//-------------------------------------------------------// Where The Breezies Fly -by GallopingWalrus- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Unity of paths //-------------------------------------------------------// Unity of paths Tales of romance, sadness, and excitement. These tales have been passed down from generation to generation. Six friends have braved through everything together. Whether it be demons, changelings, or the Mare of the Moon herself, they went through it all. Proving that nothing can be a challenge when they are together, proving that friendship truly is magic. An unbreakable bond. But... What will happen when they are missing?.. Well... That's for you to find out, and for these adventurers to solve! What risks will they have to take that could impact them and those they love? All this begins in a little clubhouse, with three little fillies. "We've tried ice skating, hoof gliding, swimming, dancing, and we still haven't found our cutie marks!" Scootaloo whined as she paced back and forth in front of her friends. Sweetie Bell and Applebloom, too exhausted to respond, merely grumbled into the beanie bag they laid on. "Come on girls, think. We have gotta get our cutie marks somehow..." Scootaloo continued to pace back and forth. Sweetie Bell looked up from the beanie bag. "Scootaloo, give it a rest, we'll find our cutie marks eventually." Sweetie Bell said before her face fell into the beanie bag once more. Both Sweetie Bell and Applebloom were exhausted, after spending yet another day at an attempt to claim their cutie marks. Scootaloo scrunched her face in annoyance and concentration, thinking of another way to find their cutie marks. She walked over to the window, to look out. The sun was going down, signaling the end of the day. Celestia's sun was halfway down the tip the mountain that loomed over Ponyville, lighting everything in a beautiful sea of orange. Scootaloo turned to her two friends. She sighed. "Well, I suppose that ends another unsuccessful day.." Scootaloo said, lowering her head. Scootaloo trotted over to both of her friends, who were already snoring. Scootaloo chuckled, as she found a spot on the bean bag, careful to not wake her dozing friends. She laid down and slowly shut her eyes. "Someday we'll find our cutie marks, girls, I promise."  Scootaloo whispered, as she shut her eyes. The bright orange glow continued to fill the room and warm their bodies as they rested. Scootaloo continued to think about what they were going to do next, right before she drifted to sleep. Unknown to the little fillies, in the middle of ponyville, a dark shadow began to engulf the orange light of celestia's sun, before engulfing ponyville into darkness, entirely. The door slammed open, revealing a white unicorn with a wild blue mane. Her hair was a mess, indicating yet another wild night at another one of Pinkie's parties. "YO! Octy, I'm h- -hic- ome" Vinyl Scratch hiccupped as she stumbled through the doorway. Octavia jumped, losing her concentration on her cello yet again due to one of Vinyl's shenanigans. Octavia glared across the room at the drunken mare. "You'll never guessh what hap -hic- pened Octy..." Vinyl slurred, as she stumbled across the room in an attempt to reach Octavia. She continued her trek, bumping into pretty much everything around her. Octavia put her cello away and went over to help her friend in need. "Let me guess... You got drunk, and made out with the closest living thing to you?" Octavia said as she rolled her eyes. She wrapped a hoof over her friend, helping her upstairs to her room. Vinyl through her hoofs up. "You shhhould've sheen it, hish face, it wash, it wash..." Vinyl leaned in closer to Octavia's ear. "Awesome." She breathed heavily in Octavia's ear. Octavia could smell the heavy breath of her friend. Octavia turned her head away from her friend, to breath in anything but the alcoholic air her friend was emanating. "He wash shcaly, shure, but he could shure make a mare haaa-" Vinyl turned to her Octavia and booped her on the nose. "-ppy." Vinyl finished. After much effort, they had finally reached their destination. The room was Lit with an orange glow. Octavia lay her drunken friend on the bed, Vinyl at this point had passed out. Octavia turned and caught her breath as she finally took in a breath a fresh air. She looked at the ground in front of her. "Oh, Vinyl... The things a mare's got to do for you.." She sighed to herself. She closed her eyes. Something was wrong.. The orange glow that illuminated the room suddenly disappeared. Octavia shot her eyes open, and turned to look out the window. Her eyes turned to pinpricks. "Vinyl, get up!!" "Now listen derpy, this mare will pay big for a good show. Do NOT dissapoint the Great and Powerful Trixie." The blue mare in a silly blue outfit. She couldn't tell if Derpy was staring above or below her. Trixie sighed in annoyance. "Let's just get this over with." Outside the caravan, a mare watched with an unamused expression, waiting for the show to begin. "Watch, and be amazed, for I-", and on cue, Trixie jumped out of the curtains with her hoofs thrusted into the air, "The Great and Powerful Trixie! Shall make this mare... Disappear!" Trixie through her hoofs to her right, to display who she will perform this act on. Nobody followed. Trixie stood still, her right eye twitched a little. "I said... Make this mare disappear!..." Trixie said again. Maud Pie continued to watch, unamused. Trixie's left eye started twitching now. "That's your cue." Trixie whispered through gritted teeth. "O-oh! Sorry!" Derpy gallopped out of the curtains, with a crumbs on her snout. Trixie held her posture as she whispered through gritted teeth, "You weren't supposed to eat the muffins until after the show, Derpy." "Huh, What was that Trixie?" Derpy said, turning her head to Trixie. Trixie looked at Derpy for a few seconds, and looked back at Maud. She still held her posture from when she leapt out of the curtains. Trixie came back down on all fours. She coughed. "F-for my first act, I will-" "You said that already, just start." Maud said in a bored monotone, unamused by the show so far. Trixie stumbled a little. "R-Right, here we go." She said as she closed her eyes and concentrated her magic. Her horn started to light up. Just as she was about to cast the spell, she heard an odd noise. It sounded like a siren. Her eye shot open as she saw Derpy's mouth open, staring at the horizon. She saw Maud had turned around as well. Trixie followed their gaze and saw a black shadow flood the orange glowed fields. Overtaking the colors. Everything turned black. Lyra Heartstrings was on her way back from the library, carrying the books in her saddlebag. She wasn't a very sociable pony, in fact, most of Ponyville thought saw was crazy. She would spend most of her days in her room. Alone. Studying. By herself... But that didn't bother her too much. She usually had her nose in a book, researching about mythical beings known as, "Humans." She claimed that these humans were just like them. They went to work, they played with their friends, and they made love... She was so fascinated by them. Hours to days to weeks would pass, and she wouldn't leave her house. So enthralled she was, studying a whole other world which she believe was real. She will prove them wrong, they exist. She opened the door to her house. the orange light glowed the cozy home. It felt the same as every other day. Empty. Of course, it didn't always feel empty. Lyra looked across the room and saw a picture framed on the wall. She used her telekinesis to close the door behind her, and put the books on a nearby couch. She walked over to the picture. Staring at it, as she slumped to the ground, remembering the past. In the picture Lyra and Bonbon were both giving cheesiest smiles they could make at the time their manes were wild, after getting off a ride at a theme park. It put a smile on Lyra's face every time she saw that goofy look on Bonbon's face. Lyra levitated the photo down to her hoofs, as she carried it back to the couch. She continued to gaze at the beautiful mare in the photo. She meant the world to her. A tear rolled down Lyra's face. "I'm.. I'm fine Bonbon.. Trust me." Lyra said, hoping the picture would somehow reply. "N-no.. I still haven't found out if humans exist yet..." Lyra caught her breath. Fighting back tears. "But, when I do... I... I promise we'll hang out some more... I promi-" Lyra threw the picture beside her. She couldn't hold it any longer. She threw her hoofs into her eyes and began to cry. All the memories of her and Bonbon together flood her mind. After a few minutes she sniffed and turned to pick up the picture. She leaned over touch the photo, when the entire room went dark. Something started to tickle Scootaloo's nose. "Hey... quit it.." Scootaloo mumbled. Silence. The tickling sensation began again. Scootaloo got up. "Hey!" Scootaloo squeaked. Sweetie Bell and Applebloom shot up from the commotion. They looked aroundand noticed it was still dark outside. "Scootaloo, what in the hay were you yelling at?" Applebloom turned and asked her friend. She saw Scootaloo's face scrunched up, staring at the small trash bin across from them. Sweetie Bell cocked her head, as she followed their stares. A small dim light was glowing from behind the trash bin. She used her magic to levitate the trashcan to find a small being behind it. It was still shaking as it peeked through it's wings. A small breezie was shaking in fear as the fillies continued to stare in confusion. The breezie spoke up. "H-hello?"
