"Bust Through the Heavens with Your Drill!"
Our story begins with the close-up of a galaxy spiraling. Soon, the stars and other galaxies begin to spiral downward (a small shine soon after) until a sudden yet large explosion causes a chain of smaller (but big) explosions. Our view pans out to show an open blue space filled with stars and explosions--a larger explosion in the middle--that gives off a shockwave of rainbow light. More explosions.
-Unseen Pony: Barrier field class VIII!
-Unseen Pony 2: Mirror shield dissolving!
-Unseen Pony 3: Block 3865 under bombardment!
We see the back of a tall pegasus wearing a blackish-blue cape with the flaming red skull on the back; the triangular eyes a navy color. With each step, a strange metallic ringing noise is heard and cape flaps in the wind.
-Tall Pegasus: Any losses?
-Unseen Pony 4: Minor, but the wind generators are fully exposed!
-Tall Pegasus: Don't lose your cool! C'mon, let's show them...
The Tall Pegasus walks along a platform with ponies in front of blue screens at the sides and over to a tall drake wearing military garb and purple sunglasses.
-Tall Pegasus: ..just who they're messing with.
-Unseen Mare: Enemy fleet, impossibly large!
- Tall Drake: So all the heavenly lights are the enemy?
Our view switches to show the Drake's back as the tall Pegasus throws a small gold drill up and down in her hooves.
-Tall Pegasus: There a good match for us! I'll squash them along with space-time itself!
The tall Pegasus grips the drill in her hooves then immediately leaves; the Drake watching her leave, a small smile coming to his face. He then turns and raises his hand.
-Drake: (issuing an order) Prepare the Elshtreim Cannon! Target the Great Dimensional Waterfall!
The view shows the tall Pegasus standing on another platform near the flagpole, legs crossed and cape flapping in the wind. Behind her are blue lights stretching out to something. The tall Pegasus has a smug yet confident look on her face.
-Tall Pegasus: (yelling) GURREN-LAGANN, SPIN ON! Who do you think I am?!
We zoom out quickly (the tall pegasus is apparently standing on a head of sorts) and shows a large ship with gun turrets. The front of the ship shows a much larger face as its eyes turn bright blue.

Episode One: Pierce the Heavens with Your Drill!
-Filly: (narrating) Day after day, my only job is to dig. As we drill, the village grows bigger. The elder will be pleased and give me wheat steak for dinner.
The view moves to the right and down slowly to show a small pony digging faster and deeper that the others who drill through slowly.
-Filly: (narrating cont.) "So, do you dig for the steaks?" No, not exactly.
The drill suddenly stops after hitting something hard (rock, maybe?), The camera then shows a small pegasus inside of the tunnel, pushing up her red goggles into her short purple mane. Using the drill, she moves dirt/rock remnants to see what she had hit. She digs around in the hole she made only to find a small golden drill that glows with a blue-green light.
-Filly: (narrating cont.) Sometimes you find treasures.
We switch to show foals dressed in brown cloaks who also dig as a round yet built stallion stands nearby with a sword as his walking stick.
-Gruff Stallion: All right, lads, keep digging!
The stallion along with the other foals look up to see the purple-maned pegasus filly from before pop out of a hole from the rock face above them then walks off, looking down at her hoof. The foals and stallion look at her confused then the stallion begins to wave his sword around in his magic angrily as the foals cower and go back to digging.
-Gruff Unicorn: Hey! Why can't you dig that well?! Don't you people want to eat steaks?
The purple-maned pegasus filly walks off from the scene, tying the small drill to a string. She looks to the drill happily only to see three older fillies, beyond the drill who look at her with strange yet disgusted looks; arrogant smiles on their faces. Behind them is a circular white pool with ponies gathering water.
-Pink Earth Pony Filly: Gross, its that hole-digger, Scootaloo.
-Silver Earth Pony Filly: Getting smeared in dirt every day; what could be fun about that?
View moves (from hooves up to head) Scootaloo covered in dirt, her drill covered with dirt as well standing and looking at them with a confused yet naive face. She holds the smaller drill on the string.
-Brown Pegasus filly: She's holding something weird, too.
-Silver Earth Pony Filly: Gross.
-Pink Earth Pony Filly: She stinks, too.
-Brown Pegasus Filly: (surprised) Oh, she's looking at us! Watch out, she might dig a hole in you!
The fillies walk off, giggling and leaving an even more confused Scootaloo alone. She turns and walks off with her head down to the floor as she holds the small drill in her hoof, obviously saddened by what the fillies had said about her; her eyes closed. Without noticing, she suddenly bumps into a ponies front leg then opens her eyes as a surprised look comes over her face.
-Mare: Keep your head up when you walk, Scootaloo!
Scootaloo looks up at the mare.
-Scootaloo: Oh, uh, Rainbow Dash!
We see a young mare with a flowing rainbow mane, moving up a pair of red (sharp) triangular sunglasses with one wing. She smiles broadly at Scootaloo. On her wrists and upper waist beneath her wings were covered in white bandages.
-Rainbow Dash: Not 'Rainbow Dash', call me "big sis"!
Scootaloo looks down to the ground timidly.
-Scootaloo: I...don't have any siblings...
-Rainbow Dash: (places a wing on Scootaloo's back) That's not what I mean! Siblings in spirit, Soul Sisters! Who cares about what ugly broads say?
Rainbow Dash takes the small drill Scootaloo found and examines it with a grin on her face.
-Rainbow Dash: This thing looks good on you!
Rainbow Dash places the string around Scootaloo's neck as she holds the small drill in her wing.
-Rainbow Dash: The drill is your soul! C'mon, follow me.
Scootaloo looks up at Rainbow Dash with a surprised yet somewhat shocked look. We see Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, and three other young Stallions (who glance at the two with smiles on their faces inside of a cave.
-Rainbow Dash: Troops, I've returned! How goes the preparations?
The boys look to Rainbow Dash as one (Bandana boy) gives him a nod.
-Short-maned Stallion : Perfect!
-Scootaloo: Wh-what are you going to do?
Rainbow Dash grabs Scootaloo and holds her close, her wing around her back. Scootaloo holds the small drill in her hoof, a concerned look on her face.
-Rainbow Dash: Listen up, Scootaloo. Your drill doesn't belong to the elder. It's all yours!
Rainbow Dash points up to the cave ceiling; Scootaloo looks up at her with a uninterested look.
-Rainbow Dash: YOU'RE DRILL IS A DRILL THAT WILL PIERCE THROUGH THE HEAVENS!
-Scootaloo: ...Why?
-Rainbow Dash: I know! Don't ask why. (her wings flare out in a proud fashion)
-Scootaloo: (looks off to the side) ...You just can't explain.
View shows Rainbow Dash, legs crossed as she stands in front of the cave entrance.
-Rainbow Dash: All right! Are we all ready?
The three stallions hold up their hooves and cheer while Scootaloo looks to her small drill, uninterested.
-Rainbow Dash: We are the invincible Gurren-dan! Nobody can stop us!
-Stallions: Yeah!
-Rainbow Dash: We're done with this tiny village! The youth will tear on ahead! The youth will aim for the Surface!
View shows a few people standing in front of a cave entrance, gathering water. Suddenly, large beasts with pig snouts (Mole-pigs) storm out of the cave and tackle anyone in their way, squealing loudly. The three Fillies from before scream in fear. Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, and the three stallions ride on the backs of the beasts; the latter clinging onto the fur for dear life. Rainbow Dash holds up her legs and grins victoriously.
-Rainbow Dash: (cheering and yelling) Move, move, MOVE! Gurren-dan's (Gurren Brigade's) comin' through!
Scootaloo clutches her larger drill in her hooves, whimpering from the sudden rush of excitement as she rides the back of a Mole-pig with Rainbow Dash. The beasts run along a narrow pathway, knocking down a random stallion and others, cutting across more pathways.
-Scootaloo: H-hey, what are we going to do?!
-Rainbow Dash: Listen up, Scootaloo! We're smashing that roof with your drill! (points up to the larger ceiling above) Once we burst through that, we'll be above ground! We'll make it to the surface in one shot!
Scootaloo looks on with a frightened look, clutching her drill as Rainbow Dash sits behind her with her sunglasses on, a smug look on her face.
-Scootaloo: This is crazy!
-Rainbow Dash: You can do it!
Out of Scootaloo's cloak, a smaller version of the Mole-pig pops out and sits on her collar with round black eyes.
-Scootaloo: When did you...
Ahead of Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo were more Mole-pigs led by the other stallions who continued to cling to their fur tightly, screaming.
-Rainbow Dash: GO! Just keep going straight!
The beasts collide with one another, making a brown mass which "flies" up to the ceiling like rope led by Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo (Rainbow Dash raising her hooves and cheering loudly). Above them was an 'X'-shaped pathway and someone standing on it: the gruff unicorn from before (the village elder).
-Village elder: Rainbow Dash! You again!
-Rainbow Dash: Move it, elder!
-Village elder: (twirls his sword and holds it like a bat) YOU IDIOTS!
The elder smacks Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, and the other three stallions along with the Mole-pigs back as they scream. View shows the lock and ropes from before are tied back together (more secured this time). Standing around the pool of water, ponies look on carrying suitcases in their hooves, displeased looks on their faces. The elder stands in front of Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, and the three stallions--hooves bound--as he places his hoof on his head.
Scootaloo and the three stallions look down at the floor while Rainbow Dash has here head up.
-Village elder: Snap out of it already! There's no such thing as your "Surface!"
-Rainbow Dash: That's not true! I saw it myself! Above ground, there's no walls, no ceiling! Instead, there's nothing but a shining blue sky!
The elder gets in Rainbow Dash's face, an angry smile on his face. Scootaloo looks up at the two.
-Village elder: It looks like the liar's girl is a liar herself!
-Rainbow Dash: ..What?
-Village elder: Your father always rambled about dreams like that! In the end, he died as nothing more than a placemat for the rocks!
-Rainbow Dash: NO! My father went above ground! I went with him!
-Village elder: Then why are you here?
-Rainbow Dash: That's...
-Village elder: Listen to me and remember! All we have is this village. (raises his legs) Opening the roof has been forbidden for generations! Those who don't understand this won't get anything to eat. You'll be locked in jail, with no food!
The three stallions gasp in shock.
-Stallions: (bows down) WHAT? WE'RE SORRY!
-Rainbow Dash: (looks at them, shocked) YOU GUYS!
The village elder chuckles then takes off the handcuffs on the stallions. They stand in front of Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo, rubbing their wrists and the back of their heads.
-Round stallion: Big Sis, I'm sorry!
-Bandanna stallion: But, you know, no food..
-Short-maned stallion: Big Sis, I think you should calm down, and apol-
Rainbow Dash, now angered, gets into their faces as they look at her in fear.
-Rainbow Dash: Don't call me your sister. (serious) I don't want to hear that from the likes of you!
The stallions cower from her.
-Rainbow Dash: HMPH!
-Village elder: So much for unity among the Gurren-dan (Gurren Brigade). (takes the handcuffs off Scootaloo) Scootaloo, you come along too.
Scootaloo looks up at the elder.
-Village elder: I know Rainbow Dash just dragged you with her. You have an important job in Giha Village as a digger. You don't have to follow this fool. Come.
-Scootaloo: (looks down) But...
-Rainbow Dash: Go on.
Scootaloo looks up at Rainbow Dash whose eyes are hidden by her spiked bangs.
-Rainbow Dash: Don't worry. Just go.
Scootaloo looks at her with sincere eyes until suddenly, the ground begins to shake. The villagers look on in fear.
-Village elder: It's an earthquake! EVERYONE, HIDE!
The villagers scatter and scramble to find hiding places, screaming as the ground continues to shake.
-Scootaloo: (holds onto Rainbow Dash's arm) Rainbow Dash, let's run! Rainbow Dash!
Rainbow Dash stands there, looking down at the ground with a frown on her face.
-Rainbow Dash: No.
-Scootaloo: But...!
-Rainbow Dash: (serious) I don't run!
Scootaloo looks at Rainbow Dash, shocked at her words. A flashback begins: a stallion and mare falling amidst dirt, rock, and more rubble, Scootaloo reaching for them as the stallion tries to grab her hoof...but they fall as their bodies are covered with the rubble and dirt.
-Scootaloo: (tears in her eyes) IF WE DON'T RUN, WE'LL BE CRUSHED TO DEATH!
Rainbow Dash looks to Scootaloo, confused only to realize what she had said.
-Rainbow Dash: Oh...that's right, you... (places her wings around Scootaloo protectively) Don't worry. It's already calmed down.
The villagers look out from their hiding places.
-Rainbow Dash: You want to live like this? Always fearing earthquakes? THERE'S NO ROOF ABOVE GROUND!
The village elder looks at Rainbow Dash from his and two others' hiding place as he comes out of it, holding his sword.
-Village elder: (angered) JUST SHUT UP! LOOKING AFTER YOU ORPHANS ISN'T AN ACT OF CHARITY! It's because I'm the village elder! I have an obligation to look after the people of the village! But anyone who won't obey me IS NOT NEEDED HERE!

Later, Rainbow Dash is placed in a holding cell, her hooves tied above her as she rests against a slab of rock. Her body is covered in bruises; her head down to the ground.
-Mini drake: Bebb-be.
-Rainbow Dash: Huh?
Rainbow Dash lifts her head to look at the small drake from before sitting in front of her.
-Rainbow Dash: What are you doing in a place like this?
-Mini Drake: (squeaks a noise of defiance)
-Rainbow Dash: Heh...C'mon, c'mon... (sits indian-style with the Mini Drake in the center, tightening her hold) Now I have emergency escape.
-Mini Drake: (squeaks in distress and struggles)
View shows tunnels upon tunnels underground and pans downward to a spiraling tunnel that straightens. It is shown that Scootaloo is the one digging the tunnel.
-Scootaloo: (narrating) My parents died in an earthquake, back when I was seven. No matter how much we dig, one day, me, the elder, everyone in the village...We'll all be crushed to death as the roof falls in. That's just how it is. That's just...how? Is it?
The drill hits something hard again as Scootaloo moves his goggles up to see what he had hit. He moves the dirt and rock away and to his surprise, an eye glowing greenish-blue is seen. Scootaloo looks down to the small drill around her neck as it glows along with the eye; a pulsating noise could be heard. On impulse, Scootaloo begins to uncover the eye and digs further underground, the drill kicking up more dirt.
-Village elder: Lights out, lights out! Turn off the lights! It's time for night! Everyone in the village, go to sleep! Don't waste our precious electricity!
In the holding cell, the lights outside dim as Rainbow Dash sleeps, still holding the mini Drake in her legs' hold.
-Rainbow Dash: (snores with a sleep bubble from her nose) Grow...grow...grow, grow...Grow up and become a dragon!
-Mini Drake: (squeaks in fear)
The Mini Drake is suddenly pushed out of Rainbow Dash's lap (Rainbow Dash waking up at the same time), Scootaloo's drill protruding from the open space where her legs are. Rainbow Dash looks down at the hole along with the small drake.
-Rainbow Dash: ..What?
-Scootaloo: Rainbow Dash!
-Rainbow Dash: What's wrong, Scootaloo?
-Scootaloo: (excited) C'mon! There's something I want to show you!
-Rainbow Dash: Huh?
-Scootaloo: Hurry up!
-Rainbow Dash: But...this'll be an escape. (breaks the ropes around his wrists)
Once out of the holding cell, Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo walk along a pathway near the glowing pool of water.
-Rainbow Dash: (arms folded) If the elder finds out about this, he won't be happy, Scootaloo.
-Scootaloo: I was so excited I didn't realize.
Scootaloo leads Rainbow Dash to a nearby cave.
-Rainbow Dash: Well, we won't be found out as long as I'm back by morning. So, this thing you wanted to show me...What am I going to see?
-Scootaloo: A face!
-Rainbow Dash: Eh?
-Scootaloo: A really huge face!
A spotlight suddenly shines on Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo, nearly blinding them as they shield their eyes.
-Village elder: You've got some guts escaping, Rainbow Dash!
The elder stands with other Stallions carrying clubs in their hands, the spotlights behind them.
-Rainbow Dash: (points to the elder) Scootaloo, is this the huge face you were talking about?
Scootaloo, in shock and horror, shakes her head quickly.
-Village elder: (angered) Don't take me for a fool! I'm the elder, so naturally I patrol the village! Scootaloo! You too! I know that you've been secretly digging holes!
-Rainbow Dash: (stands in front of Scootaloo, holding up her wings) Stop. She has nothing to do with this. It's all my fault.
The elder gets in Rainbow Dash's face.
-Village elder: Oh, I know very well you're at fault!
The elder slams the sheath of his sword into Rainbow Dash's left shoulder then on her forehead. Rainbow Dash looks at the elder with a defiant look. The elder--now even more angered at the look--raises his sheathed sword above his head only to miss by a sudden quake which knocks everyone off their feet.
-Rainbow Dash: Scootaloo...that thing you wanted to show me... (places his triangular sunglasses on) This it?
Scootaloo shakes his head frantically. Rainbow Dash climbs up on a rock in front of the demonic face then points up towards the broken ceiling as sunlight shines in.
-Rainbow Dash: Up! The Surface! It exists after all! This big face fell from above... It came from the Surface! AIN'T THAT RIGHT, ELDER?
Behind him, the face suddenly rises from the ground covered in bits of rock. Attached to the head were arms and legs. The guards that were with the elder gasps in shock and back away.
-Guard 1: It's a monster!
-Guard 2: A monster!
The guards move out of the way from a pole attached to the face's hand as the villagers scatter in panic. The face stands up slowly while moving more rubble in the way.
-Rainbow Dash: (stands over the elder with a grin on her face) What's wrong, elder? Aren't you supposed to defend the village?
The elder stays in his spot, frozen in fear while his sword lays across his stomach.
-Rainbow Dash: Hard to tell who's the liar here.
Rainbow Dash steps on the sheath of the sword as it comes up, twirls around her neck, and grabs the hilt with precision. She holds the sword against her shoulder.
-Scootaloo: (points in the opposite direction of the face) Big sis, c'mon, this way!
Rainbow Dash walks forward, much to Scootaloo's shock.
-Scootaloo: Big sis!
-Rainbow Dash: (yells walking onto a rock to look the demonic face) Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey! Barging in on us down here...you must have balls to match that big face!
-Scootaloo: (trembling) R-r-run...
-Rainbow Dash: But hey! I won't let you get away with any more!
-Demon bull face: (speaks in a electronic yet monstrous voice) What? Who the hell are you?
-Scootaloo: (in shock) It spoke!
-Rainbow Dash: I'll tell you who, so perk up those giant ears and listen good! (points up to the broken ceiling) The infamous Gurren-dan (Gurren Brigade) of Giha Village! Carrying the Souls of Mare, the unlawful digger demons!
Rainbow Dash unsheathes the sword and throws the hilt to the side then points the blade towards the demonic face.
-Rainbow Dash: The dee-vine Rainbow Dash!
The three stallions from before watch from a distance then shake their heads.
-Bandanna Stallion: She's an idiot.
-Round Stallion: A real idiot.
-Short-maned Stallion: A huge idiot.
Scootaloo watches, holding the sheath with a surprised look on her face.
-Rainbow Dash: Pull any more crazy shit here...and you'll face the wrath of Rainbow Dash!
Scootaloo's eyes widen with pride as the demonic face growls lowly then laughs arrogantly.
-Demon bull face: What can such a tiny pony do?
A gunshot rings out as a flash of blue light hits the weapon in the demonic face's hand (much to Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo's surprise). Another flash shines off the sword Rainbow Dash holds and another gunshot is heard. The two look up to see a young Mare swinging from a rope as she fires a sniper rifle in her hooves at the demon face.
-Fire-maned Mare: You two, get back!
-Rainbow Dash: (whistles) Another one from the Surface!
-Scootaloo: This one's a Mare.
Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo felt the sudden blast of the gun the mare had as she fired at the demon face several times, making the monster fall to its knees. The gun looks like it was 10 times her size. The mare reloads the gun, a casing falling to the floor. She starts running off to the side in order to get a better shot.
-Fire-maned Mare: Just fallen over, it'll be back up soon!
-Rainbow Dash: (runs with the girl, her newly acquired sword on her shoulders) Heya, pretty lady!
-Fire-maned Mare: Huh?!
-Rainbow Dash: Trading punches? Lemme give you a hand!
-Fire-maned Mare: What?
The mare and Rainbow Dash hide behind what was left of a house as she glances at her. Her fiery mane is spiked straight up, a skull hair clip holding back some bangs. Around her neck she wore a blue scarf. On her front left leg was a black leather armlet attached to a wristband that had gold studs around it.
-Rainbow Dash: You're from the Surface, right?
-Fire-maned Mare: I guess.
-Rainbow Dash: Looking good! Weapons from there, too?
-Fire-maned Mare: Not really, but it'll do.
-Rainbow Dash: Some sweet body! Surface mare are on a whole other level!
-Fire-maned Mare: I'll say it again, run away! Want to die?
A shadow looms over the girl (she blinking a few times) and Rainbow Dash who look surprised. The fire-maned mare looks back in shock as the demonic face slams its over-sized sword into the destroyed building; obliterating it. View stays on the demonic face for a second until it shows a hastily dug tunnel leading into a hole where Rainbow Dash and the mare (surprised from what had happened) land in a heap. Scootaloo pops out of a hole near the mare.
-Rainbow Dash: Thank you, Scootaloo. You saved us there.
-Scootaloo: Hurry, this way!
Camera shows Scootaloo leading the mare and Rainbow Dash crawling down a tunnel she had made.
-Fire-maned Mare: Where is this?
-Rainbow Dash: Giha Village!
-Fire-maned Mare: (looks up) So, the neighboring hole...
-Rainbow Dash: Neighboring?
-Fire-maned Mare: I'm from Littner Village, in the neighboring hole.
Scootaloo leads the mare and Rainbow Dash up a flight of stairs she had made.
-Rainbow Dash: What? You said you were from the Surface! Just another undergrounder?!
-Fire-maned Mare: I just came from above, but I'm originally from Littner.
-Rainbow Dash: (frowns) But you're an undergrounder! Out of my way, fatass!
View shows the mare holding her backside as she pouts at Rainbow Dash who walks past with Scootaloo.
-Fire-maned Mare: What's with the change in attitude? (blushes, taking off her goggles)
-Scootaloo: Over here.
Next scene shows Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, and the mare climbing out of a hole.
-Fire-maned Mare: So where are we going?
-Scootaloo: The face.
View shows Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, and the mare slipping through a narrow passageway.
-Fire-maned Mare: Face?
-Scootaloo: A huge face!
View shows Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, and the mare climbing down out of a hole from a ceiling.
-Fire-maned Mare: Oh, the Gunman?
-Rainbow Dash: What do you mean by Gunman?
Next view shows the mare pointing out a window at the demonic face (now known as a Gunman as Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo lean backwards to see it. The demonic Gunman walks off in a random direction.
-Fire-maned Mare: That thing.
-Rainbow Dash: Oh.
-Fire-maned Mare: (places her sniper rifle in the window and aims) Hold on. I can hit the transmission tubes from here. If I get those, it'll stop moving.
The girl aims using a scope on her rifle, aiming at a pair of tubes on the Gunman.
-Fire-maned Mare: Gotcha.
-Rainbow Dash: HEY, BIG FACE!
Rainbow Dash hangs out the window in front of the mare's sights, much to her surprise.
-Rainbow Dash: Get ready to eat a bullet!
The Gunman looks at Rainbow Dash then moves, turning itself around as the girl shoots at it only to miss and have its demonic eye look at them through the window. In a fit of panic, Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, and the mare quickly run away, the room and building they were in being destroyed by the Gunman. Scootaloo jumps down into a hole as Rainbow Dash and the mare follow suit.
-Fire-maned Mare: What the hell are you doing?
-Rainbow Dash: Mares fight face to face!
-Fire-maned Mare face-hoofs.
View shows more of Scootaloo's winding tunnels leading deeper under the village.
-Rainbow Dash: Mares should stay out of other mares battles!
-Fire-maned Mare: I'm the one fighting here!
Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, and the mare crawl along a tunnel with Scootaloo in front.
-Rainbow Dash: You're feisty. I like mares like that!
In a new cave, Scootaloo shines a light onto her newly found item. The mare is taken aback at the sight while Rainbow Dash stares with interest. It's the face Scootaloo found earlier.
-Rainbow Dash: So this is what you wanted to show me?
Scootaloo nods.
-Rainbow Dash: You've dug up something really amazing.
Scootaloo grins widely, blushing slightly at the compliment. The mare has a look of uncertainty on her face.
-Fire-maned Mare: Could it be on the Gunman's side?
-Rainbow Dash: (holds her chin, thinking) It's smaller than the guy upstairs, but I like the expression.
View shows Scootaloo sitting inside the face's head as she smiles again.
-Scootaloo: But, look!
The girl looks on with Rainbow Dash, a questionable look on her face.
-Fire-maned Mare: Somepony can ride it? No way.
-Rainbow Dash: You can ride it?!
Scootaloo gets into Rainbow Dash's face with a confident look on her face.
-Scootaloo: Big sis, with this we can go for the mega-face and..
-Rainbow Dash: (grins) Smash it!
Scootaloo nods as she holds the controls inside the face's head. Rainbow Dash turns away then holds her chin again, thinking once more while the mare looks at him.
-Rainbow Dash: With this, hmm...
-Scootaloo: Right, with this, you...
Suddenly, the small drill around Scootaloo's neck begins to glow and pulsate as the face's eyes do the same.
-Scootaloo: Looks like it can move!
-Fire-maned Mare: Really...?
-Scootaloo: Look, big sis!
Rainbow Dash looks to the face then at Scootaloo, a serious look on her face.
-Rainbow Dash: You do it, Scootaloo.
Scootaloo begins to move out of the face's head then looks at Rainbow Dash surprised along with the mare.
-Rainbow Dash: You dug it up! This guy is yours.
-Scootaloo: But...!
-Rainbow Dash: Stealing from my little sister...would the great Rainbow Dash do such a thing?
-Fire-maned Mare: (looks confused) ...What?
-Scootaloo: (panics) I can't do it!
-Rainbow Dash: Idiot! Go beyond the impossible and kick reason to the curb! (grips her wing tightly) That's the Gurren-dan way!
-Scootaloo: But...
The cave shakes as dust falls from above, making the three look up. Above in the village, the demonic bull Gunman rampages, slamming its large sword into the ground. In the cave, Rainbow Dash sits Scootaloo in the face's head.
-Rainbow Dash: Just do it!
Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, and the mare sit in the head as the mini drake makes his presence known with a squeak and appearing out of Scootaloo's cloak.
-Rainbow Dash: (places an wing around Scootaloo's shoulders) You can do it!
-Scootaloo: (tenses up) But...
-Rainbow Dash: Listen up, Scootaloo. Don't believe in yourself. Believe in me! (Scootaloo looks at Rainbow Dash confused) Believe in me, who believes in you!
-Fire-maned Mare: What's that...
Scootaloo looks down at the controls then nods in agreement.
-Scootaloo: I'll try. (pulls his goggles on)
The view shows a circular monitor in front of Scootaloo as it shows small fluctuations on the screen, a small opening in the center. Scootaloo holds onto the controls tightly. Close up on the screen (which glows blue-green), a semi-light blue spiral is showing around the opening. The opening in the center glows brightly almost like a spiraling galaxy. The reflection is shown on Scootaloo's goggles as she looks on in awe.
-Scootaloo: I did it!
A sudden burst of power comes from the face as Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, and the mare riding the face fly through a large tunnel, screaming the whole way through. They fly out of the tunnel and under the larger Gunman, tumbling head over in the process. The mare and Rainbow Dash hang on tightly; the mare leaning back as she holds onto Rainbow Dash's leg and Scootaloo's cloak.
-Rainbow Dash: You did it, Scootaloo!
-Scootaloo: Big sis!
-Rainbow Dash: Hell yeah!
The three rush by the village elder and his guards who watch with confusion.
-Village elder: That's...Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo.
The view shows the face (mini-Gunman) standing in front of the much larger Gunman who stands in an intimidating aura. Rainbow Dash laughs arrogantly.
-Rainbow Dash: Down here, you Gunman bastard! Heaven may forgive you, but mighty Lagann will not!
-Fire-maned Mare: (looks to Rainbow Dash, confused) Lagann?
-Rainbow Dash: (pats the mini-Gunman's side) This guy here. I just named it.
Scootaloo panics as the large Gunman slams its sword into the ground in front of the mini-Gunman, causing it to go into the air. The mini-Gunman's feet instantly
turn into springs.
-Rainbow Dash: Scootaloo! What are you doing? Don't run!
-Scootaloo: But...we're going to die!
They bounce back and forth, dodging the sword.
-Rainbow Dash: Real Ponies never lose, even in death!
The large Gunman thrusts his sword into the mini-Gunman's face, knocking it back. Rainbow Dash and the mare tumble head over heels on the sword's blade and land on its back while Scootaloo and the mini-Gunman are slammed into a wall, its newly acquired spring feet being destroyed. The view pans out and stays on the Gunman for a second until it changes to a bird's eye view of Rainbow Dash and the mare laying on their backs, still reeling from their tumble. They open their eyes in shock as the view pans out more.
-Fire-maned Mare: W-we're on its head?!
The large Gunman reaches up to his head; Rainbow Dash and the mare getting up and running from the hand that tries to grab them. Scootaloo, apparently unconscious, hangs upside down while Rainbow Dash and the mare run on top of the large Gunman's head, avoiding its hand.
-Rainbow Dash: Oi! Wait!
Scootaloo, hearing Rainbow Dash's yell, wakes up.
-Scootaloo: Sis!
Grabbing onto the Lagann's controls, Scootaloo gets out of the rubble that was on top of her then stays up on the sword, the camera showing Rainbow Dash and the mare from a distance running from the hand.
-Fire-maned Mare: Go away!
Scootaloo trembles at how high she is and at the size of the Gunman compared to the Lagann.
-Scootaloo: Do the impossible and kick reason to the curb! (gulps as the Lagann begins to slowly slide down)
That's our Gurren-dan ...
Before Scootaloo can finishing speaking, the Lagann rolls down the sword's blade, landing on the large Gunman's hand and running up its arm.
-Scootaloo: (yelling) Sis!
On the large Gunman's head, its hand reaches for the mare and Rainbow Dash; the mare shooting at the hand and Rainbow Dash holding her katana out towards
the hand. Lagann (or Scootaloo) jumps up then kicks the hand away and landing, much to Rainbow Dash and the mare's surprise. The two immediately get on Lagann as Scootaloo, hyperventilating, sits with a haunted look on her face.
-Rainbow Dash: Not bad, Scootaloo!
-Fire-maned Mare: (looks up, patting Lagann repeatedly and having a scared look on her face) Hurry up and jump! Jump!!
Scootaloo begins to calm down.
-Fire-maned Mare: A little faster! Go! Go!
Scootaloo grips the controls of the Lagann as Rainbow Dash and the mare look up in horror to the sword (or club) coming down on them. Suddenly, pink ribbons come out from around Lagann's head and push Rainbow Dash and the mare inside with Scootaloo, surprising them. Once inside, the club slams onto the protective covering on top of Lagann's head, looking like a brain. Lagann slips out from under the club and the large Gunman hits its own head soon after; the mini-Gunman spinning in the air.
-Rainbow Dash: N-nice shutters...Scootaloo.
-Fire-maned Mare: It's a little cramped, though..
The villagers along with the elder watch on in awe. Lagann knocks on the larger Gunman's teeth.
-Rainbow Dash: (over a radio communication) We've done it for now.
-Fire-maned Mare: (over a radio communication) He took quite a blow to the head.
The pink earth pony filly screams in horror while other villagers look on in shock, pointing towards the large Gunman who is suddenly awake and opens its fanged mouth towards Lagann and catches it in its teeth, chuckling darkly.
-Demonic gunman: (chuckles) Gotcha!
The demonic gunman grinds its teeth together against Lagann who struggles but to no avail. Sparks fly from the metal rubbing against one another.
-Fire-maned Mare: (face flushed from the cramped space) It's no good. It's too tight!
-Rainbow Dash: (has the mare's leg under her chin) Don't use that strange voice in here!
-Scootaloo: (face against the monitor) Damnit! More! More power!
The mini drake pops out from her cloak and looks to the monitor as Scootaloo reaches for the small drill key inside the ignition. She grabs the key and turns it as it powers up once again. A blue-green light emerges through the large gunman's teeth; one of its teeth being broken by a large drill from Lagann's head. The mini-Gunman breaks free in a brilliant display of light. Rainbow Dash, the mare and Scootaloo look outside Lagann to see...
-Rainbow Dash: A drill?!
-Scootaloo: It came out somehow.
-Rainbow Dash: Nice weapon, it suits you!
The drill shines as Lagann lands on a rock.
-Scootaloo: (over a radio communication) Sis, it seems we can go like this!
Inside of Lagann, Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo look out with determined looks on their faces.
-Rainbow Dash: All right, let's fight with that big guy! With the power of our Gurren-dan Drill!
Scootaloo nods and grips the controls of Lagann tightly as the monitor glows brightly. The Lagann, powered by Scootaloo, yells (Scootaloo's) and glows with a bright blue-green light from its mouth and makes two more drills from its hands. The mare watches with interest, the inside of Lagann a deep blue-green.
-Rainbow Dash: Now, Scootaloo, with that drill...take us to the heavens!
The demonic gunman, now angered, readies a thrust of its club at Lagann who jumps into the air powered by blue-green energy, flying towards the large gunman. The club and drill connect as the drill breaks through the club, obliterating it, the gunman's arm, and slams into its stump, pushing it off the ground.
-Rainbow Dash: Adios, Giha Village! We're going to the Surface! The Surface I saw when I was a kid!
Scootaloo grits her teeth as she holds onto Lagann's controls. She smiles broadly; she, Rainbow Dash, and the Mare screaming simultaneously. The view shows the surface along with a crater. The ground practically explodes as the demonic Gunman and Lagann break through the earth and fly up into the sky; the large Gunman being destroyed in the process. Lagann flies up as high as it can go (the drills disappearing). Scootaloo's cloak flies off of her, her gaze (along with Rainbow Dash and the mare) are focused on the amazing sight of the Surface ground; Lagann continuing to spin around gently.
-Rainbow Dash: (shocked) So this is the Surface?
Scootaloo stares in both awe and shock, her gaze following mountains and soon the sun setting on the horizon.
-Scootaloo: It's beautiful!
-Fire-maned Mare: Spitfire.
Scootaloo looks to the mare who sits with her legs crossed and her rifle against her shoulder.
-Spitfire: It's my name. I didn't tell you yet, did I?
-Scootaloo: Oh yeah...
The mare will be known as Spitfire from here on out. Rainbow Dash rests her leg on Scootaloo's head and smiles, pushing up her triangular glasses.
-Rainbow Dash: I'm Rainbow Dash, and this is Scootaloo. (has her wing on Scootaloo's head who smiles as well)
-Spitfire: (smiles back) Nice to meet you.
Spitfire looks up to her mane as her mane bounces to reveal the mini drake from before who looks to the horizon. She raises an eyebrow then points at him.
-Spitfire: Eh? What's this creature making himself comfortable in my mane? (blushes slightly as the mini drake looks at her with a small squeal)
-Scootaloo: (blushes, embarrassed) Hey! Spike!
The mini drake will be known as Spike from now on.
-Rainbow Dash: (looks at Spike sitting in Spitfires hair) Say...which do you think is tastier?
Spitfire notices how they've stopped and begin to fall.
-Spitfire: H-hey, wait, aren't we falling?
-Rainbow Dash: The jets stopped! Do something, Scootaloo!
-Scootaloo: But everything was fine earlier! (tired) It's no good...
-Spitfire: She gave up too fast!
Lagann falls from a terrifying height; Rainbow Dash, Spitfire, and Scootaloo screaming and hanging on in the process.
-Rainbow Dash: We're falling! Hold on tight!
Scootaloo activates the protective shield around the opening of Lagann's head as Rainbow Dash and Spitfire are pulled inside. Lagann activates the spring feet to stop their fall only to slam into the ground with a loud boom. Once the dust clears, Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo are shown laying on the ground.
-Rainbow Dash: (laying on his back) That was some entrance.
-Scootaloo: (laying face first) No kidding.
Realizing that she is laying face first on Spitfire's belly, Scootaloo quickly gets up.
-Scootaloo: (blushing madly) S-sorry!
Spitfire simply smiles at Scootaloo's shyness until her face suddenly turns into a look of shock at first then to complete horror, gasping. Scootaloo gasps at Spitfire's face only to be grabbed by her and her face pushed into her belly as she holds her protectively.
-Spitfire: It's just one danger after another!
The view shows Rainbow Dash and Spitfire's backs as they look up to meet the terrifying gazes of two angry-looking faces (mouths and eyes glowing yellow)...screen goes to black.
