Twilight Sparkle is a princess who has known good times and bad, a princess that has felt loss and deep heartache. In the wake of losing her all of her friends to magical old age and being rejected by Celestia, the mare she loved the most, Twilight wonders the frozen wastes of the North until she was found by her true father, The Dark Unicorn, King Sombra. Now that she has found the truth about her past, about her father, and about the birthright stolen from her from over a thousand years ago at the hooves of Celestia only a terrible anger and fury are left in her soul. After some soul searching for a while with new allies Twilight has only one thing on her mind now, getting revenge and replacing injustice with the righteous justice a thousand years long over do.

Armed with a new understanding of her destiny Twilight has raised an army for war and returns to Equestria to face her former mentor and ex-friend, Princess Celestia. Soon Celestia will have to face the sins of her past and an angry Twilight.

Twilight has returned to the place she once called home so long ago to get revenge for being used as a pawn for most of her life and having everything she has ever held dear turn out to be a pack of lies from the start. What will Celestia and Luna do as the newest Princess of Equestria comes to Canterlot with the single-minded goal of conquering them both to beginning her Age of Dominance?
