Everypony's Still Obsessed With Frozen
It Came Out Last November
Rainbow Dash knocked on the door of Fluttershy's cottage, where she heard the voices of her friends inside.
"R-Rainbow Dash?" Fluttershy's small squeaky voice came from the other side.
"It's me, Fluttershy. Open the door." Rainbow Dash groaned.
Rainbow always hated Fluttershy's fear of opening the door to ponies. Rainbow Dash never fully understood it. She knew Fluttershy was shy, heck, it was in her name! But that didn't explain why she couldn't just open a door and see who it is. Most of the time, the knocks on her door were from delivery ponies who left a package there. So most of the time, Fluttershy is trying to contain her anxiety and be polite to a box. Rainbow was sure she always apologized to the box too.
Fluttershy's wooden door creaked open and she quickly realized she was standing in Rainbow's entry way. "Oh, um, I'm sorry." she squeaked, and moved to the side.
"It's fine, 'Shy." Dash said, "You don't need to apologize for everything you do." She chuckled a bit. Sometimes Fluttershy's over-politeness was too funny.
Applejack was the first to greet the multi-colored pegasus. "Howdy, Rainbow." she said, and tipped her hat. From behind her, Rainbow could hear Fluttershy quickly but quietly closing the squeaky door, and then whispering "Sorry!" to it.
"Oh, there you are, darling. What took you so long?!" Rarity ran up to Dash and gave her a good look, up and down. Then she gasped. "My, my, you never even brushed your mane!"
"I only brush the bottom of it." Rainbow replied.
"Why not the top?!" Rarity exclaimed in surprise.
"It already looks awesome. So, uh, where are we going?" Rainbow turned her head to Twilight and Pinkie.
"Sugarcube corner!" Pinkie cheered happily, "Yesterday night, I made up a new recipe for a milkshake! You'll all be the first ones to try it!"
"So, why didn't you just have us meet there?" Dash asked.
"Fluttershy needed some help with a lil' help with her animals." Applejack responded.
"S-sorry." Fluttershy said, and hid in her long, pink, mane.
"Fluttershy. Stop apologizing, please." Rainbow replied.
"Oh, um, sorry." Fluttershy whispered so quietly she could barely even hear herself.
Rainbow sighed. There was no point in continuing.
"So, um, girls, are we going to get over to Sugarcube Corner?" Twilight asked the group.
"'Might as well. Granny's decided that later this afternoon we'd spend some 'family time' together. She wants us to play bingo. We have, uh... an hour, I think?" Applejack said.
Rainbow Dash snickered and put on an old mare voice while shaking her hoof in the air, "Applejack's like, 'Oh I won the Bingo Game, Debby!'"
The group laughed as they left Fluttershy's cottage and went started down the path to Ponyville.
"Oh, only an eighteen year old would say that." Applejack snickered.
"AJ, you're one year older than me!" Rainbow fired back.
"Yeah, whatever." Applejack said.
"Well, I just turned twenty, so I'm the oldest." Rarity said.
"We all know that. Guess what's gonna be happening in a year for little miss Rarity?" Rainbow Dash snickered.
"Oh, you're just jealous!" Rarity chuckled, taking the joke lightly.
"Oh yeah, isn't Applebloom eleven now? Two years away from being a teen, AJ. You know what that means. You'll have a trouble making teenager on your hooves AJ." Rainbow smirked.
"Applebloom ain't gonna get herself in trouble, Dash." Applejack denied.
"I can't imagine what you did when you were thirteen, Rainbow." Twilight said, slight concern for her younger friend.
"Well, this one time I almost got arre-" Rainbow stopped herself mid-sentence, "Let's not talk about that."
Perfect timing. The group of mares made it into Sugarcube Corner, which was not busy because the festival in the town next door.
They found a booth, and slid into it. Pinkie hopped away to prepare the milkshakes.
"So, any favorite summer movies?" Rarity asked out of the blue.
"Oh, um, I-I liked Equestria to Echo." Fluttershy said.
"Lucid was my favorite." Twilight remarked.
"Ah liked Twenty-Two Jump Street." Applejack said, "That got quite a laugh outta me."
"I liked Mareleficent, and Fault In Our Stars. They was splendid." Rarity commented.
"I liked Godzilla! Oh, and How To Team With Dragons 2, and uh, The X-Mares, and-"
Pinkie came back with six milkshakes, which all looked undeniably delicious. She slid in next to Twilight and Applejack.
Each pony took her milkshake, and the movie conversation continued.
"What was your favorite summer movie, Pinkie?" Twilight asked.
"All of them!" Pinkie said in delight before gulping down her milkshake. After a few seconds, she stopped and said, "BRAIN FREEZE!" and fell to the floor.
The mares sat in silence for a few more seconds before Pinkie got up and said, "I'm fine!" like nothing ever happened, and bounced back to her seat.
"My favorite movie is Frozen!" Pinkie said exited and cheerily.
"FROZEN?! OH MY GOSH, I LOVE THAT MOVIE TOO!" Fluttershy gasped, her wings opened and her eyes widened.
Everypony gave Fluttershy a weird glance at her sudden burst.
"Sorry." she squeaked, and curled into a ball, closed her wings and hid behind her mane.
"It's fine Fluttershy. In fact, I love that movie too!" Twilight said happily.
"As do I." Applejack responded.
"Why, that was the best movie I have ever seen!" Rarity complimented.
Rainbow moaned.
"Seriously? It was okay, but it wasn't awesome. What's so cool about it? Why is everypony freaking out over it?"
Everypony gasped at the words that came out of Rainbow Dash's mouth.
"Are you ca-razy?! Frozen is like, the bestest movie ever! Please tell me you saw it theaters in 3D!" Pinkie Pie desperately asked.
"Uh, no. I saw it at my parents' because they owned it and wanted me to see it." Rainbow replied blandly.
"So you're saying you never wanted to see it in the first place?" Twilight asked.
"No?" Rainbow asked. Why were they making such a big deal out of some foal's movie?
Everypony gasped.
"Darling, how can you not love Frozen?!" Rarity asked.
"It's just not my taste. Why can't I have a different opinion?" Rainbow asked.
"Because Frozen is amazin', that's why." Applejack replied.
"Not really...seriously, it came out like, I don't know, last November?! Can we move onto another movie please? I thought How To Team With Dragons 2 was really good." Rainbow said.
"Never saw it. Sorry, Rainbow." Twilight said.
"What's that?" Pinkie asked.
"S-sorry..." Fluttershy said.
"Uh..." Applejack said.
"I'm afraid none of us have never seen such a movie, darling." Rarity told Rainbow.
"Why?! Because you were still all over-obsessing over Frozen?" Rainbow questioned.
Applejack rubbed the back of her neck.
"Seriously? Can you please stop freaking out over something that happened like, eight months ago? It's been almost a year." Rainbow said.
"She's kind of...right..." Fluttershy said out of the blue.
The other four Frozen fans gasped in shock.
"Well, umm, have you ever been obsessed for a movie for this long? I think it's a little over-hyped..." Fluttershy squeaked and then said, "S-Sorry. I don't want to be making you mad..."
"Eh." Applejack said, "Ya'll, she's right. I reckon we move onto another movie now. "
"Okay, uh... what movie is there?" Pinkie asked.
"I-I don't know." Twilight admitted. "Lucid? Anypony?"
No responses. Twilight sighed.
"Let us just change the subject..." Rarity said,
"I hate to be impolite Rainbow, but may I ask, what did you do when you were thirteen?"
