Corvyre the Mage awakens in the frozen north of Equis with no idea as to how he could have possibly wound up there. He soon makes his way to the only civilization he can spot, the Crystal Empire. After Sombra deems him to be a monster and attempts to kill him, Corvyre destroys the slave king and takes his place as ruler of the Empire. Will the human's "original" ideas be able to lead a nation to prosperity in a land of ponies or will his differences be his undoing?
