As the first child of the Pie's, Maud Pie was born without another child to play with and did not get a playmate until 7 years later with Blinkie or Inkie. With parents who cared more about the work than her and no classmates as friends, she lived as a lonely child. However, the rocks around her do listen. Within these rocks, she found a lifelong friendship that would change her forever.
