Sunrise Splendor was a Canterlot unicorn who foolishly made a deal with her family to visit them for a month every few years. Why was it so foolish? The town her family lived in was about as far as one could get from the main civilization and still be in Equestria. Lindisbarne.

Lindisbarne was a quiet fishing port with very little going on. A quiet and quaint village where everypony knew everypony and the days slogged by like molasses for a mare used to the high and fast lifestyle of Canterlot.
