Notice to readers: I wrote this story in about an hour so I apologize if it seems a little rushed. I wrote this inside of an hour so excuse the sloppiness.

One Cold Night, Ten Warm Hearts

A loud crackle from the now dim fire woke me from my peaceful slumber. I slowly raised my head and rubbed my eyes before letting out a small yawn. I looked around to see that I was on the floor surrounded by friends.
We must have accidentally fallen asleep here on the floor I thought to myself
Memories of last night replayed in my head ,I found myself smiling as I recalled the fun and cheerfulness that we all shared.
Ding, Ding
I looked up to the old grandfather clock which shows that it had reached midnight. I sighed and turned my head to my friends , who were all out cold enjoying the warmth of each others presence. We had all fallen asleep in front of the fire place roughly forming a half circle.
I looked to the end of the semi circle to see Spike curled up, with his arm holding the filly next him tightly. He let out soft snores as his chest went up and down each time. To his side Sweetie Belle was snuggled up to his side, tightly holding the arm that he had draped over her.
I couldn't help but smile at the sight. It's was hard for Spike to find happiness being a dragon amongst ponies, especially after his rejection from Rarity. A few months passed before Sweetie Belle approached Spike about how she felt. The two went out for ice cream and have been together since.
They got a lot of strange looks when strolling through town but over time the town kind of excepted the the two. The day Spike found happiness was one of the best days of my life. I felt so happy for him; for both of them.
My eyes drifted to to the ponies right beside him. AppleJack lay with her hat covering part of her face while embraced by a blue pegusas arm. The pegasus was none other then a former Wonderbolt by the name of Soarin. Much like Sweetie Belle she was snuggled up to her coltfriend as much as she could.
I recalled the the day that she had told us the that she would be dating him. Everyone seemed so happy and excited for the two; all except for Rainbow Dash. She was less than pleased to learn that her friend was dating a fellow teammate. If it weren't for the heavy convincing she had received from her own colt friend, she still might be a little upset.
At the thought of Rainbow Dash and her coltfriend I turned to my left where she lay snuggled with him, snoring much like she would any other time she fell asleep. I looked to Big. Macintosh who was holding her just as tightly as the others.
I remembered first hearing about the news of Big Macintosh finally finding a marefriend and how shocked I was. I was even more surprised to learn that it had been Rainbow Dash that he decided to courtship.
As much as I hate to remember it, I remember how disapproving of the two and how I told Rainbow how she could do so much better. Never had I been so happy to be proven wrong, and never had I felt so bad about my advice.
It didn't take long for Big Macintosh to show that he was far more then the dumb farmer he had been stereotyped for. As soon as I relished that those two were actually a perfect match, the first thing I did was apologize to them both. From that day onward I learned to never judge based on looks.
I turned my head to the next two ponies in line. Fluttershy and Rarity were the only two of my friends other than me not to find a special some pony yet. The two mares remained in their own individual sleeping bags continuing to sleep soundly. I knew that they both craved companionship just as much as I did, but I knew they were to scared to admit it to themselves.
Rarity says she doesn't have a stallion in her life simply because work gets in the way, but she can't lie to me. I know she is just doesn't want to open up because she's scared of getting hurt, like she did with him.
Fluttershy on the other hoof was just to shy to mingle with the opposite sex, she couldn't be five feet away from a stallion without shivering with fear. I could only hope she can one day find the courage to talk to the right stallion.
I yawned again this time a bit louder signaling my bodies need for rest. Even though they don't have anypony in their life they still both seemed extraordinarily happy with their lives as they were.
And last but not least there was Pinkie Pie, and believe it or not she was the first one of us to find a special somepony. It was sometime last spring during apple buck season that Braeburn had come from applelosa to assist the apple family.
If I recall correctly he had stopped by sugar cubed corner for a snack and from their they hit it off. I'd be lying if I said I knew how exactly the relationship works; I'm sure that Braeburn is still trying to learn how it works. But their both extremely happy together and I think that's good enough for them.
The two ponies were both sharing the same sleeping bag holing each other in a tight embrace. I could smile at the sight, but it quickly disappeared as I realized who was truly alone in this room.
I slowly stood up and looked down at myself. "And then there's me." I whispered to myself.
There might have been eleven ponies in that room, but only I had a cold heart.

I will be making chapters that go into more details about these ships, I only made this Chapter so you would know what ships would be present in this story. It was meant to be short.
