How does one define perfection? Can it be represented by a physical object, or is it constricted to merely an abstract concept? Is it something one feels, or is it something one observes? Is it common, is it a miracle, or is it impossible? Is it an illusion?

That last question, in particular. Is perfection an illusion? Just when one seems to have obtained it, someone or something swoops in to steal it. One may never know the true meaning of perfection.

Some may come very close, however. When Fluttershy meets the stallion of her dreams, she feels as though she has truly met with perfection itself. But perhaps this "perfection" is just another illusion; ready to swoop in and steal everything she has. Quite literally, in fact.

But the dark beauty of illusion is not ready to stop at merely the Element of Kindness. Probably one of the most contagious plagues in Equestria, the curse of illusion is ready to swallow everyone it finds in its entombing darkness, along with the essence of their very souls.

The most ancient studies cannot tell the effects of one who is swallowed. The most respected philosophers cannot predict the symptoms of one who is stolen. The entirety of Equestria cannot comprehend what will happen when one…is Bloodshot.
