Equestria was little more than a chaotic wasteland full of constant turmoil and suffering before the goddesses carves out their own little chunk of land to rule. If the sun goddess, moon goddess, goddess of love, and the mane 6 couldn't maintain peace for more than a month at a time than what does the rest of the planet look like? I'll give you a hint, there may have been a reason the Changelings showed up full of holes.
It was supposed to be easy. Go in to Equestia, get gems, get rich. Nopony was supposed to get hurt. Course we went in to Equestria playing by Kingdom rules so I guess ponies getting killed was inevitable. How is one supposed to cope after the things we did? What we didn't expect to find were all the monsters, we heard the stories but damn, they were everywhere! I guess in the end we were monsters ourselves. I hope in the end I did more good than bad. Course, regular non monstery ponies hardly ever get shanghaied onto a pirate ship now do they?
That is where we will begin this tale of adventure, on the ship that took us to Equestria to get the gems to fuel the industrial revolution.
