Fluttershy awoke from her nightmare in a cold sweat, as she looked around and saw it was still very late out. She attempted to calm herself down by picking up her bunny Angel who wasnt very happy about being picked up in general, /especially/ while he was sleeping, but he saw the look of terror on his pony’s face and realized that he had to make an exception this time
Fluttershy trembled as she hugged her bunny tightly “I-It was only...a dream...” She layed back down now content with the fact that what ever she saw was not real, and was only her imagination being mean to her while she slept, and stared up into the darkness that was her ceiling. She layed there for about 5 minutes thinking happily to herself before going back to sleep.
Angel, in an attempt to help his pony, slept next to Fluttershy that night, instead of in his own bed,with hopes to make Fluttershy as happy as possible.
That morning fluttershy awoke remembering that Rainbow Dash was training all the pegasi in ponyville to become faster so that they could tornado the water from a local lake(pond?) up to cloudsdale so that the cloudsdale pegasi could create rain. She immediately started looking for an excuse or reason to not go but unable to find one she created on. she drew brown spots all over her body and stayed indoors all day to try and avoid any pony smart enough to realize she was faking.
Towards noon she heard hoofsteps outside her door followed by a loud knock.
“FLuttershy! Whats wrong?” Came a voice from her door. It was her friend Rainbow dash. She opened the door with a little cough
“I feel a little sick....”
The blue pegasus saw through her ruse and washed the brown spots off the yellow pony “Whats really going on?”
Fluttershy, in a shock remembered her childhood and recounted the amount of bullying she suffered through.
She was a young filly,in flight school up in clouds dale approaching the end of the line for the final flying test before she could graduate. Her teacher said “Fluttershy it’s your turn” as she reached the end of the line. She steped up to the edge of the cloud and looked down. she staggerd back a good five feet dazed from the sheer height that she was at, too frightened to move. She hit her teacher’s lefg but her teacher didn't even flinch as she said “Fluttershy go or you fail.”
Fluttershy had no choice at this point, she stepped up to the edge of the cloud and peered over once more. She froze. She couldnt move, but the teacher cam and gave her a little shove with her hoof and Fluttershy plummeted straight down. She couldnt do it... She couldnt fly.
She landed snaping her wing in half with a loud crunce and started to cry. Other pegasi noticed how she had failed her test and started to crowd around the broken pony.
“PLEASE, OH CELSETIA IT HURTS!! SOMEPONY HELP ME!!” Fluttershy yelled, but no pony responded. It hurt her to even attempt movement. Her wing was clearly broken. She yelled and screamed in utter terror and sheer agony. She pleaded to the pegasi all around her.”
“HELP ME PLEASE!! ANYPONY PLEASE!!!”
The pain seared in her wings, its seemed to her as if any pain she had ever came back to her and centered around her wing.
The pegasi started to laugh. They Laughed, and laughed and laughed as the poor shy pegasus lay there unable to move in a state that fluttershy felt was worse than death. The pegasi Ridiculed her and laughed at her until all of a sudden they stopped and as if controled by a hive mind all started to chant
“Fluttershy can hardly fly.”
They kept repeating it over and over speeding up and getting louder with every repitition.
“Fluttershy can hardly fly”
“FLUTTERSHY CAN HARDLY FLY!”
“FLUTTERSHY CAN HARDLY FLY!”
She Screamed and yelled until finally the pain made her slip slowly into unconsiousness.
Fluttershy was swiftly awoken by some pony shaking her back and forth yelling “Fluttershy! Fluttershy! Are you ok??”Rainbow dash was violently shaking the scared pony yelling at her.
“I-I think I am...”she said before bursting into tears. She couldnt bear to remember al lthat had happened to her as a filly. She forced it out of her head so many years ago that the sudden memory almost ripped her in half.
“Fluttershy...What’s wrong? You were telling me a story and then...This!” Rainbow dash said looking at her friend with eyes of both terror and sadness.She wanted to help her friend but had no idea how to help her.
“I-I need some time Dashie...Alone....” Fluttershy said through her hooves now drenched in tears.
“O-Oh...Okay then” Rainbow Dash stammered as she walked towards the door.
“E-Every pony wanted t osee you to-”
“GET THE FUCK OUT!!!!” Fluttershy yelled at Rainbow Dash. She was suprised by the strength of her own voice.
Rainbow Dash Galloped out of the house scared by her friends sudden anger.
Fluttershy sat at her house alone weeping softly into her hooves when her bunny angel hopped up to her nuzzling against the shy yellow pony. Fluttershy looked down at the bunny
“Everypony thinks I’m a failure....You don’t think that do you angel? I hope not....” She stood up angrily glaring at the bunny as it backed away.The bunny shook its head quickly . “Oh really? You don't? It doesn't look like that...it looks like you're scared of me...You're scared that I will fail you!” She started to advance upon the defensless creature
“COME HERE ANGEL!!! MOMMY WONT HURT YOU....OH WAIT.....I LIED” SHe punted the bunny across the room and his head hit the wall as he was knocked out imediatly.
Fluttershy ran towards the bunny on his back “DID THAT HURT YOU FUCKING BITCH? HUH? DID IT?” She slamed her hoof on the bunnies head resulting in a loud crack and the instant death of the bunny...But that wasnt enough. She continued to slam her hoof on the head and body of the poor creature as its bones craked and snaped and blood began to ooz from every oraface in its body. Again and again she smashed his head in with her hoof. She started to laugh in a maniacal fashion staring at the remains of the creature. Its bones, if note crushed, wer jutting of its skin in all directions. Its skull was now a floppy mess of muscle and skin. it was almost floating in a pool of its own blood. She laughed and laughed “D OYOU LIKE THAT MOTHERFUCKER!?!?! HUH?? DO YOU!!!!?!?!?” she laughed even harder until eventually she passed out.
