As I walked down the stairs of Twilight's library I noticed Spike and gave him an pat on the back for luck and left, however my duster was caught by the door...which reviled the massive, shining handcannon. Rarity picked up on the shinning weapon emitting from my hip: "Dustin darling? What's that on your hip?" She asked. I was caught red handed with the weapon so I pulled it out of it's holster and showed the 6 the weapon. Which raised some eyebrows...

"This is the Desert Eagle Mark XIX (19). A handgun from where I'm from."

"Why is it so shiny?" Asked Pinkie.

"It came like this." I replied.

"What is it?" Asked AJ.

"A handgun, which is a weapon that I can use to harm, or more likely kill and attacker with." When I said that it caused every one but Twi and Rainbow to flinch back an inch or 2.

"Why in Sam hell are ya carryin' somethin' like that!?!" Asked AJ.

"From where I'm from Humans aren't the nicest of species. We're well known for bloodshed of our own kind, weather it be on a massive scale like a war or something as small as only two of us in one room. We also know the dangers of the wild so we also use them for hunting or safety from predators. We carry things like this to ward off attackers, weather they be Human or not." I replied grimly and continued: "I won't really need it but I'm not one who takes no chances."

"Oh...have you had to kill someone, or somepony else?" Asked Fluttershy.

"Gladly no. I would only take one's life if it needed to be, say I was protecting my property or defending myself or my loved ones and friends, like you guys." I said with a friendly smile.

"You would defend us?" Asked Rainbow.

"I would walk through the nine rings of hell to make sure you guys were safe. You have treated me with a kindness that is rarely seen in my world, sadly. I would do anything to make sure your okay." I replied which got some smiles.

"Speaking of loved ones, do you have any family or special somepony?" Asked AJ.

I grimaced. "No. Parents died defending me. All retaliated family either doesn't know me, is dead, or doesn't care about me. As for a lover I've never had one." They saddened when I said this, Pinkie being the most noticeable with her hair straitening and her coat becoming a more faded color.

"Wow...I'm truly sorry to hear that..." Said Twilight.

I smiled sadly. "Family that loves you never really dies when you remember them and cherish your memories of them. It's when you forget about them and never remember them is when they are truly dead." I said. "It's okay." They also smiled sadly and pinkie became normal again.

"Enough with this sad shit lets see the town." I said with a smile.

"Yeah!" The 6 said in unison. We walked around town as we walked I picked my brain to see where the duster came from...

"Okay guys I have a question. Where in Sam hell did the duster come from? I know John can wear a duster but it's a light brown color not this black." suddenly a new voice chimed in...

"Oh hell yes!" I replied with excitement. I have been a fan of The Dresden Files ever sense I discovered them. I was looking forward to having Harry's infamous arsenal. Suddenly there was Harry's shield bracelet on my right wrist, his staff in my right hand, and I felt something around my neck and in the spell spell laced duster. I looked down to see what was on my neck and saw a silver crucifix hanging around my neck, in the duster was Harry's blasting rod.

"Hey...why is the necklace a crucifix and not your pentangle?" I asked the disembodied black sheep of the white council.

It's what you believe in. As long as you believe in the object it will work. Ahh that made sense.

"Will electronics be affected around me like you?" I asked the wizard

No it will not due to my wizard powers having to flow through The Gauntlet first.

"Ahh good.

The 6 noticed the sudden appearance of the wizarding gear...

"Dustin? Where did that big stick come from?" Asked Twilight.

"This 'big stick' is a wizards staff. And where it came from...umm I don't know..." I replied.

"Wizard?" She asked.

"Uh user of magic." I replied and she visibly went from questioning to pure and uncaged joy when she heard that I was a fellow magic wielder. Before she turned into a knowledge absorbing Pinkie I said: "we can talk about it later." She pouted but remained okay throughout the day though she still asked questions but not about magic.

"Okay besides you carrying theses...weapons...and magic what else can you do?" She asked.

"These 'weapons' are called firearms or guns, and...do you promise not to laugh?" I asked they looked at me confusedly.

"Why would we laugh at something so serious?" Twilight asked.

"Okay...I'm...a superhuman...I have superpowers..." I said she looked at me with an non believing gaze so I willed some electricity to arc on my arm and she gasped.

"W-w-what was t-that!?!" She asked.

"That was just a tiny, tiny fraction of my power over electricity. I also have smoke, neon, and video." I then described in great detail of how each power works and how powerful each one was. "Y'all will probably see the most use out of these powers instead of use of firearms. The powers are damaging but can be nonlethal unless I hammer the foe then there is a possibility." She smiled when I said this. She smiled really big when I said that the powers also can heal a person to almost full health.

We arrived to our first destination: Sugar Cube Corner. Pinkie's work place.

"Oh give me a sec. HUD activate." Suddenly there were a pair of sunglasses in my face.

"Where did you get the shades?" Asked Rainbow.

"The Gauntlet. HUD mark location." On the map I'm the corner of the sunglasses a dot appeared where Sugar Cube Corner was located.

"What's HUD?" Asked Rarity.

"HUD stands for "Heads Up Display" it shows a map, a compass, ammo count for a gun, vitals, etc..." I replied. "Here put 'me on and see for your self." I said as I handed them to the 6. They each tried the HUD enabled sunglasses, which with each mare 'ooohhed' and 'aahhed' when they saw the advanced glasses.

"Wow Dustin that's amazin'" Said AJ.

"Just modern tech where I'm from." I said. We when got to each location I marked it on the HUD which included: AJ's farm, Fluttershy's cottage, Rarity's boutique, and Twilight's Library tree. I asked Dash if she had a place to work and she just pointed in the clouds and I saw a cloud house above the park which I also marked. It was getting late but we saw a stage magician and went to watch. She was a light blue unicorn with a "wizard" cape and hat (that made Harry mad), and looked like Twilight in the bust and body department, and she had a beautiful silver mane and tail.

"Welcome to The Great and Powerful Trixie's show!" She boasted which didn't get much of a applause. Trixie noticed me and brought me up to the stage.

"And who might you be, strange creature?" She asked with a small amount of disgust which I ignored. This was a prime way to revile myself to the town.

"Name's Dustin Jones, and I'm a human." I said. The crowd cheered me on and that made Trixie mad. She shot a bolt of magic my way which I dodged with a smoke dash. The crowd suddenly hushed and stared at me with awe which made Trixie more mad and started shooting bolts wildly in my direction which I dodged with more use of my powers. She managed to hit a poor filly which knocked the little mare off her feet and wasn't breathing, Trixie stopped and stared at the mare while I rushed to her aid.

"Give her some room!" I roared which quickly gave a larger circle around me, the filly, Trixie, and the 6. I used my leaned against her cheats and listened. She wasn't breathing. I quickly used my healing powers which worked perfectly and soon she shot up perfectly fine, but with tears in her eyes. She then lunged at me and tackled me with a tight hug. The crowd cheered for my heroics.

"What's your name little one?" I asked.

"Dinky Doo. I just want to see my mom again." I picked her up and started my search with the 6 at my side. Soon a grey Pegasus with a blonde mane and tail, and cockeyed face ran up to me and took Dinky from my grasp.

"Where were you? I was so worried." Asked the grey mare.

"I went to go watch Trixie's magic show when she called Dustin up (she points to me) and started shooting magic bolts at him when one got me. He saved my life." Replied Dinky.

"Oh thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou. I was so worried about my daughter. My name's Derpy by the way." Derpy said putting her daughter down and lunging at me with a hug.

"No problem ma'am. I was just trying to do the right thing." Derpy and Dinky waved and left. It was dark and we all went our separate ways and went home. I went upstairs and prayed to God thankful that I had the chance to do the right thing and did it. I then laid down to rest when I felt another presence in the bed and saw Twilight in the guest bed with me...naked.

"Twi? What are you doing in the guest bedroom, in my bed, with me, naked?" I asked.

"Remember when you told this morning that I could sleep with you? I'm taking up that offer. I'm really proud of you too. You rushed to Dinky's aid when no one else would. I bet Derpy and Dinky are thankful for your help." She replied.

"Like I said to them I only wanted to do the right thing." I then took a chance and kissed her on the lips goodnight. She blushed but after we separated she kissed back. I then slept into a dream...
