unphased by any kind of little noise or threatening call from other animals that would make normal ponies leap from their coats. He was a colt on a mission.

Occasional giggles or sights of bright pink hair would catch Mac's eye, he continued to walk after this elusive mare. If she knew what he did.. then she would avoid him at all costs.

Mac crashed through the a thick burrough of brush and branches that lead into a rather large clearing. Pinkie Pie was struggling with her hoof caught in a root that sprung from the ground.

Mac smiled devilishly and he made his way towards her. "I reckon' you know a bit of a secret 'bout me, Pie."

Pinkie Pie looked over at Big Mac and she struggled with her hoof. The root simply would not budge away and let her hoof free. She looks up at Mac with an angry and destructive stare that had made Macintosh cringe a little. It would even put Princess Celestia into a state of discomfort, Mac thought.

"So what if I do, Macintosh?" Pinkie scowled.

Mac just let out a small laugh. "Oh, Pinkie. Ah thought Ah'd have ta' give up this whole killin' thing. Once I foun' Fluttershy, that is."

Pinkie Pie kept an angry frown on her face. "So, you killed Applejack.. my Dashie...even the Cutie Mark Crusaders?" Pinkie Pie looked down to the dirt and she had stopped struggling in the root.

Mac advanced with a threatening glare in his eye.

"Macintosh.. don't."

"Why not, Pie? You'll just go an' blab ta' Twilight or Tha' Princess." Macintosh took another step forward and stomped down. Near Pinkie's caught hoof.

Pinkie suddenly looks very frantic and pleading. Her eyes begin to water at the edges, tears slowly leaking down her cheeks. "P-Please.. Macintosh! I won't! I Pinkie Pie swear! Cross my heart, hope to die--"

Macintosh had cut her off and he smirked. "Hope to die, eh? I think I can oblidge!" He rears backwards and he throws forward with all his weight.

He expects to feel the glistening crimson deliciousness spew onto his coat and the sound of crunching bones and squishing flesh. Yet.. nothing.

Mac opened his eyes and looked down. Pinkie Pie wasn't there...

A very creepy and menacing voice had simply whispered into Mac's ear. It ran chills down his spine. "Nice.. try.. Macintosh.."

With a flash of pink, Macintosh fell down onto the ground, knocked clean out by a rag filled soaked with chloroform.
