Pinkie Pie woke up to quite a surprise.

In her bed, right next to her, was Rainbow Dash.

She drew in a quick breath.

‘What is Dashie doing in my bed?’ Just yesterday she was in love with Twilight. So why was she in her bed? It was strange really. The week before she was in love with Fluttershy and yet she denied it all week long. And before that it was Applejack. What was going on? It wasn’t just Rainbow Dash though. Everypony, except Lyra and Bon Bon, kept switching their marefriend or coltfriend. The strangest part was that nopony seemed to notice.

Her thoughts were interrupted by Rainbow Dash who began to wake up. The rainbow Pegasus sat up and rubbed her eyes. Now Pinkie Pie could finally get some answers. She opened her mouth to speak but Rainbow Dash swooped in and kissed her. Pinkie Pie always had a bit of a crush on her, and at any other moment she would have relished her fantasy come true. She backed away quickly and looked at a puzzled Rainbow Dash.

“What’s wrong,” she asked.

Pinkie Pie was busy trying to find the right words.

“We’ve been dating for three months… I thought that you were supposed to kiss your marefriend you love.”

“Three months!” Pinkie shouted in alarm, “But you just went on a date with Twilight yesterday.”

Rainbow Dash looked confused for a moment but then burst into uproarious laughter. After she regain some of her composure she began to speak through gasps of air, “Pinkie *gasp* Pie, you are so *gasp* random.”

Pinkie Pie didn’t understand what was so funny; everything she said was true, “Are you okay Dashie,” she thought for a second and realized that a nickname would make it seem like they were in a relationship, “I mean, Rainbow Dash?”
