The CMC girls, have just finished their first semester at Canterlot High and spring sports try outs are right around the corner. Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle want nothing more than to see their best friend Scootaloo out on the field again after a fantastic soccer career at Canterlot Junior High. However Scootaloo has her own reservations… Can she make Canterlot High proud with her skills on the field? Can she shine in the eyes of the Team Captain, none other than Rainbow Dash? And most importantly, can she put the pain and memories of a horrible mistake on the field behind her to secure her school victory?

The story is entirely set in the Equestria Girls Universe and focuses on CMC, with cameos from some of our favorite pons as well.
