Open the door to an unknown world. Never think about what may happen. Enjoy your peaceful nights.

Think about your friends. Will they be able to help you? Only time will tell.

Find yourself in the shadows. Reach for the stars for their light. Even in dreams there are consequences. Don't lose sight of your goals. Dream in peace; secured by your sovereign. Youth is fleeting, So enjoy the time you have.

Close your eyes and sleep. Open your mind and dream. Mend your aches in slumber. Indulge in fantasies fleeting. Never mind the shades of doubt. Gleefully laugh at impossible antics.

Find your center. Observe your balance. Refine your mentality.

Youth is wasted on the young. Onwards unto death's embrace. Until you wake, if you ever do again, you're in my world!

Now that there are two chapters out that explicitly detail our villain and give away some of the mystery that remained so long as one never looked at the second comment, I believe it is time to pierce the veil.

This is a Nightmare on Elm Street crossover. As such, there will be gore. There will be nonsensical situations at times due to dreams being a heavy plot element to the point of being a setting in the story. Ponies will die, and a majority of them will be young and tragic. There is a reason I chose that tag.

If you like gore, please do come in. I promise I won't bite. If you don't like gore but enjoy a dark story, you may still enjoy this.

The gore is not there just for the sake of being gory, but for the sake of preserving the feel of the source material.

Proofreading is now being done by sevenofeleven.

Now has an anthology of side-stories not directly related to the narrative: Just a Dream...
