SWAT Ponies: The Radical Squadron

A suddenly explosion tears up the tranquility of the early evening, jolting half the city awake, and prompting every cat near the site to run in panic, when the smoke clears, Dark kat stands in the middle, laughing maniacally.

“When I finish my latest device, the Megakat city will be a pile of rubble in my feet” the mad cat says, smiling, “Now, my loyal imps, bring me the sorcerer” the two most loyal minions of dark kat obey, bringing a very beaten Past Master to the feet of the shadow cat.

“Well, well, well, my old friend” Dark kat says, smiling, “now I have a task for you, and you WILL obey me, or I assure you that all your extended time in my new world will be a very short one.”

“Be as you wish, Dark kat” the old time sage says, spitting a little blood, “but when I escape, and be sure I will, I am going to ensure that there is no future in your remaining nine lives.” After losing to the shadow cat, the Past Master was bound to the other villain, wich destroyed the old Spellbook of the ages and now has the watch of eternity in his paws, corrupting the ancient device to its will.

“Don’t worry, Time master, the Swat Kats will be here shortly” the dark master says, lifting his sight to the pretty familiar Jet billowing in the distance, “all the nuisances always are on time.”

“Sorry for being late to the party, Dark kat, but we are finishing your thieving rampage in Megakat city today!” T bone exclaims, avoiding a couple of laser beams that the goons of Dark cat were firing against the Turbokat.

“T-bone, please be careful, these lasers could disable the Turbokat, and I prefer that for once, we arrive at the hangar without damages on the plane” Razor says, at the same time aiming the guns of the modified jet to the villains, “I think they need to get stoned, cement Gatling gun, fire!” the weapon on the nose of the plane shot out, covering the villains in a quick dry compound, effectively immobilizing them and securing a halt of the hostile fire, after a while, a couple of helicopters appear, wearing the logo of the Enforcers, Megakat city official police force.

“This is commander Feral of the Enforcers, you damn vigilantes, stand aside” the grating voice of the old cat resonates trough the speakers “We the enforcers have this situation under control.”

“Yeah sure, like the last four times you say that this week, Feral” T-bone says, gaining an exasperating grunt from the other cat, “why you always get late to the party, anyways?”

“NO MORE” Dark kat says suddenly, “SORCERER DO YOU THING, NOW!”

“Wait, since when the Past Master and dark kat are working together” Razor says, eyeing warily the old cat, lifting his signature watch “T-Bone, take care, this guys are serious business!”

“I know, pal, hang on tight, we are coming hot!” his partner says, lifting the joystick of the Turbokat, trying to avoid the oncoming beam.

“Hear the ancient spell this old sorcerer cast,

While standing in this times past, send those I choose

To a future without any hope for them, and now arise

Time Portal!”

“Ok not the usual trash about the other times… Wait a sec, he said future without any hope!” T-bone says, pulling frantically the joystick of the Turbokat, without any luck. The beam of dark magic hits the plane, and after a blinding explosion, both vigilantes and their airplane simply disappear.

“It is done, Dark kat, finally the Swat Kats are no more!”

Equestria, near Canterlot Mountain.

“Twilight, are you sure this is a good idea?” Spike says, looking warily to his mother/big sister.

“Don’t worry Spike, this is perfectly safe, the Arcanum itself tested it, it is foolproof” the purple princess says, waving a hand over a book and looking into the Everfree with a spark in her eyes, "also we need to be near the everfree so we can do a lot of experiments today with the wild magic of the forest, it isn't exciting?"

“Whatever you say Twi, however, why we are here, separated from all the Canterlot city and Ponyville?”

“Safety reasons, we don’t want to get you all big without seeing if it is safe, that’s why I also ask the celestial air force to help us with this, they can stop you… Probably” the alicorn says, eyeing her assistant with a big creepy smile.

“I still don’t think this is a good idea” Spike states flatly, “also why are purple clouds in the sky?”

Unknown to both the dragon and the princess, the time rift that the Past master cast finally drops out the aircraft of the Swat kats over the sky in the testing ground, when the storm fades, Twilight’s eyes went all white, shooting a spell to her assistant, making him change again like all those years ago, and she faints after this magical surge.

Equestria airspace, Near Canterlot Mountain.

“T-bone, T-bone, wake up pal, we are falling!” Razor frantically yells, Jolting awake his old pal from their forced slumber.

“Okay, Okay I am up little princess, stop tangling your tail over a… where in the seven hells are we!” T-bone says, flaring his wings over the back of the seat.

Wait, wings?

“Razor, I think we don’t are cats anymore, I don’t even know where we are and-“

“DRAGON!” A sudden yell from his partner keeps anything else the pilot were saying from, while he frantically pulls the thrusters to its full capacity, launching them soaring over the foreboding forest both were flying above.

“- And I think those guys down there needs our help, Swat kats style!” T-bone finishes, doing a nosedive from where they hear the shout.

“Wait T-bone, what if these folks doesn’t know about technology” Razor says, “we cannot risk changing the story because of this.” Before the pilot could answer, a lot of planes appears on the horizon, all with gold and blue paint.

“Unknown aircraft, this is Her royal majesty air force, commander Glimmer Sky speaking, identify yourselves before we start to open fire, I repeat, Unknown aircraft, this is Her royal majesty air force, commander-“

“Ok Razor old pal, this answers your question?” T-bone says, pulling up to avoid a pair of missiles from the incoming aircrafts, “this guys at least have better aim that the enforcers, hold on tight!”

“Commander Sky, this is the Swat Kats, please hold your fire, we are friends!” Razor yells into the communicator, without succeeding, “oh holy fish, we are without radio, T-bone what are we going to do now?”

“Answer them, get ready the shark missiles!”

“Ok, shark missiles, fire!”

A pair of missiles got out the Turbokat, after a while both transformed into flying buzz saws and cut the wings of some of the reactors following the nimble black aircraft, disabling two of the aircrafts now locked in combat with the vigilantes.

“All aircrafts, return to base, and get the heavy jets for fighting this menace, I repeat,-” the voice of the commander fades quickly.

“Well, that is all folks, now, with the dragon, we need to immobilize it, Razor, any ideas?”

“well star pilot, we have a couple of octopus Missiles, a shark missile, two Scramblers and one phosphorus left” Razor sums up, smiling, “we are almost at no fuel and we need to stop a giant lizard, all the odds are against us.”

“Just as I like it!” the pilot answers, “get ready the Octopus, I have one idea”

“Aye!” Razor says, getting the missiles ready and out, “now what?”

“Aim for the face and lets clamp up this overgrown lizard, shall we?” T-bone says, smiling to his partner.
