On a bright sunny day around 3:30 P.M. the mail pony arrives at Rainbow Dash's House to give Rainbow Dash an anonymous love letter. Rainbow Dash takes the letter thinking it is from soarin she thanks the mail pony and goes inside.

3 weeks after she got the letter she is visited by Soarin but to her surprise a flower delivery pony shows up behind Soarin and says to Rainbow Dash "Delivery for miss Dash" she looks at the pony holding a vase of red roses and tells the pony thanks and the flower delivering pony flies off. Soarin looks at Rainbow with a odd look on his face and asked her "who are the roses from?" it is from the same pony who sent me that love letter.

After countless weeks of everything Rainbow Dash gets from this mysterious admirer her and Soarin go out to find this pony. 12 1/2 days after they left from Rainbow Dash's house above ponyville and arrived in canterlot twilight is shocked to find that the pony who sent 1 of her best friends all that stuff was none other than the notorious Prince Lightning Alicane Dash the son of King Voltage Shock the ruler of the Kingdom of Lightning. twilight sent a message to Rainbow Dash but as she was on her way to mail it a knock came on the door and before her very eyes she sees Lightning Dash.

After Receiving the letter from twilight Rainbow And Soaring Head Back to ponyville, when they get to Twilights house they see that Twilight was waiting for them. "There is no time to catch up ther is a pony here who insisted in meeting the one pony who he sent all those items of affection to" said Twilight. around 1:30 in the afternoon that pony Twilight had talked about showed up outside her front door, he knocked on the door and twilight know excellently who it was she clearly told he to come in and as soon as he got inside he noticed the mare who had received everything she even had the love letter on hoof that she had gotten in the mail before he showed up. He looked up at the cyan pony and said to her quoting a line directly from that letter he said" Oh Rainbow how beautiful art thou mane and those loving eyes in which i have fallen head over hoof with oh how i love thee so." after he had finished she looked at him with a shocking look on her face she said "that is word for word how did you know that di you write this letter or..." and before she could finish saying what she wanted to know that amazing pony looked into her beautiful loving eyes and said " I was the 1 who sent you all those item of affecton i am the 1 who worte that letter because Rainbow Dash I am your secret admirer and my name if you are wondering by that look in your eye i the 1 the only Prince Lightning Alicane Dash and also i know you are thinking if everything in that letter i sent to you is true don't your because it is every single word" because i love you Rainbow Dash every time you ever raced i was there on the sideline cheering you on because Rainbow Dash I am also The President Of Te governing body in charge of the Wonderbolts and that governing body is The Wonderbolts High Council. after she heared everything he had to say she already made up her mind on who she wanted to stay loay to and be with. Rainbow Dash look at Lightning and told him "i am so happy to have finally figured out who sent all those items in which i didn't throw out and they came from a prince doesn't make them special it is the fact that you Lightning sent them to me to shiow how much you not only cared for me but also how much you love me plus with all of that taken in it also struck me to see how much it hurt you to be so far away from the 1 mare who you really loved that shows that in your case you really loved me and i let you go free but you came back to me which means you are mine and you could only stay loyal to the 1 mare who you truly love me." after hearing those words come from Rainbow Dash's Lips he walked up to her and said these 5 words"I love you Rainbow Dash" and without hesitation he pulled in and kissed her for what seemed an hour before she broke the kiss and said to him" I love you too Lightning".
